Most companies "say" they want you to be happy with your purchase, Long and mcquade really mean it. Ive never had a bad experience when dealing with employees.customer care is paramount. Customer care is the reason you should buy your guitar from L and M instead of amazon.

I just bought a butterscotch telecaster from here. All the employees provided some serious sage wisdom to get the guitar setup just how I wanted it.

Great Selection of instruments, and supplies, and excellent knowledgeable staff to help you.

Selection is average as far as L&M goes. Bit of this, bit of that. Some good used finds if you happen to catch them. Hours aren't great. L&M has rules of formality and dress for the workers which are out of date.

I rented a ukulele to play at my grandmas grave. Despite being a grown woman with wrinkles and grey hair who owns my own home and has valid ID and cc…I needed to put my Aunty’s phone number down in order to be given permission to rent. My family and I all had a good laugh at how ridiculous it was that I could buy a plane ticket, rent a car and a hotel room on my own costing thousands but in order to rent a $140 ukulele for $13 I needed to provide my Aunty’s info. I’ve never had any issues at my local L&M, this was a super strange experience.

Been buying most of my gear since a while in that store. Very happy and satisfied. Go to Ryan, he is a really nice guy and knows all about guitars and bass. He gave me very good hints and recommendations will stick to that store for sure

Finding a competent fingerstyle instructor is a challenge. They have two!

I like their online order service, pickup in store. It’s easy and they have the best pricing on accessories and stuff like that which would cost a lot more if ordered online from other retailers. I usually get my parts and such from L&M, especially when I need quality branded stuff.
