Plastering 30% off stickers over the 50% off stickers for food nearing expiry. Clear contempt for the struggling consumer and absolute greed from a company with a bad reputation. The products will rot on the shelf rather than being sold and avoiding creating more food waste.

Nice big store in a convenient location. Parking lot is the wild west, especially as a pedestrian.

You can find everything here, prices are a little bit higher than walmart but it's fine.

You get what you need. Fresh produce as compared to other stores. You can check deals on Flipp app before visiting.

The amount of time you have to wait to checkout groceries is a joke. I was there one day at 6: 00 pm. 5 cashiers working and I counted 56 people in front on me. Clearly a cheap owner here. So if you have 2 hours to spare to buy groceries here is your store. I will never go back. Worst grocery store I have ever been too.

I am unable to access the electric shopping carts because they are either broken or the battery will not stay charged long enough to be able to do groceries. They are so old.

Love this Loblaws. They have a great kosher section for foods I grew up with that I can't find anywhere else.

Update Sept 2021

Be prepared for super long slow lines with a lack of cashiers. The self serve line is often backed up halfway to the other end of the store. We left after a while because of the slowness and it was crowded. The people ahead of us left too, and they had picked up a hot meal for dinner. Instead of waiting until it was cold, they put it on the shelf and we’re headed to Popeyes.

This is a big chain and a busy store. There is no reason they should not have floor employees back up when help is needed on cash

Typical Loblaws. The food counter is quite good, but prices in the store are generally higher than places like Walmart, Costco, Freshco. The day we were there, the lineups were long, and the Cashiers were few

Quite large. Anyone looking for kosher products, I would think they would be the best place. They have dedicated aisle for kosher products

One of the employees was following me and my children from aisle to aisle and looking at the children in a disgusting way. I spoke to the manager, but he didn't pay any attention to me. I should call the police not the manager.
It was today about 9: 30pm

Loblaws' College Square location appeals to a broad demographic. I find most everything I need.

Clean, always stocking fresh produce and everything else you could imagine that would live in your kitchen (plus cloths haha). Love the discounts you will ALWAYS find. The only exception is your new labeling system. It doesn't *jump out* like your old ones used to, especially the ones that shoppers drug mart used to have when I worked there throughout highschool. Just bam, in your face right away!

Great staff as well, always polite and ready to help! Keep it up guys/gals!

Loblaws Fried Chicken and mac n cheese and potato wedges are delicious and more affordable than other places. My go to when I want take out Fried Chicken! Thanks Loblaws!

Someone explain to me why the cashiers refuse to pack your bags unless they are the plastic at the cash. Considering we are to be plastic free at some point one would assume BYIB would be encouraged. Other grocery store's are happy to do it. Farm Boy and Metro for example. I am quite capable of doing myself but avoid using the self check out feeling that eventually these will take the place of people. Looking forward to hearing the excuses

The prices on all food product's are higher to compare with all large supermarkets. On the everything.
This is way i don't do my daily shopping at loblaws. I buy only milk eggs this is it.

Ok so I hate Galen Weston as much as the next guy. But I bought a pair of grey track pants at Joe Fresh that gave me back my mojo. Turns out it was the pants all along! I don't look middle aged it was the PANTS.

Clean. Spacious. Friendly staff. Easy checkout. All products that I was looking for were in stock.

The times I've gone it hasnt been super packed (2-5pm) which is nice, groceries are almost always there and the prices a great to.

One of the most well stocked and organized Loblaws in the city. Kosher section has probably the biggest and best assortment of products including it's own butcher.

Very clean! Great staff! Produce department knows what’s going on! Very happy to do my groceries here! Nice and early is the best to go!

Shop here once a week for work. Everyone Is so friendly and helpful.

Edit: Definitely changing my review from above. And only rating it one star because I had to.
Considering we are in a lock down; this location is not following safety measures. The capacity is far over the 25% allowed and there is no one at the one entrance to regulate how many people who are allowed in the store. It is as completely over crowded.

