Longo's Bathurst

I used to be a client of this store due to quality of products, customer service and nice environment.
All this - gone. I'm trying to avoid buying from this store. Many times they lack basic staff, so it is not worth coming

Always love this place. Very clean and a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. Amazing baked goods.especially the canoli! Pistachio canoli is my absolute favorite! Friendly cashiers too.

Their flowers section is an absolute garbage. I got 12 roses from there and they didn’t even pack them to represent it. It’s better if they have recycling department instead of flowers. Disgrace service never to buy any thing from there.

In the beginning, I’m very grateful to have such a great team @ Longo’s (Bathurst) Bakery Department to care so much about me and my dignity of my contributions to the community.

Recently, I have just ordered both a confirmation cake and my birthday cake from the wonderful Carmela and her team of cake decorators. She has great attention to detail, organized, enthusiastic, and understood my request (s) to heart, and got started to finish the cakes to fulfillment.

When we got to pick it up this week, it can already tell that they achieved excellence on both cakes that has a church and personalized Disney theme, respectively!

We all loved the results of its taste and texture of the cakes and wanted to give a huge shoutout to the invaluable service and contributions of the Longo’s Bakery Department team!

The produce is always good when it's not sold out. The pizza is amazing on its sale day. They also offer lots of prepared food as well as prepped food (you cook). There seems to always be a line at checkout, they manage cash registers poorly. You do pay more here so you be the judge if it's worth it. Three cashes open, the line is 6+ deep for all, the self checkout is 8 deep. Maybe avoid Sunday afternoon.

Store content is fine but does this location go out of their way to hire the most miserable service staff? Deli, hot food - bad attitudes and I feel like I"m bothering them for service. A special thanks to the lady who gave me a day old pepperoni slice with curdled cheese and burnt crumbs from the oven.

Guys, it is just common banch of stuff, but Longos simply made it expensive. I could really buy that all in NoFrills, without spending a few more dollars for LONGOS name in my cheque.

Like their salads. Fresh and clean every single time I buy!
Believe they were all prepared in house right at that location.

This Longos has big bakery with lots of selections. We went to order a Birthday cake. It needs to be ordered a week prior to the due date.
Unfortunately on the day of pick up cake wasn't ready. They seemed forgot my order. But thankfully they had base of the cake and it was a simple decorations that they were managed to complete my order in 15minutes.
Cake was good but cream on the outside was too sweet but it's not bad.
The decoratiing staffs are nice and good at their skills. I've seen few cakes that were amazing.
After all it was good experience and I will try some others stuff in the future.

Overall, a solid upscalish grocery store at Rutherford and Bathurst. It's a very busy plaza with lots of other shops, drive carefully, the spots are tight and quickly contested. Friendly service, very clean and well kept, although lamb selection was not as well presented as other meats (lots of veal, for example). Has a Starbucks onsite.

Don't ever go there for buying flowers.
Expensive, limited selection, and more importantly, I had to pay $10 for fancy decoration and the result was the worst decorating I have ever saw. I was ready to pay $10 again to get rid of it.

I wanted to order food at 7: 25pm the kitchen manager literally laughed at me. She said they are CLOSED. Very bad customer service, if you are person of color, please be warned. There is no respect.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves. To the management staff providing customer service training is an essential part of the Job.

Delicious cakes and fresh pastries with so many endless choices. Excellent customer service from Michael in bakery. He’s always friendly, provided quick service, and has given great cake recommendations for my family events. This is my favourite Longos, so a big thank you to Michael.

I bought 2 fish trays 3 weeks ago from them and found worm in there. It was disgusting & I threw out both packages. I e-mailed their customer care with these pictures for a refund & still no response. Very disappointed!

The grocery is AMAZING and fresh here. You would think the food won’t be as good as their not a restaurant. But i once got a pizza here and i was shocked

This is my favorite Longo's location. It's a big spacious store the produce looks great they have an unbelievably good Deli counter as well. The staff are always genuinely nice and appear to care. I would highly recommend this location for all your grocery and Catering needs.

Lots of cashiers and staff in the store. Lots of people buying St. Valentine's day flower at 4pm. Good thing they have lots of flowers

Used to be more customer pickup parking spaces but they reduced them to 2 and there is no space to park.

