Walmart is starting to be the same thing And also two, they don't even sell carburetors there. Or any car parts which is absolutely ridiculous. Because What's going to happen? If I get a girlfriend or a wife and I have to go with her shopping. Like lah blaz and Walmart need to do something about the this. This is a series issue.

Lawblaws are always clean and tidy. I have yet to buy anything at lawblaws and had an issue. Unlike Walmart, the land of bad meat and moldy produce.

The staff are always friendly too. Recently, when I went in. One staff member was dressed up as a cat for animal day.super cute. The staff are just friendly and seem to be happy when I go in there. Which makes shopping there nicer for sure.

It's an excellent walmart outlet.

Is anyone overseeing quality control in the bakery? I really enjoy the 7 grain bread, so I'm willing to pay the significantly higher price. However, I'm really frustrated by the far too many occasions when much smaller loaves (approx 2/3 the normal size) are placed on the shelf instead. It appears that those loaves are placed in the oven before they have fully risen. This is so easy to fix, yet the problem has been going on for more than a year.
Food handling and hygiene? Please wash your hands before slicing bread, especially after returning to the bakery counter after stocking shelves in the public spaces. That's common sense.
West end Loblaws, please do better. Both of these issues are big deals.

Prices are sometimes wild and the optimum program is horrible my card has not worked for about a year 6 calls to customer service and no results. One example of the price gouging even at 50% off have to wonder what the farmer got for the cow time to calm out these companies that are taking advantage of us.

Usually overpriced grocery store. Staff are typically unwilling to help when asked questions. Some unfortunately can not communicate with English or French causing communication barriers.

Store is clean, parking is empty, carts are well stocked. Hits the minimum points for a functional grocery in mind.

Minor issues with unruly people hanging around the front doors.

They have an app called Flashfoods which posts foods at a clearance price when the foods get close to their best before date. People can purchase the items from the app and go to the Customer Service Counter to pick them up.

Clean store, helpful staff but most items can be found cheaper at other local stores but they do have some cool specialty items.

Great store.dissappointed there was no canned salmon on sale as advertised. Went there a few hours after opening on 1st day of sale.

As Loblaws go, it's ok. Nothing to brag about but neither is there anything to complain about. Most staff are friendly, courteous and helpful and they usually have what I need in stock

It was a quick trip because they didn't have BBQ chickens ready when I went there. Maybe I was too early, just before 5.

Was awesome, the food and vegetables are very fresh, proving is fair, store is very clean and staff is extremely friendly. Great selection. I truly enjoy doing here.

Was in Kingston on business and I miss having a Loblaws back home, big store but with a small town feel. Ours back home is a supercenter now and just seems so cheap and not as much options. Especially at the hot counter. This loblaws took me back in time when ours was like this! Hopefully it doesn't change.

Their pcexpress service is very effective and saves me a lot of time. Sometimes the accuracy of what you receive as a replacement item for something they didn't have is not good but when you contact them they are quick to offer compensation.

The store is very clean but the majority of employees are outright rude. Never fails, everytime we go to this Loblaw store (lived here 7 yrs now) we leave angry as the staff are clearly miserable working there. If you ask for help, they make sure you know how annoyed they are that you bothered them, like the lady in the bakery department this visit. Put back all our items and left the store. Horrible experience every time.

I used the grocery pick-up service. They lost a star because my order was not done on time and I had to wait 1/2h but the staff was very friendly and I did receive a notification that my order was delayed.

It would be nice to have things in stock during the weekend. Other than not having enough stock, it is a good place to do grocery

High quality, clean and bright store and ample cashiers for once. Loblaws is a bit pricey, but we got a custom cake and it was moist and delicious

I'll have to disagree with some reviews.
First is it's always a clean store. I shop here a lot so it's not the norm if you disagree.
Great produce dept and well stocked and fresh looking and again clean.
Great meat counter and well stocked. Freezers and coolers well kept with specials displayed!
Every other aisle well stocked, clean and prices shown and in great display as such of goods.
Overall variety is excellent.

They are helpful and frankly I like that they keep staff and its a familiar face each time.

Oh ya.the bakery dept and fish dept are top notch as well! Can't forget a dept.
We get B'day cakes, pies and I buy scallops.

Excellent selection of hot food to go. I didnt like the fact that I went specifically to Loblaws on Midland to pick up member special. Sorry sold out was the answer I got. This is 2 weeks in a row. There is not enough in supply for their sales. Not going back any time soon.

Aug 28,2920 - An expensive grocery store for the most part; just checked out their grapefruit. Anywhere from $0.79 (FreshCo) to $0.99 (Farm Boy). At Loblaws you can pick up the very same grapefruit (from South Africa) on sale for $2.50 each- if you buy more than 1; who can afford it! $2.59 each if you only buy one!

Very disappointed in their care towards customers in this pandemic. Watched their cart guy bring in 10 carts and gently wipe the handle of 3 of them before leaving, there was noone there to sanitize any of the carts before a customer would use them.
We had just come from no frills where they have a dedicated staff there all the time cleaning and disinfecting every cart that comes in. If this is how loblaws is on the "front line" how are they taking care of everything else we cant see?

Clean store. Just your average Loblaws. The staff I talked to were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the seafood counter. I was looking for side dish options for Lobster dinner and she went above and beyond to offer me all kinds of suggestions for our mothers day feast.

The reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because the cashier was snobby and pushy. I'm a very friendly person and always keep my distance while wearing my face mask out of respect to the staff. She, however, was miserable and just plain rude. Oh well.

I was named in a complaint by someone who wouldn't leave their name. Interesting though, that I was off in hospital having an operation at that time.

Great store in great employees. I think it is a shame that Galen reducing the pay of these employees after all they have been through with Covid-19

Love shopping at Loblaw it's convenient I get medication, food, dog supplies, clothing, seasonal items, gardening supplies and great service and atmosphere. A one stop shop!

Looks like this is the best food store in the area. I shopped in all Metro stores before, and always had issues with watermelons, melons, avocados, berries, etc. They were too green and hard, or spoiled and impossible to eat. In this store - they are always good so far. Also, there is big selection of organic meat, much bigger than in other stores. And also good selection of local meat grown without antibiotics and hormones.

The selection is always spot on. Reducing foods that are near expiry is like hunting for a bargain meal. I love the deli and organics section. The aroma of fresh bread is delicious in the air often.

This is a decent Loblaws. It’s clean and well stocked although they often carry some produce that is beyond ripe or just not good in general so unfortunately you need to look very carefully at each piece.
