Felt like a small Italian eatery in Italy. Very cosy and lively setup. Marcos was great and so was the food. Would go back again.

AMAZING! I was taken to Lacanda for my birthday celebration with close friends. The wait staff were so welcoming, knowledgeable, and absolutely so kind. Our food was mouth-watering delicious. From the Gamberoni alla Diavola to the 14oz Ribeye cooked to perfection. Thank you for a memorable evening.

The food is excellent with a wide range of choices. The owner, John Franco was very personable and his staff were attentive to every request.

Came here for a dinner out with another couple. There were young children running around and yelling (at 8: 30pm) with their parents completely oblivious to it. The food was "ok". The calamari was very basic and bland. The sauce in the ricotta ravioli tasted like it was from a can. The service was rushed. We received the main course while people were still eating their starters. We all agreed that the best part of the entire meal was the drinks. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.

The food here is amazing. Celebrated my birthday dinner with their famous chicken parm. Their selection of wines is excellent. The owners are such nice people and make you feel very welcomed and the service is impeccable. Been a few times and always a five star.

We went out to celebrate a special birthday. The service is classy, Marco and his staff provided outstanding and very personalize service. The restaurant has a family oriented atmosphere. The food is authentic and delicious. I highly recommend Locanda!

We've eaten here many times and we're truly satisfied. Today however the restaurant over booked their dinner seating. We had a reservation as well 4 other tables at the same time. While we were waiting another couple arrived with a reservation for half an hour after us. They were seated ahead of us and the owner lied straight to our faces, even though we had a conversation with the couple. Is the food good yes, but I can not tolerate an owner that would lie to my face.
I will not be back.

Not one of my favorite visits. Food was lacking flavour and service was lacking attention. Didn't even have to opportunity to express my concerns about my food because I wasn't even asked.

Most recent visit didn’t have a great experience. Food was not like the first time I visit, very bland not much flavour. Service was lacking.

First visit, Small cosy restaurant, went with my husband on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t busy. Ordered 2 pasta dishes, they were not bad but lacking a little bit of flavour to my taste, the dishes were very simple. Service was excellent.

We made a reservation but the restaurant didn't seem to have any space, but in the fifteen minutes we were waiting, the fairly substantial smoke in the restaurant really started to bother me and we decided to leave. It's a shame since their food looked good and the ratings seemed good, but they definitely need an air purifier or something in there since it was pretty visibly smoky.

I have been to Locanda on many occasions now-whether a date night, family dinner, or birthday celebration. It's the first restaurant whose meat sauce is very similar to my mom's (yes we are Italian). Food is always great while Marco and his staff really go out of their way to welcome us and make us feel at home!

This is a great spot for amazing Italian food. Small place so the servers were always around. Portions were good so you were not leaving feeling sick. Prices were more than reasonable considering the current price of food. If you're in the area and want a good Italian dinner, highly recommend.

The hospitality is great. The staff are friendly and pay attention to detail. The food is authentic. That chef knows what he is doing. I had the Seafood pasta. Great flavours and cooked perfectly. I also tried a bite of the sea bass. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned well.
It’s very small and intimate. Great atmosphere.

Amazing food but very small restaurant which is very unfortunate. Tried to get reservations tonight doe my and my girlfriends one year as it was the first restaurant i took her too. I was greeted on the phone by a very unfriendly hostess that informed me I will not be able to come for 6 this was no problem but wasn't given any other options and not said in the friendliest way I asked if I could come earlier or later and they said 5 o'clock.it was already 430 sad to say I didn't get to visit and this experience left a bad taste in my mouth

Very nice place to have dinner with your significant other, family, friends, food is awesome and fresh, prices are worth for what you eat, plates are generous and portions are good!

Ordered take out. Picked up on time and brought straight home 5 minutes away, 10 minutes to the table. Never again. Calamari was like cartilage! The marlin steak was very bland, like hospital food, or like if beige was a flavour. The caesar salad with chicken had no chicken. The penne was alright. The chicken alfredo was garbage. Dry, bland, flavorless, not nearly enough alfrdo sauce. The one tiny potato was pretty good! Very Disappointing to spend good money here, but at least I know not to bother with this joint ever again. Terrible.

