Too loud to get anything done. Students in here making a mess, talking in groups of 20+ being extremely loud throughout the day. Cussing, yelling, it’s ridiculous.

I 100% second what Chandie has said. The teenagers after school 100% ruin it. The librarians encourage them to be there regardless of the yelling, screaming, running around, cussing, bullying, racism, discrimination, and harassment. They leave garbage everywhere and the librarians clean up after them like they're their maids. With all the food and garbage around I fear for the safety of my service dog.

I won't be returning to this location. I complained to staff about the noise etc. And all they did was say they'd ask them to quiet down a little. When I suggested removing them, the excuse was that there are a lot of teenagers and the staff are short handed to deal with them. When I suggested calling the police if the staff feel unsafe dealing with them, the reaction I received wasn't one that was in favor of that option.

I was put into a quiet room (two hour limit per day if not booked) as the solution. A few minutes later I had three of them come to the window of the room to start harassing me with sexual dances. When I went to complain a second time, the one who enjoys performing strip teases next to my dog decided to yell "why is that dog allowed in here anyways? I have a severe phobia of dogs! ". I turned around and said "what you are doing is discrimination. She is allowed in here by law as she is a service dog. The reason she is here is none of your business! ". I told the librarian they were harassing me and discriminating against me. They told me they'd remove them as they know exactly which ones did it without me even showing them or describing them. The staff know. The staff encourage it. The staff don't care. It's a none inclusive and unwelcoming environment. All those kids need to be trespassed. They're using it as a community centre with no rules and ruining it for everyone needing to use it as a library.

When I complained to library customer service, I was met with "we've been working with the local school educators and behavior has improved since last year". "Fortunately they come to the library as there aren't other places for them to go". Yeah they go there because they can do whatever they want without consequences or having to take responsibility for their actions. If you've read this far, don't go. It sucks. Staff didn't even apologize for the way I was treated. I especially won't return because I fear for my safety. I know if I go those kids will single me out and continue the harassment.

The after school teenage crowd ruins it 100%. They are never asked to leave or be quite, they yell, cuss, make a mess, and disrupt anything you want to do. Librarians and security need to address this but they don't, they welcome it. Out of all the libraries in London I've been to, this is the worst. Totally fine when school is in session though.

The lady there (karin) is very kind and approachable, easy to talk to, 10/10 experience.

Bad experience today. The washroom were closed and the notice says ask staff for access. When I asked someone in the staff for washroom access for my 4 year old kid, she said the library is closing and she cannot open the washroom. Seriously!

Been coming here for almost 30 years and it's still a great place to get books!

Nice library with a decent collection of adult fictions and children's books. Very friendly staff and service. A kids-friendly place and we can even watch them play.
