Got a quote from this business for simple dry cleaning. Explained exactly what the issue was, the size and description of the article of clothing. Brought the item in to be charged over double what was quoted. Ended up forgetting to make it in to pick up before the deadline, which means after that point the item is forfeited to the business and it becomes their property. Yet this business keeps calling me off several different numbers, getting young children to even call and leave messages. This has gone on for OVER A YEAR now. We don’t even live in the city anymore for pick up, it’s way past the deadline, lost my paper required for pick up a long time ago, and legally it’s your property after a few months! Stop harassing me off all these different numbers. It’s like a bad EX - even though you’ve moved on, they are still caught up on you, calling you off other people’s phones like they arent conspicuous. Not sure why you think it’s professional to have kids do your bidding. There is no reason to keep contacting me at this point. You should know how long you legally have to hold onto the item before you’re entitled to it for yourself or for donate. It is no longer mine to pick up.

London Top Tailoring is by far the best tailor I have used in London. Hamid helped me out of an emergency situation with a suit jacket and pants. He seems like a genuinely nice person with an incredible work ethic. Would 100% recommend London Top Tailor to anyone who needs tailoring services.

I’m very disappointed because this tailor has such a strong reputation. I brought in my wedding skirt and blouse. The tailor fitted me on-site and was quite polite. However, when I returned, he had significantly tightened the long sleeves even though this wasn’t part of the alteration plan. The top was far too tight in the arms, and when I told him this he asked if I had “gained weight. ” He had to undo that alteration, but because the fabric is organza there’s now a line of empty stitches down both inner sleeves, some of which are already running. I said I was disappointed about this damage but he dismissed this, saying no one can see it anyway. The conversation was very frustrating: he argued that he alters wedding dresses all the time that are very expensive; he said the organza fabric is too hard to work with; he said that because he understands alterations, he had to tighten the sleeves (even though he hadn’t fitted me for this). When I argued that this can’t be true because he “undid” the alterations, he repeated that I didn’t understand tailoring. He also almost charged me for steaming even though he himself stated the organza fabric can’t be steamed. The attitude was very dismissive overall, and I won’t be returning.

Took me in right away and fixed the zipper of my leather jacket. Charged only $15 and get me going in 20 minutes. Thanks Hamid. 5 stars.

Hamid is amazing! I asked him to tailor my wedding dress and when I tried it on, it fit perfectly! He also cares a lot about providing excellent service. The wedding dress has beaded patterns all over it and he went the extra mile to ensure that all the beading was fixed as some parts appeared to be broken. He did what I asked for and more to ensure that I have an amazing dress for my wedding. Did not hesitate at all to give a good tip. Thank you!

When our suits for our wedding came from the shop we ordered them from they were an absolute disaster — with literally only one day before our wedding this place saved our skin by altering not one but two suits - heavily altering! - in the span of 48 hours. I picked my suit up from him the morning of the wedding! Absolutely fantastic business - can’t say enough.

I had a wonderful experience altering my dress just a week ago. The service was very friendly when I went in and they made sure I would be getting exactly what I asked for. But more than that it was done super fast because they realized how important speed was.

Highly recommend! Amazing tailoring. Had a few evening gowns taken it and shortened. They were completed very quickly and fit perfectly. We have also had other clothes altered and have always been very pleased. Dry cleaning is also done very well. Family-run business. They are incredibly nice and friendly. Cannot recommend enough.

I have been to several dry cleaning and alterations stores in the last several years and I can confidently say this is the best in terms of quality. One of the garments I got dry cleaned and altered was a thrifted skirt full of stains and huge in size - thanks to London Top Tailoring it no longer has any stains and it fits me perfectly!

This is my story, I won’t come here any more!
I brought a pair of a shoes and a jacket here but the owner did a very bad job cleaning my shoes, basically damaged her shoes. And the owner said if I can find a place clean it better than him, he will give back my stuff for free and give me extra $100. I did find a place doing better job than this shop. When I came back, the owner didn't admit his word anymore and still wanted to charge me the jacket. Very bad attitude and poor service. Horrible place and be careful if you come here. Worst place ever. I cannot believe this kind of place with high reviews. Ridiculous! ! ! Here are the photo after cleaning, if u were me, what do u feel when u received shoes like this,? I am so disappointed with the service they provided. I cannot wear the shoes anymore because of this place!

Had a last minute alteration on my pants needed, and was able to pick them up within an hour of dropping off. Great service and the pants look great.

The store really did live up to its reputation! Honestly, when I took my dress in I didn't expect much because i saw it as a hopeless case. But the tailor took my awful dress, literally took it apart, and turned it into exactly how I imagined it. The dress took so much time and hard work and I'm so happy he agreed to do it because i know most stores wouldn't even want to approach a project like this. 110% would recommend! Very professional, very good service, and very honest and upfront! London Top Tailoring did not disappoint!

This place is great! I came in with a ball gown that was way too tight around the torso. I had a bit of extra fabric that was taken off the bottom of the dress, so it was used to make the midsection a little wider for me. The dress fits perfect now and you can’t even tell it was altered! As well, I was on a time crunch, and the dress was ready in less than 2 weeks which was very convenient.
Customer service is super friendly and kind! I will definitely be going here again. 100% recommend going here
