Best ice cream in the neighbourhood. Everybody loves it for a reason. I ordered the pistachio passion fruit flavours and it did not disappoint. Was absolutely scrumptious.
The critique commented by the individual listed as 'JP Rich’ appears to be unjustified. The baristas and employees consistently exceed typical expectations, and engaging in communication within the café environment is a deliberate operational strategy employed to enhance efficiency. If one finds discomfort in the café's ambiance that allows such interactions, it is always an option to seek alternative establishments. It is essential to commend the team for their exemplary efforts; this establishment has consistently provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, largely attributed to the amiable staff. I would like to express my gratitude for the cheerful service received, as well as the informative menu recommendations that have made my visits consistently enjoyable.
My tastebuds are offended for the Italians! We only had their sorbet, so maybe the gelato is better. They all tasted extremely artificial and way too sweet. The North American diabetic sweet, and you can’t taste the actual flavours of the ice cream.
They also use the trick of whipping the ice cream up for the visual aesthetic, but it actually just adds in more air. So really… you’re paying for sugar and air at this place.
We loved both the drinks and gelato at Lola’s! My wife ordered the Hazelnut Caramel Latte flavoured gelato and really enjoyed it. I’m usually not a fan of hazelnut gelato but this one had a great balance between hazelnut and caramel without being too sweet.
Some of the best gelato in Etobicoke. I would come here every day if I could. The location is incredible, the variety is incredible, the employees are super kind. One of the best gelato places in Toronto.
Superb coffee, delicious baked goods, gelato that I dream about in between visits, and the warmest, sweetest people serving it all up with smiles. Everyone needs to feel the love of a Lola's in their lives! Keep up the great work!
My go-to gelato spot in the city. Not only do they have a lot of flavours to choose from but they are constantly switching the flavour options up! Variety of vegan options as well. Definitely tastes homemade.
Don’t get the coffee here. It’s soooo bad. I asked for dark roast coffee and it was so watered down. I couldn’t drink it. I think it was the worst coffee ever. It’s supposed to be organic coffee but they serve it with conventional cream. Should consider serving organic dairy and non dairy mills. The pecan butter tart was overly sweet and so messy… it was falling apart.
Very nice gelatos although the selection of flavours is a bit limited. Nevertheless here are really nice delicious gelatos. Unfortunately closed afternoons in the weekends. Seriously, the area is prime for business and many clients wants your gelato. Do something.
They always are changing up the fun flavors of gelato, the staff is incredible and make wonderful cappuccinos. And the gelato is simply the best in the area.
The ice cream is mostly delicious. However when you ask for two flavours they serve you more of the least popular flavour. They should give equal scoops of the respective flavours you order. I also noticed they are stingy with their scoops. They had two servers on the day of my visit. One gave more than the other. When I complained they said. Oh and walked away. You should be consistent with the amount given. With so many ice cream parlors I would think twice before returning.
Authentic Gelato We come from downtown Toronto to Mimico only for this Gelato shop because it is truly authentic. When we told the owner this today he thought it is just out of complement but we truly do so. Staff are super nice. We always look for our next visit.
Amazing service and great gelato. Every time I come to the park for a walk and to enjoy the sun and water, I always end up getting a scoop of their gelato, especially their pistachio flavor.
Good coffee and service. It was super windy today and my full coffee blew over after setting it down! They made me another for free ️ They also have great icecream that they make in-house and tons of vegan options
Walked in and ignored by the staff as they then offered to assist the customer who came in after me. Triaging customers is a basic customer service skill. My first experience makes me never want to return.
In my experience there are very few places who know how to make a good mocha and this is one of them. Located near the Lake, it's the perfect spot to get your coffee before hitting the trail. I had my mocha in oat milk and was happy to see their collection of vegan gelato and sorbets. Will be back to try them! Wish they'll make some cookies vegan too.
They did not win the 2018 gelato festival for no reason. The selection is great and accommodating for those who unable to have dairy for whatever reason. The gelato textures and flavours are excellent. As mentioned by others, the service has always been friendly and courteous to me.
Best gelato I have tried in Canada I absolutely love it, creamy fresh and tasty, waffle cone is crunchy as it's supposed to be and they have a lot of delicious flavors, pistachio is one the best!
Best cappuccino and gelato in the area. I’m always greeted warmly, consistency is key for me when it comes to service and they always deliver. It’s my go to every single time and everyone I have recommended it to feels the exact same way.
So good fresh. Great flavours. Love the banana gelato! Almost didn’t know this was on Marine Parade but glad we found you. Would recommend you put some sort of A-frame signs or blade signs to get more visibility and awareness out to people visiting the lake
If I could put more then 5 stars I would. This is my favourite ice cream spot hands down. The gelato at Lola’s reminds me of the gelato in Europe. It is so tasty and full of flavour, the Ferraro Roche gelato has chucks of terror inside of it. The pistachio gelato has pieces of pistachio in it. It is the best gelato I have ever had, I am here at least once a week. The service is great as well, very polite and professional service. Will be back soon!
I've had gelato at every gelato place in downtown Toronto, Kingston, Waterloo, Niagara Falls but Lola's for some reason that I can't explain has the best taste I've encountered. I had the cookies and cream and Rocher flavours and it was honestly the best gelato that I've ever had.
