Longo's Bayview

No organic basil today they seem to have switched to conventional, so I may have to change stores.

Akkash was terrific this morning. He was working customer service, noticed check out lines getting busy, immediately jumped onto #7, and helped out the situation. Thank you Akkash for your positive friendly service first thing Sunday morning.

Well stocked store with lot of choices for fruit, vegetables, meet, fish, lobster, lot of specials.

In store pizza has been really good always. But last night, the quality was really bad. Thin as a Mexican tortilla, little cheese and bad quality. It was too late to come back from home and returning it. I might try once more, but if they have changed the recipe/materials, I might go back to chain stores around this Bayview location. Based on what I got last night, I'm a disappointed customer.

Good service and staff. A bit overpriced. Decor a bit aged and not as nice as other Longo's, but an OK choice as a neighborhood store.

Consistent quality and freshness of their produce. Cleanliness and safety as well. Staff is always helpful.

Clean, cozy grocery store with the loveliest bakery featuring many mini Italian desserts! My personal favorite is their mini zeppole!

I love shopping at Longo's on Bayview and Laureleaf. I lived in Thornhill for almost 30years. I really appreciate having this wonderful supermarket close by. I love all the fresh produce, and the deli section and the fantastic bakery section too. We always get our cheesecake from here. The most amazing part of this supermarket is the employes that work here. Almost all of the people who work here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Among the wonderful people here, there is one very special lady name
Yelena Maslatsova. As long as I can remember, Yelena has always been super friendly and always so kind. She always greet you with a smile and will ask you if everything was good and if I have everything I need. She is patient if I'm trying to find my points membership card, and waits for me with a smile. Thank you Longos for having such wonderful people work here. The employees make all the difference when it comes to people wanting to come back always. Best place ever. Best people work here!

Highly recommend this locations bakery options. I was disappointed by Longos Weston & Maple so I drive the extra few minutes to Longos Bayview.

Behzad is one of the cashiers who is always kind and has a smile on his face and is very welcoming. I thank Behzad and I appreciate him.

I loved how the store was clean and tidy and how nicely all merchandises were sitting on the shelves. Great customer service, the staff were very polite and welcoming. Beautiful flower section and a lovely bakery.

Nice place to get groceries - good quality produce, store is clean, and staff are generally helpful. I would have preferred if they didn't pack items eaten fresh with the raw meat. They also cut my roast incorrectly because the guy at the meat counter did not know the conversion between pounds and kgs.

Fruits are always well stocked and they are fresh and in good condition. Also things are well spaced out for less crowding which i prefer!

I’m very happy and impressed by Sharon from the bakery department. Had 2 bday cakes ordered for my child’s 8th & 9th bday with customized ideas. They were delivered with total care and love (I would say). Sharon is very creative, patient & thoughtful. Would highly recommend and will be going back again for many more occasions!

I visited store on Saturday 14th of March 2020. Super clean, super welcoming and great selection of foods. Cashier Shabnam is extremely caring about clients. Thank you so much making line move quickly and fast, friendly way keep up the good work.

The meats and produces are always fresh. Clean and well organized store, Staff in different positions are very nice and helpful.

I'm so impressed with my daughters birthday cake. The Longos staff are extremely helpful and made a cake everyone loved. I will definitely be getting my kids cake here from now on.

This weekend I walked in the Longo's Bayview as a first time customer, I have to say, I was really impressed on how friendly and helpful the staff was. I am a regular shopper at Longo's, this one is particularly well organized and clean, which is important to me. The employees are clearly subject matter experts in each their areas. What stood out the most to me was the meat and fish counter presentations. When you pass by the meat counter, there is a gentlemen there by the name of Dwayne, let him know what you are planning, this guy really knows his stuff, he'll even walk you through the process of preparing and cooking your steaks. I do have a Longo's slightly closer to my home, however I am switching stores, these guys are a cut above the rest!

Worked here in the meat department a few years ago. They fired me because I didn't show up for one day that I gave them a well in advance notice for. No warnings, straight to termination. So here is a little insider info. They peel off the tags on all the hot dogs that are expiring and wash or grind them to give the patina of freshness. Then they generate new tags for them. Did it with whole chicken as well. Store managers were terrible people. I think they were two fat brothers. It was a terrible place to work. I am one of the hardest workers everywhere I go so there is really no excuse for the belligerent conduct towards me.

I'm a regular customer at Longos on bayview, food always fresh, friendly staff and the meal prep section serve delicious meal to go. The place look very clean. A must!

Our favourite grocery store; excellent choices and fresh quality foods. They have a delicious hot bar with different dinner choices.

I am an event planner and had a major cake emergency.went to two other longos and they refuse to help. This was my last shot and then I met Sharon. She saved the day, she worked with me and we came up with a solution for my client. My client ended up getting everything she wanted without evening knowing the issues that had occurred. Thank you, sharon, so much for your amazing customer service. You are a very talented person and this Longos is very lucky to have someone who goes above and beyond what is expected and delivers great service.

Dont buy fruits from here, either not ripe or rotten. Specially melons and watermelons.best to find a fruit market for that

Longos quality is great but this location is more sun down than the rest, and the prices are a bit higher (Hagan daz $7.29 vs 6.99 other loactions) but the staff are as friendly and courteous as other locations

Great selection of food and groceries. Usually plenty of free parking. Great service. Prepared sushi, pasta and quiches.

Quality produce and meat. The cashier who served me needed more training in bagging the meat packages. She just tried to "shuffle" all my meat in one bag, did not care to pile them nicely - disappointing.

Produce selection and variety of baked goods and sweets are excellent. Service is always friendly and helpful.

We shop regularly at this location and are always impressed by the customer service and quality of food. We recently ordered a few items from the catering menu and a cake for our son's birthday - all of which exceeded our expectations. I want to especially thank Sharon in the bakery who made sure the cake turned out as imagined (I unknowingly ordered the wrong number of layers and she was able to fix it quickly when I arrived for pick-up, saving the day). One grateful customer!

This is a smaller Longo's store but is well organized and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Love their pastry and cakes, overall quality of food is better more upscale. If you're looking for Food Basic or No Frills prices this is not the place
