Lionhead Golf Club & Conference Centre

Great golf course, conditions maintained to good standards. Type of course is easier to play a second time around as lots of tricky fairways distances from the tee box. Good food at the turn as well and the staff was very hospitable and courteous, especially the pro shop check in.

This course is not designed well. I think the designer just wanted to claim to have the most difficult course in Canada as what they proudly claim at the first hole of the Legends course.

The course is also not maintained well and the overall experience was under par (pun intended). I find all the Kaneff courses I've been to in the past few years are not kept well and the staff don't seem happy to be there. It almost feels like a muni course in that regard. But the price is a private course price.

I'd stay away from this course and try the many other great courses in the area.

Amazing facility, Amazing service, amazing food, and a very challenging beautiful golf course. Could use better signs on the golf course some T boxes are hard to find.

Terribly managed course. Please don’t bother with your time. They make outrageous rules like we can’t drive our carts to our parking lot to pick and drop off our bags, double book our tee time, and make a 5 and half hour round acceptable even after we had called the pro shop to speed up the pace. We played the legend course and I wouldn’t even consider it difficult, it is just the way they market it to attract players.

Both Lionhead courses are two of my all time favorites. Be prepared to be challenged by elevated tee shots, long approaches and well placed hazards on Legends. Recommend taking a power cart versus walking. Masters is more forgiving and a great walking course.

Beautiful, well maintained courses. Staff at the Pro Shop are always kind and accommodating.

Attended a wedding/reception. Great place, staff were also very professional and efficient clearing plates/glasses etc. Bartenders were extra good.

Attended a friend's wedding reception was truly amazing. The landscape especially during sunset is increble. That includes the foods served. Notably, the medium rare roast beef waa to die for.

Very tough course (they have a sign at the first hole that says it’s one of the toughest in North America). For anyone who doesn’t have a handicap under 10, it’s an unenjoyable course to play.

This is because you have no chance to reach any greens in regulation, there are very small markers on the course and no GPS in the carts and the hazards make for many lost balls.

I really didn’t enjoy the course and felt embarrassed/beaten/terrible by the 14th hole and just played with my group in order to finish the round. Not an enjoyable course for me!

Great course, well maintained. I played the masters, the easiest of the 2. I will be back to crack 85.
Edit: Would give a 5 if there were more beer carts on the course.was a hot day and a lot of drinks were needed.

The pace of play is absolutely disgusting. The worst I've been to. I had to wait at least 10-15mins every hole and it took my group a total of 5 hours and 20mins to finish the whole course. Will not be recommending to friends and colleagues.

I love the golf course. I played on Master! Very challenging course. For sure, I will come and play again.

Great course, challenging! Good way to spend the afternoon. Everything was clean and course played great. Greens ran fast and were very deceiving. Played through a tournament but green fees normally are too expensive for me.

Grand and Lux property that's well maintained. Service staff could be more accessible. Beautiful views all around otherwise.

Pace of play was absolutely unacceptable for a course with a premium price. Was waiting 10+ minutes per shot on every hole, and round totalled 5h 30 minutes. Was booked for a 10: 30am tee time and was not allowed to even take the cart from the club house to tee block until 10: 40, at which point we rolled up behind FIVE golfers teeing off on the first hole. Marshall’s did not do their job to keep pace of play reasonable. This course needs to stop pushing so many golfers through and space tee times at least 12-15 minutes apart to maintain a reasonable pace of play. If charging a premium price you should be providing a premium experience, which is certainly not the case with Lionhead.

Still a breathtaking, tough track that punishes mediocre shots, treat yourself, it's well worth the money,
