Normally I like this store. They are a little over priced, but the atmosphere and staff are pretty nice. But tonight I came in at 5: 30 pm on a Monday and they had one cashier on. Big line for him and the self checkouts. Attn: management: stop driving people to your ridiculous machines and put some staff on. Preferring Fortinos these days because they are better for this.

One star because of the self-checkout system. Compared to any other grocery store in Oakville, this system is a farce. Today I was told if my knee touches the side of the surface to put one's purchase, it counts it as if I am cheating, stops everything and calls the attendant. 1) You reduce the number of cashiers, 2) you make us do the work for free and 3) you provide us with subpar equipment. Think about that Longo's/Sobeys. That being said, the staff is generally great especially Bruno in the coffee department.

Longo has everything including their own bakery, deli, meat/seagood section, fresh produce pizza shop and ofcourse my favorite *****bucks

This past weekend I used Longo’s Burloak catering service for my daughter’s bridal shower.
I ordered sandwiches from the deli and desserts from the bakery. Everything was so fresh, delicious and beautifully presented.
I also ordered guest favours from the floral department. Rosa made almost 30 bouquets for the guests to take home. They were gorgeous and the guests were thrilled.
Thank you for making my hosting wonderful and the price was very reasonable.

Bakery does wonderful cakes. Rosettes are done very well here for designs.
However I asked a produce staff for price of basil and he said to bring it up to cash and check. He said it would prevent him from walking to get price checked. What great customer service. He also told me that it wasn't expensive. For a high end store I expect more. Very disappointed. I will not shop here but will order cakes until I find a shop I prefer as I just moved to area.

Three times in a row only 2 cashiers on tills. When asked was told the others in bathroom. Ask for manager also in bathroom. 10 min wait with 5 items! Next time Fortinos!

After being a loyal customer of Longos' Burloak for 12+ years spending $250-$300 per week (do the math, this is over $100K spent so far) I will be switching grocery stores. I bought a piece of rainbow trout to find out that the fish was rotten. So I take it back to the store and the person in charge at the time (Marcio) asks me dumb questions like, did I store it in the fridge, etc. Quite insulting. The store agrees to a refund for the fish anyway, but I feel frustrated about the massive waste of time this is for me and the belittling questions I had to put up with. Next day I call the store manager (Kevin W.) who's a little dismissive but to get me out of his hair decides to put $15 credit on my rewards card, making it sound like a big gesture since the store policy is to just give a refund.

I was not looking to make money out of this. I was looking for a sincere apology, for the rotten fish and for the poor treatment at the store. Instead I felt insulted twice over, not appreciated at all as a customer. I will be buying at Metro and Fortinos for the next 12 years. Good-bye Longo's Burloak.

Be sure to watch the cashier or at least check your receipt before leaving this store. Have had 2 visits in a row where they don’t look at produce tags but automatically ring up the most expensive of that product. For example, last week, bought Ontario Peaches, Ontario Tomatoes and Mutzu apples. The clerk rang up the most expensive Peaches, Tomatoes and the wrong (more expensive) Apples. The difference was almost $6 on a $55 receipt. This week it was Grapefruit, I bought small and it had tags but the clerk just rings up Large! They don’t bother looking at tags, it must be their policy to just put in most expensive. Why not ask the customer if you can’t bother looking at the tags? I spoke to a manager after the first issue who assured me it would be addressed, obviously it hasn’t! Wonder how many people didn’t catch them? They are ripping us off!

The store is clean, organized and well stocked

Express/Beer lanes are rarely if ever open. You have to pile items on the service desk if you want to avoid longer lines. If you purchase alcohol the staff have to switch around and some times close service desk to accommodate. Frustrates many customers and speaking with staff they are also frustrated. Have never seen management in this store which explains why it's not been ever addressed. Many neighbours and friends in the area feel the same way and go elsewhere when possible.

