I just had the best experience at this store. I had a problem with. Three thousand dollar previously owned guitar and I was given a full refund. I am going back and buying my next guitar here. The staff here are wonderful and very professional. Can’t say enough good things about my experience.

Shopped for some audio equipment, found what I wanted, and went to cash out.

There were 5 staff on the floor, three at different counters. 2 others "assisting" the primary staff.

I had been clearly standing at the cash to pay for the products, and nobody said anything, just buzzed around busily. No acknowledgement. I waited patiently for about 7 minutes. Finally I left the products and walked out the door.

I won't return here.

I'd rather wait for delivery, or visit another branch.

(Busy enough, they won't miss me.)

I love how the associates are professional and reliable. I dropped my dj controller for diagnosis and repair, and they keep updating me about every step of the process. They also keep me posted regarding the fees, timeline, and the due process.
I sincerely and am extremely satisfied with this location's amazing job.

Horrible service by Bill Gelaspie and the oshawa location. I ordered something a year ago. Months after I received a call saying it had arrived. Upon arrival to their location. They say they sold it to someone else. So they ordered it again and never called me for months and now when I call they said we sent the item back because I did pick up my call but Bill called the wrong number. My number in my file is the same as I go to rent. Not only they sent it back. They took my deposit and said we used it for stocking purposes and said how it will be hard to get my deposit back. This is such a bad service and horrible location. Very disappointed. Do better.

It is what every music shop should be. Easy going, non-intrusive, very knowledgeable and helful sales staff. Good selection of instruments as well.

Very disappointing experience. I decided to get an acoustic guitar after 30+ years since I last played. I told this to the salesman, and he points to all the guitars and says that all of the guitars they carry are good. When I asked about the difference between the Yamaha FG 800 series. He said that they all sound the same but come in different colours? The salesman didn’t seem to be interested in take me seriously.

Big shout out to John Bradley, repair specialist. He goes above and beyond to make things right. 5 stars to you John.

I'm sharing my experience at long and mcquade oshawa. I went in and purchased a Jackson JS 11.they did not have it in stock, so Matt called the Markham store. Matt went out of his way, to put a hold on it for me, until I could get to Scarborough the next day.
Matt was very helpful.and I want to thank k Matt, and the entire store.thank you for your help and time.

Wow I’m kinda lost for words. I ask to see a certain model guitar.salesperson said I’ll look for the right one 35 mins goes by and he’s chatting with another salesperson and still no guitar then he helped out 3 other customers… I was about too buy a guitar today! I’ll look for a different store!

We have gone to Long & McQuade for probably almost 20 years. They provide great quality and selections for instruments and music. We came with the details of our cello and easily got replacement strings. Their staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and approchable. We've also used them many times for renting DJ equipment. They've always given great insite as to what we would need for the different sized venues and helped us get the right equipment for our event. We've rented different instruments for a month or two to investigate if we liked that instrument before investing init. We've purched ukuleles and a digital piano. All high quality for a great price. I heard that they have teachers available as well that you can sign up to learn how to play different instruments.

My dad brought me here, to his music store, when I was younger. Now I bring my kid here too! This is a great place for pretty much all things musical. Great parusing atmosphere and a fantastic staff! Go ahead, check them out!

I had a rental with them last day for a small gig. Couple of Powered Speakers, Mixer, Mics and the accessories. Unfortunately, I had two cables missing.

Got an amazing deal for a microphone here! I usually shop at the Pickering location, but now I know both stores have amazing customer service!