This particular Longo's store (Bathurst) is one of my favourite grocery stores to visit. It is always clean, properly staffed, well organized and has great specialized areas within such as a hot table, deli counter, pizza oven, freshly prepared sushi, Starbucks, bakery, freshly roasted / ground coffee, seafood and meat counters. The food selection is always fresh and extensive. I really like how they transition the store through various holidays / seasons (Easter, Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas). The store is well run and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I was recently in this store a little before closing to pick up a birthday cake for my son. The staff you had working that evening were very pleasant and well mannered.
I just thought that they do deserve a shout out, as they probably don’t get that many people rating those employees.
Oh and by the way the cake was awesome as well

Overpriced. Fruits and vegetables are not fresh and things feel so processed and fake. At least if you are going to charge a lot provide the best quality produce. Don't refrigerate your fruits and sell tasteless items.

Store is very nice BUT sadly cannot the say the same about the staff. Watch out for items scanned at the till together (in bulk) at higher priced items! Customer service reps are least interested in customers and take no ownership of their own mistake (s).

The best shop in the area. The quality of food, ambience and very attentive stuff. Fruits, veggies, seafood and meat is very fresh and high quality. I often shop with 3 kids under the age of 6 and we always feel very welcome. Having Starbucks and outdoor seating makes the whole experience just brilliant.

I enjoy shopping here - friendly staff and clean environment. I appreciate that they ensure there is no bad fruits or produce on display.

I am a Walmart regular. I am usually accustomed to the yelling and screaming of the regular shopper. But, the standards in here, immaculate. The selection, vast. The price.high. But that's what you pay when you step out of your tax bracket.

One of my preferred options for a grocery shopping. Well organized, huge verity of food products, fresh and healthy options and nice atmosphere and design.

Clean, well-organized store with incredible produce. Prices can be steep but some items are worth paying more for.

I shop alot from this location. I had a very bad experience with a lady called Josie in the flower department. After waiting about 10 min she showed up and was very rude and unprofessional, and even was raising her voice and treated a senior lady who was asking a question the same. I end up completing my order by Julie who was very nice and helpful at the customer service. We need more calm and relax people around who can provide better customer service.

I have been a loyal customer for many years but today I was very disappointed with the hot food department. First the Persian lady who served me was very rude. I read other reviews about her Second the lasagna had a very sour taste to it when we had it for lunch. I’m not sure if it was the cheese or tomato sauce. But this was a very bad experience. I would like to take these to the manager.

Shopping experience was nice but the turkey dinner we ordered for Thanksgiving was absolutely terrible. The bird tasted like it had be frozen for months. Very disappointed.

Most convenient grocery store for me since I live nearby. Store is following Public Health Recommendations for PPE protocol. Store is kept clean and tidy at all times. There is abundance of supplies. Prepared foods taste amazingly delicious. Staff are super friendly despite what other people say. Definitely my kind of store.

This store is always clean and has the freshest produce. Produce purchased here lasts up to a week longer in the fridge than same items purchased elsewhere. Excellent customer service. Regarding those posting negative comments regarding masks and checkout distancing: Good for you Longo's.you won't let customers bully you into relaxing the rules to stop spread of covid. If customers don't want to wear masks or or distance at the checkout, they are free to use your online shopping and free pickup which you so generously offer. Unfortunately, many people only think of themselves instead of the greater good.
Thank you Longo's also for being one of the first to insist on masks, and also your transparency in you online updates. Great store.

Bakery review: WOW! I normally wouldn't think to call a cake order into a grocery store bakery but I was in a tight spot and needed something. The woman that answered the phone was incredible, enthusiastic, and genuinely seemed to care about what I wanted for my daughters 3rd bday cake. The result exceeded my expectation, and it tasted amazing, comparable to something I've paid 2-3x more for. So pleased to have found this bakery, and the manager of the department it seems. Great experience and I look forward to my next order. See you around october 9th for my wife's cake! Richmond Hills cake boss!

Always top quality products, meats and fish in particular. A little more expensive, but not much and worth it.

Very disappointed, I frequently shop at longo’s and usually I am very happy with my experience. Today at longos, I took my daughter to order a cake for her Saturday birthday and was told NO. The girl in the bakery department was rude, offered no alternative. But making me stand and wait there with my 2 kids as 5 ladies stand around to be told no, is unacceptable. I ordered a cake at a other longos location but I’m very disappointed with the customer service at bathurst and rutherford.

Very disappointing. There were no directional arrows. You could walk wherever you wanted except for checkout.

I was not allowed in by the manager in spite of a medical exemption for not wearing a mask. My oxygen levels drop too quickly. The plastic face protector didn't fit. I explained the law, but was told that: First, he could not confirm that my medical exemption was legitimate, and that Longos was private property and so they could set whatever policy the saw fit. I explained that this was against the law, and was told sorry.so, I had to leave. DON'T BOTHER GOING THERE IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL EXEMPTION.

