Newer and larger L&M location right off Princess Str. Good selection of Taylor, Martin, Gibson, Epiphone, Godan (S&P & Seagull), plus a decent selection of sub $500 models. The electric area has Gibson, Fender, Epiphone (lots), PRS and Godans. Small drum, wind and brass selection. Good selection of recording equipment. Their rental department is excellent. I found the staff to be very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help.

Go to the Belleville long and mcquade you will have a much easier time. Paul is great otherwise don't bother with most employees here. It's looking like Arden's for me now though.

You get told one thing and then they can't hold up there end of the bargain. Very disappointed and I think I will be going to Arden's now.

Went in to shop for a bass guitar and amp. Spent 25 minutes being ignored. Instead I went home and placed an online order for pick up.turns out their inventory was wrong and they didn't even have what I paid for. Guy on the phone offered to order it in, great, finally someone helpful. When the time came to pick up my order I waited for 15 minutes to talk to someone about gathering my items. He said no problem and then disappeared for another 15 minutes before finally coming back stating my items 'weren't where they should be so he just grabbed me another one. ' No sign of life. No sign of brain cells. Hands down worst customer service I've experienced in a long time, I wouldn't even recommend L&M to my enemies.

Tops the charts in customer service. I have been to many music shops
in my time and L&M are the best I have ever experienced. Thanks for all your help and knowledge when purchasing guitars.

3 weeks to set up a guitar that I end up picking up with no work done to it? Took 3 phone calls and an in person visit to get a price on setup+a bit of fret work? No thanks.

Bought a used guitar at Black Friday sale at a steel price earlier in Dec. Realized after the fact there was a crack in the neck that nobody detected (Long&mcquade staff, myself etc honest mistake) yesterday I noticed the issue and sent an email to the store which they replied very quickly. They offer to take the instrument back and we swapped it with another one all that on the same day no questions asked.

We will do business with L&M again soon. Tks!

Bought a couple guitars @ L&M in Kingston and one I just couldn't bond with so I returned it. I could not be happier with how I was treated, in fact every time I've been there has been a positive experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend

Made the trip yesterday to get a Boss footswitch for my amp. Checked with the salesperson that it would be compatible and it wasn't. Returned today to exhange for the right device, asked the sales person if id need any special cables and was told no. This is the second time ive gotten home with a piece of gear I cant use. The friendly service is great if they actually helped properly. Now I have to make a third trip to town to get the right cable. I will be going to ardens music instead

I've been buying from Long & McQuade stores for 20 years and never had a problem. After moving to the Kingston area a few years ago I started buying from Kingston store and it's the same. Great service, amazing selection and
helpful staff. Always a pleasure!

Bought a bass for my grandson.
This is a dangerous store for me to go in - I always come out with something.but that isn't a bad thing

Rentals are priced well and very convenient. Staff is also friendly and helpful with any questions!

By far the the best customer service I've seen in any Music store. But this went all the way back when the core team was at Renaissance, the additions to the team do not disappoint, ever. Only complaint is that Nate needs to order more cowbells for the new store. Nate you should know this.always more cowbell.

Btw.cant wait to see the future clinics, you have way more room for activities now!

Been dealing with these folks prior to, Long and McQuade this Store over, in Kingston. Their friendly, expertise and knowledge of musical Instruments are second to none. But what truly stands out from every other Music Store I have visited from Toronto to Ottawa, is their concern for each Customer that walks thru their front doors. They have consistently displayed on each of my visits, a genuine interest of how my previous purchase is working out for me. Without failing, their Staff will always have a warm smile.

Great place, I really enjoy going there and talking to the staff and playing there guitars. Great honest people I had an issue with a repair and within the hour I was told to bring my guitar back and it was resolved 10/10 best music store in kingston.

The staff at this location is very helpful. They have some excellent instruments. The one con I would say is that the store is a bit cluttered.
