Stayed her for weekend several times this past year and have always been extremely pleased with service, atmosphere, amenities (including an awesome brunch in bistro) and location.would highly recommend for both long and short term accommodations! Long LIV this establishment. Diane

They don’t have accessible on-premise laundry facilities for tenants as advertised, the machines are always backlogged by staff. Be prepared to wait for hours to access machines.

Our rental agent was extremely helpful. We are relocating from Europe and he helped arrange everything online, so we can stay in our own apartment from the first day of our stay.

They have really nice 1 bedroom units with lots of light and decent space. The amenities are great especially if you've got a dog. I'd definitely recommend to people looking for a nice, central place to live.

We bought and paid in advance for PH1 almost $800 for 4 nighrs. We received no keys to enter or for parking. When we came, there was no parking spot available. The door was close as you need a key to enter! Staff was very friendly and helpfull, but there was lack of information and simple schema for entance into parking of finding elevators. No signs either. The place was very clean, but not very organized. The desigh of appartment was not good. Near the bed only right night table, sink space is little. Lack of many things, no salt, pepper, sugar, oil, towel paper, two cofee only. No shampoo, no dish soap.
Electric plugs are located the most inconvenient ways, no USB. Very little information about room, entrance to the parking lot was hard to find, as it said "the alarm would start, if you open the door". Place is very far from down town. Near shops work in inconvenient time frames. The internet was perfect.

Cleaning & concierge staff are absolutely lovely! Wish I could say the same for their management/overall living standards. They shut off AC until they deem it's hot enough to turn back on, their amenities (including the dog pad) are not usable during the winter even if you're injured and can't make it all the way downstairs at midnight! Lovely!

Lastly, our upstairs neighbour had been allowing his dog to relieve himself on his balcony which unfortunately, trickled on to ourselves & belongings almost everyday for 5 months. Building management was aware of this but neglected to do anything until we got legal involved. They are brutal.

PS - The group replied to my comment "We take the privacy of our guests seriously, and it would be inappropriate to comment on the situation outlined in your review. " but from my end there was no wrongdoing, as the apartment was left immaculate and me and my husband always behaved appropriately. This company doesn't even own the behaviour of their own staff!

My experience with this hotel ended around 3 weeks ago, but I wanted to write an objective comment, so I took my time to sit and type it with a fresh mind. Unfortunately, I experienced the same "prison guard" treatment as commented by someone else in this page.

At that time my credit card limit was 1.500 euros (euros, not canadian dollars), I had stayed in the hotel in Jan and Feb, and the payment went well, the staff at the frontdesk understood the limitation and charged me twice. No judgement was passed and true focus existed on solving the issue.

Came March and everything changed, the manager came to collect rent, which was within his rights, however, he said my credit card limit was "low", that my card wasn't going through in their system, he went to my apartment and shouted to my husband, saying we had to leave immediately. Other member of staff repeatedly told my husband if we didn't pay we couldn't stay, as if we had any intention of not paying.

I offered to swipe the credit card, he refused, as he refused any other type of payment than the one on their system. Swiping the credit card was limited to amenities only, for rent the card had to be charged on their system.

I called my bank, everything was ok with my card, and no attempts of payment were registered there.

In the end, I had to pay one night extra and I remembered I had a debit revolut card, I hadn't tried it because the manager said only credit cards were accepted, but it worked as a visa card. I was so upset that I wished to move to another hotel anyway.

We started to leave and due to the amount of things we had to transport, we had to make two trips to the new hotel - which, by the way, acceptd the same card. After the first trip, I received an email saying that I had checked out without handing in the keys and that the payment was 50 dollars per key, again another offensive interaction when I hadn't even checked out yet.

I am leaving out unpleasant details, because they're not worth mentioning here. This whole experience was a shame, as my husband really loved the gym there, and the location was ideal for me. Unfortunately, no one ever apologised, so I am reluctant to go back.

Generally speaking, This is a really nice home if they don't forcefully evict you from your old parking spot (even if you’ve never said you want to stop renting). And when they ask you to move your car, the management team has really good (prison guards) attitude.

Very nice place and decoration, recommend everyone one who looking for apartments! Appartment very comfortable and clean and you have everything what you need for start your life!

My experience leasing here has been great. I needed to find an apartment quickly and Samantha, my leasing agent, was there to ensure that the leasing process was done quickly and efficiently.

Was able to book accommodations here last minute (our original hotel claimed there was an error with our booking and refused to let us check in). Although a bit pricey, service and staff were very pleasant to deal with.

Building has a lot of amenities, great rooftop deck, lounge area and gym. The pet amenities also made our stay comfortable too since it was easy to let our dogs out or bathe them in the pet salon station.

Only downsides would be that the sound proofing of the units could be a bit better, but this could also be due to the layout/floor plans where a lot of hallway noise was carrying into the main living space. Also there's no central air so the only airflow into the unit would be from the windows/balcony or the wall AC unit (which wouldn't circulate to the bedroom). The weather wasn't too bad during our stay, but I could imagine it being brutal in the summer.

Other than that, the staff were lovely, the cafe at the ground level was convenient to have and the units.

I recently moved in at the end of summer. Samantha Mulligan the Leasing Agent made the transition easy and straight forward with no missed details, probably the main reason why I a decided to come to LIV. Very happy with my experience so far. The front desk and extended guidance from Sydney Rathbone has been very helpful with any of my extended inquires and questions too!
