They gave me #2 copper when it was clearly bare bright because I took the exact same gage and type of wire to Specialized recycling and I was counted as bare bright wire.

Brought in a bunch of scrap and old appliances from around the house. Guys in the yard were great and friendly staff inside. Thanks London Salvage!

Don't know where to start. I have never brought steel/tin to them, only coppers and brass. Always paying top dollar in all Southwestern Ontario and it makes it worth your time to travel. In comparison to other yards I would rate them above in every aspect I have dealt with them in. Very professional, very friendly, and extremely time sensitive! Love it!

Always a pleasure to take material to London Salvage. We take different material and they have always been very helpful and fair on value. Its convenient and usually quick service. Hours of operation are helpful and we are happy the material is not ending up in land fills. Would like to thank the yard staff and cashier staff as they have always been great assistance.

I recently contacted London Salvage to book a waste disposal bin to be delivered for a fall house cleanout. It wouldn't fit to get it into our driveway (totally beyond their control) and instead of just leaving me to sort out the issue, they offered an alternate solution of me renting a cube van and bringing to them to dispose of which will actually save me alot of $ - Super service and will definitely recommend them to others!

We would never go again to this place.
Every time we felt that they did not pay us right but you have no argument because they are always right.
Today we did one load to London Salvage and one load to Rail City Recycling which happened to be only 40 lbs less then the first load but we got 61 $ more for same scrap metal.
It starts with going on the scale, you can see your weight in and out in Rail City Recycling and you receive a statement from the cash register.

Service is okay.some staff are rude and seemingly always miserable. Pricing is terrible. Treat you like you don't know the current spot prices. Paid $20 per OEM catalytic converter.when palladium and platinum are at all time highs. I suspect staff in precious metals warehouse and maybe the steel yard receive compensation to intentionally underbid/misprice metals and catalytic converters to make the company more money on the spread. Yard guys play games by mis-classifying steel types so they can get away with paying you less. Eg.heavy 1+ inch thick steel plate/I beams will be labelled as "sheet iron" which is one of the lowest paying grades of steel scrap. Overall they underbid on all your scrap or intentionally mis-classify it to pay out the lowest price. I've never dealt with them on industrial/large scale trade basis, i assume they don't treat their industrial customers like retards as they do the public/small guys. Overall, not worth going here unless you are an industrial trade customer.

I delivered a load with a tractor trailer to this location. It’s a small place to you all truckers need to be attentive.

I was lucky to show up first. It got busy after I was backed into the door. A truck had to wait on the street facing the entrance.

Staff are professional and respectful. Offloading was done in a timely manner. No complains.

Criminals here, watch the scale as they will write down a much lower number then what it is! Also when called out on it become very defensive and aggressive!
