Still one of the worse out there. No changes in their management. The still screwup truckers by not clearing their shipments on time but we are out of that trouble now because we don’t haul shipments that has to be cleared through Livingston.

If you want to get your clearance you have to send documents minimum a day before crossing the border. Other wise your driver will be stuck for ever. They don't respect your time, even if they say they will escalate the process that promise is just for the customer care. It will never happen.

My experience with their service is not different from others.
They are not good in communication, my shipment was released but I came to know next day. I had fruits in my shipment and they were not fresh when I picked them up.
I would recommend to find another broker!

Wow! I sure wish I had read these reviews before using Livingston. Having all the same problems others have complained of. This is the worst unprofessional company I have ever worked with. On the hunt today for a new broker. Never will use Livingston again!

Livingston is the worst customs broker to work with. They have the longest timelines for customs clearance and on top of that every few weeks they have system outages that run into days and weeks. I am surprised that they are not worried about their reputation as customs broker and loss of business due to their repeated outages. How can a customs broker afford to have system outages so often. I have never experienced such stuff with any other customs broker. I would stop accepting loads where Livingston is the customs broker. I am sure clients will start looking for alternatives when carriers will abstain from hauling loads that have Livingston as customs broker.
Unwillingly, I have to give them 1 star, they do not deserve this also.

The worst excuse for a broker ever. A simple, everyday shipment from a regular customer. Over 36 after paperwork submitted, still no activity to process the paperwork? !
Finally, after many phone calls, "okay, paperwork is processed, ready to send to customs". Over 5 hours later, still "ready to send to customs", but nothing happening? !
Paperwork is "good" according to Livingston reps, but now in "administrative hold" indefinitely.
And they call themselves a CUSTOMS BROKER? This is beyond ridiculous. They should be forced to SHUT DOWN and reimburse the people waiting for them to do their job! I will gladly join a class-action lawsuit against this pathetic excuse for a business.
Why doesn't someone look into this horrible customer service at exorbitant prices? They leave trucks and shipments in limbo without recourse! Why doesn't someone make them pay, like Rogers was made to pay!

Well I have to choose at least 1 star otherwise I can't review this place!
They had the worst services ever! They don't answer phone, e-mail and when I got someone on the phone she was very rude, she said she would stay silent because she can't help, why would you be on the phone then!
this is the second day our production stopped because of their delay!
if you were told Livingston is the last company in the planet, you better off going to customs yourself rather than hiring them

I'm a truck driver, my company choose Livingston as their broker. Tons of us stuck and wait at borders. I’m leaving this company, and Livingston is one of the main reason. If you are a logistics company and want to keep your drivers happy, I hope you see this before you start with them.

I would understand if once in a while a shipment gets put on hold my last 5 customs i’ve cleared with livingston has taken 8-36 hours i had a driver at the border for 2 days they lie about missing paper work Instead of hiring people to respond to all these one start comments why not hire people to clear customs you guys are clearly to busy responding to all these one star posts and have no time for customs clearance.i will never pick up a load if the customs broker is livingston it’s better to refuse the load then get stuck with these circus animals.

Do not pick a load for a shipper who, s customs broker is Livingston or charge shipper extra $350/00 for Livingston because there system goes down 4 to 5 times in a month. And drivers we have to pay waiting or majority of the time load has to bring load inbound because of the Livingston Customs Broker problem.

Worst customs broker ever. Sent paperwork today morning at 8: 30am emailed and faxed. Finally they got the paperwork in the system at 1: 22pm. Driver has been at the border since 11am. It is now 8pm and still no one is assigned on the shipment. Same old and lame excuses we are back logged and we have expedited your load. What kind of expedited service is this that it take almost 12 hours and no one is still assigned on the shipment to work on. This is the 2nd time this week the same driver is stuck at border and livingston people don’t have an answer. You guys need to hire more people to work if you are always back logged or just put a lock on your office door and shut it down, cause you clearly don’t have staff to take care of your customers.

Our truck is still sitting at border not cleared yet. Sent the email yesterday at websupport emIl you provide but no answer yet. How many day will it take to clear a shipment?

0 stars! They cleared a motorcycle but did not submit paperwork to the registrar.
I’ve been calling them for 2 weeks but no one is willing to help. NO response from brokerage teams or customer service teams for weeks now.

How many 1 star review will it take for this company to implement changes that actually work. For example get rid of the “Calling Centres” makes no sense, a lot better to keep communication through email. This company is hiding behind outsourced calling centres with employees who don’t have a clue what it means to wait 4 hours for clearance.

It is by far the worst custom clearance broker ever. I wish I could give minus starts. As a carrier we lose HOURS each week on calling Livingston to clear shipments even though they have all paperwork. I am not sure why people set them selves up with this broker with so many better choices out there & the customer service agents just keep on giving lame excuses like we have escalated. Please hire more people. Its a nightmare when we see Livingston as broker.