I have tried many bars some good some not so good. These midday bars are outstanding. I feel guilty eating one thinking it’s a chocolate bar. When I am out I take one in my purse and it’s a wonderful midday snack that keeps me full. Worth trying them.

This used to be my go to grocery store before Covid on a daily basis. The experience to shop here is now really disappointing. Of all the grocery stores in the area I enjoyed here the least. After the mask requirements, temp checks, and well over 6 feet distancing you are still not allowed to load the conveyor belt with groceries if the customer in front (6 feet+ away) hasn’t left the payment area. This adds so much extra wasted time in between customers. There were only two or three cashiers open for non express lanes (mine was unfriendly to say the least). No self check out either. I noted there are a lot less people shopping here too and after chatting with people in the area they all agreed they did not enjoy shopping here either. I will be going to other places around instead particularly Highland farms where the experience is enjoyable and all the cashiers are way more friendlier (and there are more of them too).

What is the idea of a guard touching everybody with this thing when you just want to buy something? Is he a doctor? Or is longos just spreading germs around? Give me a break

Service tonight was awful. At a time like this I would think people would reach out and care more for one another. Instead, staff acted ignorantly and without care for customers, even a senior. Online hours state the store is open until 9 but it closed at 8. Staff were outside just talking and were happy to let customers keep shopping for plants outside for a long time before making it clear the store is closed. Longos: please make sure your online hours reflect the actual hours open particular during these unstable times.

I did not have a good experience. This is the first Longo's I visited after moving to Richmondhill. The lady at the cash was not nice at all. She kept wanting us to hurry up and pay. I was with my two kids and they were not causing any trouble. Will not be shopping here again!

This is a great store, clean, great variety and friendly staff. The prices are higher then other supermarkets.
There is a Children's Wish Box there to drop off donations.

This Longo's location has spacious parking lot which makes it easy to access. Longo's Bakery is pretty good.

This is our first time to visit this branded supermarket, though it is near our home. What impressed us is that the venue is spacious and clean with good decoration. Everything is well packed, categorized and put into the shelves. Most important, the food (especially the fruits) is fresh and there are numerous choices for customers. Even by looking at their appearances, you cannot resist the temptation of buying them. However, it seems that most of the items are sold with relatively higher prices than those of other supermarkets. Anyway, it worths for us to pay more for products with good or higher quality. On the other hand, we find several food stalls inside and decide to lunch there. To our disappointment, the pizzas and the sandwiches which we buy are not as good as expected.

We visited the store on Thursday Jan 16th 2020 to order a Birthday cake. The person in charge of the bakery was very rude and was more concerned about missing her lunch break then helping the customer. She was in all black baker wear and looked more like a witch then a chef.
She should only be baking in the back away from all the customers who always have questions and requests.

The floral dept at the Bathurst and Rutherford store refuses to wrap the holiday flowers I was buying there. Which I don’t understand, considering that’s their job. Now I’ve got to go home and do it myself since their staff won’t!

When in season, you can consistently bank on purchasing certified "1-peeler" clementines here. For Clementine amateurs reading this, a 1-peeler Clementine is usually the sign of a Clementine of optimal juiciness and sweetness, where the odds of encountering a seed are next to zero, and the sound of separating the individual clementine slices will remind you of a cool summer breeze. The 1-peeler of course, makes reference to the relatively simple effort required to systematically peel the clementine in one piece in a spiral pattern. It is normal to expect some penetration damage to the 1-peeler clementine when your finger nail initially punches through the peel to begin the peeling process.

There is a lady (maybe in her late 50s, early 60s) in the salad bar that is terrible. Kind of dark reddish hair/ dark brownish, but, she is horrible. I won't be shopping during my lunch here EVER again. If you don't like your job, get another one. Shame on you. You're old enough to know better.

Very rude middle-aged women at the salad bar is miserable. She handles food without gloves and I called her on it. Won't be getting my salad there ever again. If you're so mad at the world, just find something else to do. Don't take it out on customers. You're old enough to KNOW better!

The "lady" at the salad bar is very rude. I often go there on my lunch hour At least 4 times a week (I work 5 days). She has dark hair. She is not professional. She picked up a tomato from the floor and put it back on the other tomatoes. Yikes! She then touched the food without gloves! I politely told her about it, but, she ignored me and went about her day. If this is what she does when I was watching, what do they do, when we're not watching? I now go over to the cafe across Longos to get my lunch. Never again. This lady (in her late 50's or 60's, looks middle eastern, with dark hair) should be fired! She's awful and extremely rude. Such a shame!
