Hire more people in new bakery area. Only 1 person is working and that person deals with customers who are trying to choose birthday cakes and we wait for a single bread in line for 20 minutes Terrible
Attn: Store Manager - Mike Williamson: Management needs to teach and train all their customer service associates especially those older women (a liability) at the checkout and CS desk-visited twice and both older Asian women (Chinese, her name according to the receipt I got is Lisa and Filipino lady from CS desk last week) has a rude attitude and no respect towards their customers, treat customers like criminals, they all need basic customer service training. Get rid of them and replace them with those who actually cares and knows how to treat their customer loyal and respect. End of story.
As would be expected, the service and quality of food is very much there. With that, the price is to higher or par for what you get. However, there are deals to be had and less expensive selections of food. The fresh deli and hot food is great value and great tasting. Deals of 50 percent off select products can be found throughout. There are other amenities to be found, a family practice, gym, cooking room for classes, and a lottery and smoke shop.
A section is under renovation, thus household and Joe Fresh departments have shrunk, everything else is just as usual, tidy, well organized and clean, with wide aisles and quality products for comfortable shopping.
This Loblaws location continuously stock expired products on their shelves. I keep having to ask for a refund since INSTACART sends expired items from this location. ️
October 2021 3 This Loblaws location has a lot of parking and designated online ordering pickup spots. Close by, there's an LCBO within the same complex if the beer they sell isn't enough. The This location has a lot. A catering section, floral department, bakery, seafood, deli, cooked foods, butcher, pharmacy, electronics and optical department. They've made a smaller section for Joe Fresh (used to be bigger) There's also Good Life Fitness for women upstairs. For those who are looking for classes, they also have coming classes or hosts birthday parties. Unfortunately, they've recently closed off a section where they had home products. Overall, the store is clean and there are some limited deals. They do offer a raincheck should the product they sell is out of stock.
2016 3 Has Joe Fresh, Pharmacy, Optical, Goodlife and Drycleaning as part of the building. Nothing special really. Do go there for flyer specials on occasions. Other than that, they do have some good deals after the holidays. Last time, picked up a huge pumpkin for 25 cents after halloween and there were plenty left.
I think you should upload your food flash app so food doesn’t go to waste. I saw so much cheese that expired on the very day that I went into the store. This can be prevented if you update your app.
I have been shopping here for decades and never experienced anything like this morning Oct 9,2021. First off, the fault was mine for not have read the full paragraph on the notice for a limit of 2 sections of prime rib roasts. Normally if there is a limit.you would see huge "LIMIT of 2" posted, not a paragraph in small font. I asked the butcher if I would be able to have an entire shrink wrapped side of roast like I normally did in the past, and he said yes. I already had multiple smaller roasts in my cart, so thought it would be okay freeze them since I already handled them. During checkout with my Thanksgiving grocery, this super nice cashier had a problem with ringing in the 3rd smaller roast and called her supervisor for help. This middle aged middle eastern or east asian lady was furious. She snapped at me saying there is a limit of 2 and was quite upset. I apologized a couple times and told her I did not know about the limit. Maybe she was having a bad morning/day but the cashier profusely apologized on her behalf because she could clearly see how awful her supervisor's behaviour was. If management reads this, they should have a talk with this supervisor because she clearly cannot be allowed to be the face of Loblaws for an incident like this. Berating a paying customer for ignorance should not be tolerated in a service industry
Parking lot always lots of parking space. Prices are a little higher than other places but rather shop here than Walmart or no frills. Customer base is a little more high end. May find food products not found at other stores
Always a good experience shopping at this location. I appreciate the organization and the cleanliness. This time in particular the staff went above and beyond to help me find my car keys that I dropped. Every staff was very helpful and seemed genuinely concerned. The store manager Mike pulled out all the carts out of the way and searched under many places to really help me find my keys. At the end, the keys were found by two ladies in the order ahead area (with the green baskets, sorry I forget what that’s called) and I was able to drive home! Thanks guys much appreciated.
Went to the garden centre for topsoil. The young lady there was most helpful and when she saw me with my van waiting for help to load in the bags of soil she ran over and loaded it herself When I wrbt back later for even more bags she made sure there was someone waiting to load it for me! Fantastic service and wonderful employee! We had a great talk about developing toned arms and she mentioned she played beach volleyball just like my daughter does.
Friendly staff. Fabulous Butcher Peter will go the extra mile for you. Cashiers are kind and helpful. Wishing I could name them all. Cleaning staff need a reward for job well done. Always a pleasure to shop here
Despite long line up at cashier, line moved quickly. Store set up nicely to accommodate social distancing and easy access to hand sanitizer. Unfortunately, didn't have everything on my list product wise. Cashier was lovely, cheerful and friendly.
I love how the lady at the flowers department helped me with what I needed and she was super nice and the work she does is amazing thank you so much for that!