Only solution to save your & Drivers time. DO NOT PICK UP THE FREIGHT WHICH IS CLEAR BY LIVINGSTON. Worst customs broker service in the Market, after 17 hours of receiving our paper work and 10 phone calls they did not get a chance to look at our paper work. I wish I can give them -100 stars in negative.

I am in the transportation industry for more that 13 years and my biggest nightmare is Livingston as a custom broker. You submit the docs and then keep following up every two hours, you are lucky if they submit the entry in 12 hours, past Friday we picked a regular weekly shipment and we chased them for clearance and entry for 36 hours. Finally we end up putting the shipment in bond. And today again we had a US bound shipment from Canada and they received the paperwork around 3: 30 PM, Driver waited at the border for 5 hours. Phone lines tell you wait time approximately 4 mins and they are getting disconnected after 15 minutes. Tried twice finally advised the driver to go to sleeper. And will start the chase tomorrow. WORST BROKER EVER. AWFUL.

Worst Brokerage Company ever! 18 hours since I sent the first documents, 11 hours since I sent the missing document.still not cleared. All I hear on the phone is to wait and excuses. Nobody is replying to the emails, no chance to speak directly to the person who is clearing the goods. They don't care about their customers at all. Wish you'll go out of market one day, I am sure everyone will be more than happy to start working with a professional broker instead of you.

Wish I could rate them lower. They charged us without looking if the shipment was in warehouse or not. Now, it's been over 2 weeks. They wouldn't refund any money back ($2200). I have emailed and pestered them everyday. Nobody replies. Rodica Shneider and Marie McGarrel looks at my emails and conveniently ignores them.

Please choose better for yourself and don't go wasting your time, money and energy at Livingston.

Don't waste your time or money on this unprofessional freight forwarder! I hired them for customs clearance and they won't release or lost the documents so the warehouse cannot release my shipment. They had one job to do, customs clearance, but they can't seem to get it done. Get ready to wait days if not weeks just for someone at Livingston to press a button! It seems like this is their first day in operation and I'm their first customer. Had I done some more research I would not have hired Livingston and would never recommend them.

To add insult to an already horrible experience, the freight forwarder implied twice that I might be doing something illegal with the shipment. My purchase was made on Alibaba.com and shipped by Alibaba.com! Is that illegal? Does that seem illegal? Suggesting on multiple occasions that a new customer (me) could be committing international crimes is a very unique approach to customer service, Livingston.

Here's an update: My shipment is now undergoing a second customs inspection. These Livingston people are out to get me. What is the issue? What are they trying to prove? Avoid this company unless you want this to happen to you!

We are dealing with this company for years, lately customer service is below poor. For one order it take 10 days to clear and now the second order more than 48 hours gone and we are not getting any answer. Driver is sitting on the border) During this time we sent numerous emails and calling every 30 minutes. Customer service keep saying that someone is working on it and not providing any contact name or number to talk. I might will loose these big customer but these guys are careless.

Zero stars, wish I had read these reviews first. How difficult is it to clear a package DHL air from Europe to WA state. They seriously have not helped one bit. I gave them all the information and they just keep asking for it. No help at all, really wish I had gone with someone else. Please do your jobs or get out of the industry.

They were clearing the border From Thursday 4 PM until Friday 10 AM so shipment was late for delivery and truck was returned to the yard. Every time you call them they just lie about that it will be cleared soon. Even after it was cleared, I was asking them to change the port crossing on different day, calling them three times and they just ignored. This is just a joke.

Its been 4 hours since they received customs paperwork for border clearance. No one has done anything. Everytime you call, someone picks up the phone but gives no answers. You are placed on hold for 20 mins, sometimes more. Some one is supposedly working on your order, but you can never speak to them. Worst broker on the market. If you are wishing to clear your freight US to Canada or back, pick someone who wants to do the job, not Livingston.

If you're thinking about choosing Livingston as your customs broker, don't. They are by far the worst broker around. They're so bad I now have to ask my potential customers who their broker is, if they say Livingston I apologise and turn down the freight. The amount of times I've had to sit drivers at a border and make 5+ phone calls is more than I'd like to remember. Each call consists of an agent telling you to call back in 45 minutes, no matter 2hat the problem is it's always the 45 minute answer. Might as well just have a voicemail that says that. DON'T CHOOSE LIVINGSTON!

I wish if I can give livingstone zero star. These people in call center are very unprofessional they even cut your line when you ask them questions about shipment. Every time you call they tell you call back after 45 min and they do nothing and driver have to wait at border without any reason. No matter what if you submit paperwork to them 1 days ago or 5 hours ago story will be same.call them 5 to 8 time fight with them after shipment will cleared if you lucky. I can say Livingston not paying them good or theses people are stealing Livingston money bcz they do nothing.