Nice little gem in heart of Milton, nice decor and music and large patio. Recommend a rez, we found this place by chance as our other spot was closed for the weekend.

The host is amazing, servers are quick and very pleasant.

The food, simple and delicious. My wife had the rigatoni ala parm wheel and I have the lobster ravioli which was stuffed well. Both dishes were great, good size portions with a wonderful silky rose sauce.
Thr bruchetta was authentic, simply delish as was the spring mix salad which had slice of fennel it in which was great for the taste buds.

We end with tiramisu, omg, never had one that was so decadent and light, perfect end to a great meal.

We will frequent this place, it has great food, great service, and the price point is great too; although you don't mind prices for a supreme experience.

Can't comment on the food, didn't get a chance to enter the restaurant. A chap came out and sternly asked us to move our vehicle from his property as he assumed we did not look like his typical clientele.
I'm sure the food is great, maybe we'll have to get it delivered. The Thai place next door was quite welcoming.

Is always pleasure to be here is like home to my family.always great service and the owners are very friendly and so polite with all customers. Thank you guys for giving us such and amazing food and warm hospitality.

I went here for my boyfriends graduation with his parents, they serve amazing food and have very friendly workers. We ordered their bruschetta and calamari as appetizers, the bruschetta was just average, however, the calamari was amazing. Additionally, boyfriends mom really enjoyed the wine menu. All of our dinners were delicious, and their homemade hot pepper oil dressing was a hit! The restaurant appeal is lovely, especially the outdoor part. The inside of the restaurant is a little dark, but overall I would highly recommend Locanda!

Love the food and atmosphere. Wait staff is uniformly great. If our server was busy with other tables, other servers would check on us. Great team and terrific menu. Will continue to dine there and recommend to others.

We had an event catered by Locanda and cannot recommend them enough. We received many compliments from guests on how delicious and authentic the food was. It was a fantastic experience.

Absolutely amazing Italian restaurant. Marco and Gianfranco are there to make sure you are well taken care of. The food is amazing. Will keep coming.

We came here specifically for the wheel of cheese pasta and it didn't disappoint. The owner make it for us himself. Simply delicious.

Amazing food. This place is very italy like so don't expect your chain restaurant overly cheezy or saucy pastas.
The Tiramisu and cappuccino were great too.

First time at Locanda and we were so impressed. The service was fantastic and the food was so fresh and delicious; piping hot as soon as it was brought out. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Great restaurant on wonderful Main Street Milton. Caring hospitality, kind and friendly owners and wait staff. I had the lobster fettuccine special OMG! Delish! Hubby had veal Parmesan that was so tender and flavourful! Truly made our evening! The church bells across the street chiming at 6 pm…a wonderful touch to our outdoor patio experience! Milton has a lot of wonderful restaurants and this one Locanda is a must.

Updated - The seafood pasta has improved a lot from my previous experience.also people are friendly even during busy times.

So sad to be writing this review when I genuinely loved this place. I order here frequently; whether it be on a Friday night, or cater out for an occasion. About a month ago, I ordered the pasta locanda for a relative that orders the same thing almost every time she goes here and I ordered the meatballs and spaghetti for myself. Once I reached my destination after picking up my meals, the pasta locanda was literally dry with no cheese or sauce. We order this all the time and it never comes like this. I called the restaurant to let them know and the owner simply said “thats how it comes all the time, next time order extra sauce on the side” …it wasn’t worth the argument but it’s just sad to know that was his response to a regular customer that supports his business. The meal ended up going to waste unfortunately. This is a place I refer to many of my friends and family members since I love supporting locally but I will not be doing that anymore. I’m very big on principle and customer service since being apart of a family that owns multiple businesses myself. Overall, This was just my personal experience, the food is obviously a hit or a miss. I will be taking my business elsewhere though.
