I have very worst experience with london hydro i am calling them regarding my new electricity instalment but they did not replied or taking calls and i am waiting from last month to continue my billing cycle but they did not do anything, even they did not take calls of there customer’s very disappointing

Firstly, please inform your customers when you need to turn off their hydro to change the meter.
Secondly, when the customer goes on camera and tells you not to turn electricity off they need to listen to the customer.
Listen to your customers! There is a reason why there electricity cannot be turned off at that time!
This company is so poorly run. They have cut back on employees intentionally so no one is available to discuss concerns.

Doesn’t even deserve one star. One month I get billed $80 the next month I get billed $200. I have asked several people no one gets billed over $60-80 a month this is ridiculous. Scam

This is the most frustrating company and especially web site one can possibly imagine. The unnecessary security questions are beyond any logical process. Impossible to easily register.for on line access. Don't waste your time trying to deal with it.

Lost power 2 days after the storm and they said they need another 24 hours for restore the power. My house is cold and my wife is scared now because of dark. The problem solve is too slow.

Horrible customer service. Can’t ever get through to anybody over the phone and it’s a ton of ridiculous hoops for electrical contractors to get anything done. They could take a page out of Alectra or NPEIs book…

While I do agree that costs, particularly delivery costs, are way too high for this service, I've found their customer service reps to be nothing be kind and patient. I spoke to a customer service rep about setting up hydro at a new unit and she was very kind and patient with this first-time customer!

The hydro cuts off all around the city Constantly day after day week after week month after month and we're supposed to be proud Canadians In an advanced technological age but London hydro doesn't seem to get the concept of what their job is keep the hydro on

Some 3rd world nations have better hydro than London Ontario so what the hell is going on? ! Where is out money going? !

We Get robbed with the hydro but at the end the hydro's not consistent

Hydro cuts out in old South once every other day which is pathetic for a Canadian city

Start doing your job people because you are replaceable.

Pandemic has shown us that bad employees are replaceable, so are bad companies and so are bad politicians like plastics!

A lot of people complain about the customer service being an issue, and I too have had issues while talking to someone on the phone. However, when the powerlines when down in front of our house in the wind storm two months ago, the London Hydro crews worked hard through the night to completely replace all 3 hydro poles and restore our power. They finished up around 5am. I am thankful for the crew that worked that night. They came through when we needed them.

Expensive. I dont understand how the price fluctuates so much. We were home every day in june and we were gone alot in july but some how the bill doubled in the span of a month. This happens more often. Causes anxiety to even read the bill not knowing what type of month it's going to be

Bunch of crooks, can't do an account transfer so they charge you $30 to open a new account at a place you already live simply to change a name. What a joke. You guys are a garbage utility company who prey on people who require a BASIC public utility. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I switched over to paperless billing after repeated requests from London Hydro. I have been trying to log onto my London Hydro account now for a week and the webpage won't load. Have tried on multiple devices to no avail.

Garbage rip off Business I used to have electric stove for ever and bill always was $120 to $130 switched to gas stove for 5 month now and bill didn't drop a dollar they don't calculate whet you use they just sent you a bill approximately

What a poor public utility. Gave no information or updates on their website during power outage in Winter and cannot reach anyone on the emergency number. This organisation needs to be privatized.

I had a great positive experience today when I called London Hydro. Last week I did an automatic bill payment from my bank account with intentions to pay my credit card. But I inadvertently selected London Hydro. I sent $1000 to London Hydro instead of to my credit card. I called my bank and they said there is nothing they could do. They asked me to call London Hydro. I called today and the front line employee said it will take upto 28th of this month for them to refund my money. I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor Brenda said the same, I asked for a Manager. She transferred me to the voice mail for Dan the customer service manager. Dani called me right back but his answer was the same. All the employees were willing to help but the policy stopped them. I asked Dan to transfer me to his senior manager. Dan promised to talk to the senior manager and get back to me. Dan called me back to confirm that he had received approval to refund my money by Thursday this week on the 14th. What I'm happy about, is they were all willing to escalate my concern to the next level and by doing this they found me a quick solution. I like how Dan talked to me politely and respectfully. He took time to review my account including reviewing my payment history since 2013. By doing this, he was confident that I'm a genuine customer. I like how he called me back each time. Thank you London Hydro team.

My review is for customer service.putting aside from my high bill rate and me being frustrated, I called in because I'm in school and searching for work and on a very small budget.the person that answered my phone call was very pleasant and helped me with my problems and referred me to all the low income services that help decrease my bill.after everything the person helping me treated me like a Human Being and this was the 2nd time I called in but this was my first issue so far.
I was frustrated and the London hydro employee on the phone assured me everything will be ok and talked me through it.if you read this thank you and God bless you.

For the second time now, I have been randomly charged a huge deposit. Over $250 the first time, and now almost $300 the second time. Over the next year I will be switching to a battery backed-up solar system with the plan of being entirely off grid.

I wish you guys had customer service reps working in the evenings and weekends, because I work 8: 00 am - 5: 00 pm Monday to Friday and with your hold times being 5 to 10 mins I cannot get a hold of anyone on my breaks or lunches. Also the fact that you are a monopoly means no ones care because its not like you will loss customers because they have no where else to go. I feel like this is the USSR and we only have one one option forced on us by the government and the employees who do pick up the lines sound like they are reading from a script and don't truly care or understand customer service. I know complaining on social media won't change anything but I am hoping more people will make nose and if maybe we go on strike as customers and stop paying our bills they might bake some changes so that we are not feeling like we are being used but are government and Hydro. And as an essential service you would think that they would make it more affordable for everyone to have access to it and not just giving the big companies the breaks on their hydro bill.

London Hydro. If I could give them no stars I would however that is not an option. Extremely poor customer service. Heavy handed tactics to collect a bill that is 2 days late when you've been a client for 50+ years? As a small business owner which is this city and country is built on.if I treated customers this way I would be out of business. Unfortunately for us there is no other options or competition so London Hydro can continue to treat people with disrespect and with horrible customer service. Wish we had options!