So, I absolutely love the selection of food. However, my rating is based on the hot foods section. At first, I thought maybe the man was having a bad day (we all do) but, everytime I go in.he is absolutely miserable. He sees customers at the counter and has to stop doing stuff to actually serve customers. I have watched many encounters he has had with other customers and it is the same. Never greets customers, never friendly and always slow to help serve you. Other employees in that area are never eager to serve you but atleast you receive a greeting. May you actually look at how you serve customers and work on trying to establish a better service that makes people want to come back. You seem to have a great selection of products but not good customer service.

Do not order your pizza from this location! The manager that runs this department is always in a foul mood and completely unsympathetic to the customers needs as well as to her staff. Pizza station is supposed to be open until 8 p.m. Monday to Friday but if you come after 7: 30 they will not make you a pizza, due to the fact that the staff won't get paid past 8 and need that time to clean up. Saturday and Sunday, they closed the counter at 7 and will not make you something if you come in just before 7. Do not by your pizza here!

I have to agree would love more health food selections. Great layout of store with plenty of items for ready to eat food. They literally have everything you can think of from pizza to sandwiches, salads and meals ready to microwave or pop in the oven. I was staying at the Sandman Hotel so shopping here was much cheaper than eating out. Got everything I needed for my stay and for a very reasonable price on everything. My only issue was the lack of Coke Cola products available and they don't carry Powerade. I walked over, isn't far but it is coming home walking with bag's of groceries. Would love to see them offer a delivery service to the Hotel directly. I would have gladly payed a fee for that service. Thanks guy's, also my younger cashier was Amazing. She was super helpful and friendly, great job.

I've always loved shopping at Longo"s and since Covid has started I enjoy shopping there even more. It's safe, CLEAN, organized and staff are extremely helpful! Thank you Longos for helping my family feel safe.

On Dec 24th I came to pick up my order for my Festive Meal and a few other things. From the moment I was greeted by the person checking for masks to the time I left and Wendy helped my as my cashier I had a fantastic experience. Everyone was friendly and personable and it’s potentially a very busy day for most preparing for the holidays but that did not impact service. As I waited in line at customer service for my Festive meal as the small line (3 ppl) formed they immediately had more staff to help us out. The delivery of my order came with the person making sure I had everything I ordered and was friendly.

As I checked out Wendy was so friendly and was making nice conversation. She takes a lot of pride in her work and made sure the my floral arrangement was packaged.

I was so impressed that I did call back that day to let the manager know. And she was equally as friendly.

Thank you everyone at Longo’s for being so genuinely friendly and making my experience exceptional!

They do not enforce mask wearing. Friday at approximately 4: 40 pm. Man walked through cash with mask on his chin. I ask him to put it on properly and he ignored the request. Staff remained silent and did not attempt to enforce mask wearing policy. I will not return to this location. Unsafe with current rising cases.

We got a birthday cake from Longo’s at Burloak. It was a triple layer chocolate cake with whipped cream. The cake tasted so yumm. The texture was perfect, the sweetness for the right level. I highly recommend it and we will back for sure. Thank you, Longo’s bakery team.

Always clean and well stocked. Longo's has the highest quality fresh fruit and veg of all the grocery stores in Halton in my opinion.
COVID precautions excellent! Belt gets cleaned in between EVERY customer unlike some other grocery stores.

This is a second review as my first one was deleted because they didn't like what I had to say. Essentially, this Longos has gone downhill in the last few years since the renovations. They used to have quality one of a kind produce that would keep me coming back. They used to have quality one of a kind products that I'd go back there for every week and I couldn't find anywhere else. They were also deleted out of their offerings after the renos. Their fish is labelled "wild" but it's definitely not. Now it's just more of the same as their competitors. I used to spend $450 a week at this place. I barely go now as I'm greatly disappointed.

I used to spend at least$400.00 every two days there now I will never set foot in any Longos stores they do not respect that some vulnerable people can Not wear a mask for medical reasons. All my friends and acquaintances have also stopped shopping at Longos.