Didn't like the sassy sea turtle gelato at all. Clumsy, smashed pieces of.were those supposed to be Turtles pieces? Just a boring tasting kind of chocolate, didn't remind me of Turtles at all, and the flavour profile of the whole thing was overly rich - there was like a cookie butter flavour running throughout it, yuck. The person behind the counter did say the flavour was salted caramel plus cookie spices, but I didn't know what that meant until I tried it. Asked if I could sample first before buying and was abruptly told no. Maybe they should start allowing samples, because I definitely wouldn't have ordered that if I'd known what it tasted like.
Lola’s never disappoints! Always a large selection of flavours and everything we’ve tried so far has been delicious. Personal favourites include the Lemon Sorbet and Sassy Sea Turtle! What’s also underrated is their coffee and iced coffee options, would definitely recommend for those that haven’t tried!
Very good gelato very friendly staff need to go back and try the key lime pie I only had a little scoop but it tasted fantastic. I had chocolate and hazelnut favoring was good definitely worth the try and then go for a walk by the lake.
My husband and I came here for the first time today. The place is well organized, and the girls who were serving me were nice. They don't have too much of a selection, however I had the hazelnut and the ferrero rocher and it was good. My husband didn't enjoy his very much as he had the mango and lemon. Just an FYI if you've come from far (in which we did), and you need to use their washroom its "staff only". I would come here again, if I were in the area to try something else.
We were so glad that Lola's Gelato was back open up. It is a great stop when walking in the Humber Bay Park area. The dark chocolate is a chocolate lovers dream. A good mix with the Sassy Sea Turtle. A flavour for everyone.
I wish I had not found out about this little gem in my neighbourhood. It is too hard to resist stopping in for a coffee or a gelato when I am nearby. Do yourself a favour and try their award-winning flavour Sassy Sea Turtle.so delicious.
This place is fantastic and the gelato even better all homemade and great flavours they even do homemade cookies and french pastries which are also to die for. Pity its a little out of the way, it deserves a busier location, but is now my go to!
Amazing amazing place. The gelato never disappoints, coffee is a treat, and I've had some of my favourite cookies from here. I'm impartial to a london fog (earl grey tea latte, vanilla syrup) and it's not on the menu but they always made a PERFECT one. I miss going here more often. <3
We’ve been here a few times and surprisingly we haven’t even tried the gelato yet! The coffee is REALLY good (especially the mocha) and they always have different pastries and desserts which are super delicious and way more affordable than other cafes. We get different pastries each time and we’re very impressed every time! Also, super friendly staff! There’s usually a line up but obviously because it’s such a good place!
The best gelato i had this pandemic ahhahah, we visited 5 this year and this is the winner! If u do ur research they have gelato awards. The best part of this place they sell Pint! Sooo i got some to take home?
Part of my morning routine - known for their Gelato, but they honestly have the best Americano in Toronto. Blown away by the flavour packed into a cup of coffee here! Owner is super friendly too:)
Excellent quality gelato and lattes! Their gelato taste so fresh and not over sweetened. There’s a new cafe along the lake that opened recently and they arent bad either but i prefer Lola’s more. They taste healthy! (less guilt trip)
Last night I bought a tub of an Amaretto gelato flavor and one Strawberry Yoghurt flavor. Just amazingly delicious and fully flavoured of what it should be: Being able to taste the amaretto and the strawberry yoghurt. Don't go anywhere else - just go to Lola's. Also, they sell now the cookie boxes with newly created and all-time favourite ones. I will order a few as they are truly a treat! And one more: Lola's offers now homemade glazed nuts in a cute packaging. Love it all, including the latte which is in my view the best and overriding any other fancy coffee shop.
Wow! Took a chance on this Gelato place and it was delicious. The Gelato was incredible, but what really made the experience incredible, was the service. The server, Falon was very sweet.:) 10/10 experience.
Easily one of the best gelato spots on the west side. The blood orange and pumpkin spice flavors are fantastic and the sassy sea turtle is worth a visit. Prices are excellent considering the quality.
Very nice cozy coffee bar and gelato /soft ice cream. Award winning sea salt choco flavour is quite good, but then again all the flavours are soo good. Seats about 6 to 8 on inside, but most go outside to enjoy it.
Very great Gelato, cute space, clean, amazing location, seat to sit out side, friendly service. Will be going back. Had their cheesecake gelato and loved it! Next time i defiantly want to try this turtle one they have. (unfortunately it was not filled in the display and was on the counter so i count see it: () Loved the M&M and marshmallow cookie to.
Gelato is amazing however the customer service is almost always horrible. They yell in your face rudely “2 testers and that’s all”. It is one thing not wanting to be used but another being cheap. The young blond girl is great though:)
Drove 30 mins to try this gelato because of the rave reviews. Arrived just after 8, and they had limited flavors- not even chocolate. When asked, we were told there was no more. We reluctantly ordered from the few flavors they had left and walked along the water. Returned 20 mins later and they were fully stocked! We should have been told they were getting more and we would have waited. Highly disappointed. We had the mango, it was meh. The vanilla was good. There was a few dairy free options which is nice to see.