Went to this Loblaws location on Sunday May 2nd, 2021 with a coupon issued by the manufacturer mailed to me in colour/glossy, but somehow in French. I presented the coupon the cashier who didn't know what to do and referred to the customer service manager (Shan) and advised us that they cannot accept a coupon in French. I questioned their decision, given Canada has 2 official languages (English & French), similar to USA (English & Spanish). Loblaws operates in Quebec as Provigo. Would we be telling all Canadian Francophone that your language isn't accepted outside of Quebec, including print (coupons). Shan later asked her superior on a walkies-talkie and said that they'll accept it this time. I responded back that it's an official language, had it been written in another language (Chinese, Russian, Arabic, etc.) then I can understand the refusal. I asked that they put a big sign at the storefront to advise that only "English" coupons will be accepted by Loblaws and see how their customers feel with this kind of decision. We expect that by 2021 that discrimination in race, religion, identity, and language would be gone, but who knew an official language could be rejected? Not a business I would want to associate with given the service and reasoning behind this language issue.
Surprise suprise. Another poor experience at this store. Over the years and especially this year I have purchase less and less from loblaws/ this store, due to various reasons including customer service. This store is no longer part of my regular routine.
Today I was looking for water filters and couldn’t find it on the shelves/ floor. It was difficult to find someone to help. I only ask for help if i really can’t find something. I try to locate it myself. I had no choice but head to customer service. I had the picture of the item from the flyer on my phone to make it easier for the associate. As I begin to ask her, she says no it’s blocked off and not available for sale. I barely had a chance to finish what I had to say and she interrupts me. She can’t be bothered and brushed me off. I knew it was on the shelves and allowed to be sold as I saw it a few days ago. It seems as if she rather not have to do anything and have no one ask her anything. She also had her information wrong. It’s not blocked off. It’s essential and can be sold. I ended up finding the water filters on my own. It was being sold and not blocked off. She was wrong.
Employees are not well informed, especially the female employee at customer service. Maybe listen for once and not interrupt. So shocked at how misinformed she was when she works at the store.
The store and merchandise is good. But what makes a big difference is the customer service and cashing out process. Employees have much energy and dissatisfaction to be yelling and speaking at customers in a rude tone. Always treat customers with respect.
Employees don’t care or are too busy talking amount themselves to help customers. This has happened more than once. If you need assistance at the self checkout, don’t expect it or expect to have an employee with an extemely rude tone. I have experience it myself and witnessed it.
It you choose to use the regular registers, employees seem like they don’t want to be there, blank stare, rude tone. They don’t help customers bag items. I have seen customers with large orders trying to frantically pack everything themselves, while the cashier walks out from behind the register to look around.
Had such an nice employee this one time and I was so pleasantly surprised. Saw on her name tag she was assistant manager. It’s sad to say that a bit of politeness is such a surprise.
Overall, avoid this store due to poor customer service on many occasionas and only make small purchases.
Very good place to shop your daily groceries; always fresh. Bakery is nice, I have had many orders for cakes and never had any complains; always had consistent taste for the cakes I ordered. Overall very good place and staff is very friendly too.
Usually has a good selection of produce, though not a ton of ethnic stuff in that section. Almost always well stocked. Checkout is quick, cashiers and staff are friendly.
Great service, always in stock, clean and spacious. Price is getting more competitive too, their facial tissue and toilet papers are always cheaper than other competitors when they are on sale. Also love their bakery selection too, I always get their egg bread which I can't find anywhere else.
I found several sales not part of the flyer. I haven't been there often enough to confirm that but was surprised by what unadvertised items were on sale, and these were not reduced price items due to the bb date.
Just tried getting food from their deli clearly they were open as the food was already out. Attendant was too lazy to serve me, and says we are open at 11am. Asked her if she going to make me wait and said yes in a very rude manner smh
This is a really great supermarket. One of the best in the GTA. They have a large variety of items in each of their departments and the President's Choice line is second to none. The produce, meat and bakery are always well stocked with the freshest products. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Loblaws for all of your shopping needs.
Very clean and well stocked, though sale items tend to go fast. Check out their clearance items, prices are slashed considerably. Regularly priced items are expensive, you are better off going to No Frills. Fruits and veggies however are superior!
Love this location always clean and tidy and love that they many times have many items discounted at 50% off. Better than the other locations I've been to
This loblaws has good parking, isn’t usually too busy and has what you need for the most part. Some of the prepared food/self checkout employees weren’t the most helpful the last time we went there but it was the end of the day.
Clean and has is a quick in and out at most times. They carry beer as well although there is an LCBO in the same parking lot that has a larger selection of craft beers.
There is always something that upsets us here but it is close by so we come here for convenience. First it was the self checkout machine, you need 'attendance'' every couple items you scanned. Now that is improved, but the customer service has moved to outside. There is always line-up to check out even during the least busy hours. If the cashier made a mistake and you as the customer did not catch it and paid already, you have to go outide of the store to line up at the customer service again to get your $ back. If it is just $0.50, do you want line up for another 15 minutes after 20 minutes line up just for them to make a mistake. The funny thing is the staff at the customer service said there was nothing they can do, it is human mistake, you have to line up here to get your money back. This happened more than once!