For the past few years this location has been my trusted grocery store.
The cleanliness, customer service, and professionalism of all the staff have been always excellent.
Today I’m writing my first comment on the internet due to the excellent service that Edwardo gave me. His interaction with customers goes beyond than simple cashier. He is an ambassador of the Longo’s family. All the time he made me feel that I am a very important client. Congratulations!

Omg horrible. They tried to force me to wear a nasty mask on my face. After I specifically told them that I'm claustrophobic and have anxiety. I almost had a panic attack in the store. If anything would happen to me there I would sue so bad. This is disgusting

After trying online grocery shopping from various stores with poor results, I started shopping at Longos when they announced their mandatory mask policy. I tolerated the convenience store prices (for many items) and inferior produce quality/selection compared to Fortinos because of that policy. On July 9th, mask discipline, mostly in the produce department was very lax. I saw 4 different employees with their masks pulled down under her nose. These employees were just kids and they needed to be supervised. I left Longos and drove to Fortinos on New St.to see what safety measures were in place since my last visit over 2 months ago. The New St Fortinos had their COVID-19 preparations firmly in place. Every employee was wearing their mask properly and I saw only 4 customers without masks. A manager was moving about the store and monitoring each department, as well as the social-distancing checkout system they had implemented. Kudos to Fortinos for having their act together! The Burloak Longo's needs to train and supervise their employees to a much higher degree.

Wow Longos Wyecroft! Advertising online and thruout the store a fabulous sale on Lobsters.don't usually shop there because of the ridiculous prices, but do on ocassion, went and filled my cart with everything I needed. Get to the seafood counter. No lobsters left.too bad that happens but the ad is still running on a tv right behind the seafood counter and on signs leading you in the front door. The "manager" was there and we asked why don't you take down the TV ad and signs if you're sold out. Her response "it is what it is" "this is first world problems" excuse me I think your prices are targeted to a "first world store" We were shocked and took exception to her remarks and she proceeded to tell us we could leave the store! WHAAAAT! We dropped our carts of food and left! I understand being stressed in this climate, but we are also working everyday and it doesn't give you a licence to be rude to customers! Longos.if this is the management you put in place to show your other staff members how to conduct themselves.see ya! Headed to Fortinos!

I love all the people that work here and it's always super clean. The food is fresh and they have a pretty good selection. The only thing that I would recommend to them is to carry more international food.

The store is a beautiful place, but what I had witnessed with my own eyes today from a so called “manager” in customer service was appalling. She was rude and disrespectful to a customer asking a simple question. The poor guy seemed shocked at her answer and went elsewhere looking for the help he wanted in a different area of the store. Shame on her. I wish I had stepped up and had given her a piece of my mind. Unfortunately, I had my granddaughter with me, I will be returning to the store to speak to someone OTHER than this woman. That is DEFINITELY not what customer service is.

Took a cooking class there with some friends for $40. The Chef was great, but everything else about it was a hot mess. The 3 kitchen helpers that were supposed to be assisting him looked like the absolute most dour looking people you could possibly imagine. They ran out of hand soap and paper towels, there wasn't enough space for us all to wash our hands when it came time to help. They couldn't control the temperature of the stovetop, so the chicken we were supposed to eat did not cook properly at all. Which then made the class run 30 min over, so I had to leave before we could eat any of it. I'm giving 2 stars because the chef was good. And the situation was such a disaster it was entertaining. I was very honest on my feedback form and thought I would hear from their quality control team, but I guess they are cool with having you pay $40 to watch a disorganized cooking class with a malfunctioning stovetop, have super miserable assistants, and serve you undercooked chicken.

I was in this afternoon and spoke to two very friendly staff in the bakery to discuss ordering cupcakes for my twins' glow in the dark party. The staff were kind enough to humor me and allow me to test out their icing under my blacklight flashlight (never leave home without it). I later proceeded to buy several things and neglected to grab a basket or cart and an employee stopped and offered to grab me a cart or basket. So kind of her. Cashier on lane 1 was very friendly. Exceptional customer service!