An employee started yelling at myself and my child for exiting the wrong door when there was almost no signage and no staff to inform shoppers to exit through one side. Very rude and inconsiderate.
My child was almost in tears from this experience.
The line was wrapped to the back of the store and almost no social distancing was in effect.

Alot of staff just standing around and talking, no social distancing within staff members. No one using sanitizer or cleaning the belts in between customers and allowing customers to come to the line before the next guest is done.

Will not return my business to this store. Very unfortunate because this was my store of choice.

Someone should really be investigating big box stores like this to see how the safety measures are not being held. Being front line and essential services I felt very uncomfortable with the lack of care shown in all regards today.

Purchased a cake from the bakery, and it was fantastic. The store itself is huge, and has most anything you need from a grocery store. Includes a Kosher section.

Bought at they take out counter fries were dried out an chicken had a weird taste weird cause we buy from there regularly service is always pretty good will try again

Layout may vary a bit from store to store. Would recomend as they are consistent and offer a wide variety of products.

Some of the staff are rude, I've actually never come across anyone as rude as staff at this store, what a horrible shopping experience, they could learn a lot from my home store Barrhaven Loblaws, staff there are very polite, they have class and manners unlike college square

Very slow cashiers and service. I think they are understaffed when it comes to cashiers. This Loblaws isn't as organized as the other branches. Staff isn't as helpful as you might expect when you are trying to find something. Not my favorite place for groceries at all.

Everything is always fresh here! The staff are friendly and the selection broad. If you're into penny-pinching, Loblaws isnt for you! For a one stop grocery experience head to Loblaws!

They have discount items all the time. I love the Baker and Joe fresh. I recommend loblaws for people. By the way in college square location they kosher section is very good as well.

It is open 24*7 apart from stat holidays. They sell beer and wine as well. You can find a Salon and a Tim Hortons in there as well

I can't stand it when they bag my produce. They need to train their staff better on how to handle them - weighing and bagging. I did my best picking the best fruits only for them to be bruised and mishandled at the cashier. I told her to please be careful, but she acted as if nothing happened. With the prices of items, you'll expect a better service. Self-checkout it is.

I do 80% of my groceries shopping here and we love it. Always clean well organized and great products and they price match! What's not to love

The QUALITY of products they provides is just AWESOME.

They also provide PC optimum cards which actually stores points in it.

I think it is bit costly than Wal-Mart but in terms of quality, it is the best grocery store.

MUST READ: they provide student discounts to students on every Tuesday as told to me by one of the cashier.

Expensive and lacking in checkout lanes and staff. Now that they have added self service lanes, the cashier availability has become horrific. 10 people in line, 1 cash open. Staff was asked to open another cash, and was told "sorry, we're too busy. Try the self serve cashier". I plainly looked at her and said "you are too busy to service your customers? " This place gets worse every time we come here. With Walmart across the street, it's an easy fix.

Ideal location and close to few other shops which can make this a one stop shopping destination. They almost always have everything you need at the store.

I was not a big fan of Loblaws for long time, this time I noticed that the quality and prices of products are very good. I literally found all the products that I was looking for. I think Loblaws will be on the top of my shopping destinations in the incoming period.

The quality of some of their products is generally good (e.g. Produce). However, the price is astronomically higher than nearby competitors. I generally see 'sales' here that are actually regular priced items (for the same product) at competitors. I rarely shop here as a result of the high prices.

Items usually in stock, cashiers are generally very pleasant. But. Expensive as heck. 24 hours, but don't expect anything useful after 11pm. "All cashes open" on the weekends within a certain time frame is a flat out lie. Pharmacists are lovely but some of the techs are dillholes. Overall good for necessities but will make you squirrely if it's your regular store.

Prices are pretty high lately compared to close by, competitive grocery stores. There's a few incredibly grouchy employees too (especially around the deli counter) that I've met recently. Lines are a problem, Ive done a walkout or two in the past few years

Not enough chases open, took longer to pay for 3 items than it needed to. Cashier also couldn’t look up flyer to get code for item. Don’t shop here if you want a quick in and out on your way home

This is the worst store I have ever been to. This store serves pork in every department and every work surface is filthy with haram materials.
