Well organised, fresh vegetables and fruits. One stop shop for all. No words for well displayed Salad bar, ready meals. Loft Cooking class was very impressive.

I Will say Long's is a great place to shop!
Thanks to Long's I now feel more relaxed shopping and taking my time.

Was not expecting the quality of the meal. Turkey, root vegetables, mashed potato, gravy.
Super delicious, compliments all around.
Could not cook/host this year due to renovations. Longo’s saved the day!

I am writing a review of Longos-Great Staff, Polite Cashiers, Great Management, and Customers that respect both staff and Management. Keep up the great work everyone-Remember it's a Team Effort.

Longos usually has fresh items. We bought a pack of "freshly baked" bran muffins but they were very dry.unedibly dry. What happened?

My go to grocery store - aside from sobeys in the Laird area. Longos always seems to have a better selection.a sweet convenient place in a plaza where I can get my essentials. Dry cleaning, Beer, Five Guys, Grocery, Shoppers drug mart all located in this laird plaza!

Great fresh produce, excellent meat & fish section, good value for your $$ if you shop carefully, lots of things on sale!

Just bought a strawberry cake today early Mother's Day dessert. The inside was frozen and the cream outside was stale?
Absolutely never buying this again and ashamed to have shared this with family.so disappointed!

Well stocked and a wide variety of foods. The market-like design is great. Fresh bread, good selection of meats and fish. Helpful and friendly staff.

I have been ordering cakes from this location for over 3 years. Recently placed a cake order and the bakery associate was rude saying that because I ordered "extra stuff" on the cake (which I didn't, I ordered what I always did and ordered what was on the bakery order form) she said that it would cost extra. I explained to her that I wasn't sure why that was the case given that I placed the same order two weeks ago. The accosiate rudely replied, "Well, you didn't place the order with me! I've been working here for 7 years! " I will NEVER order from this location again.

Very clean and well layed out. The in house coffee they make in some of the best in the city and they offer beans you cannot get most places. Even year round Jamaica blur mountain.

Why they moved the honey to the bread isle from the tea and breakfast isle. I will never know.

Shop here frequently because I think the produce and meat is heads and shoulders above other stores in the area. Very well organized, helpful employees. Keto and gluten-free options. Decent beer options.

Likely the nicest Longos around the GTA. Glad they kept the original structure which was an old train yard built in 1919 so it's over a 100 yrs old. The industrial look is maintained throughout with exposed steel beams, massive industrial windows and exposed brick. But the highlight for me is way up, look up towards the ceiling and you'll see wooden beams that's been there since the beginning. This is a great example of a heritage building properly restored.

As for the actual grocery, it's nice too with fresh fruits, meats, and seafood where monkfish is even available. A Starbucks and a second floor eat-in section that overlooks the grocery area makes for a unique setup.

Good food there but on a Wednesday night at 8: 15pm there were 50 people in line and only 2 lanes open, a 30 minute wait, completely unacceptable, I had to put my food back and leave.

Honestly I love Longos - their selections are always fresh which is what draws me to shop here. However, I noticed sometimes the cashiers say things like “the receipt will be emailed to you. ” without even asking if I want a printout receipt first. Anyways, I never got “the receipt” in my email and this has happened a few times already.

Great selection of everything. Superb coffee, bakery, meats, and cheeses. The prices are slightly higher than some other stores but the quality and atmosphere makes up for it. Conveniently located in a plaza with many other diverse stores and resteraunts. We highly recommend the store made pizza.

Longo’s is always my favourite esp this location. Today on June 18th at 7: 50 p.m at Kitechen section - We took chicken noodles as the label said so, but guess what - we have lots of shrimps, beef n chicken! I would have enjoyed if am sea food lover but unfortunately am allergenic to sea food … never expected this kind of wrong label from Longo’s! We went back inside store n showed the box, good they fixed the mistake but what a customer is severely allergic to seafood? - staff is nice here but this just does not go with labels.

Good produce, neatly organized and friendly staff. A touch on the pricey side but you do get what you pay for.

Rude older female cashier on Monday April 26th between 6-7pm. I let her know I was taking the rest of my items in my reusable bag and she didn't say anything so I said "excuse me. " and then she proceeded to give me attitude "Yes, I HEARD you! "

I understand it's really hard to communicate with masks on but maybe you could have nodded or made eye contact with me when I let you know I'll be taking the rest of the items.

All the young staff looked calm and they were friendly though. I wish I was directed to another cashier today.

Needless to say I won't be coming back to this store.

The parking stalls are tight. You have to shop with older entitled Leaside people. If you don't care about how rude some of the shoppers could be, Longo's is alright. The butcher's are good. Ask them anything.

I have been having a terrible last few months with family, friends, and the Corona isolation, so when I went into Longos last week I really thought it would just be another miserable day. Much to my suprise, after I had gotten all my food and went to the cashiers, a lovely gentleman named Arsalan (I was sure to write his name down) asked if I was okay and made me really feel noticed. After a quick little blurb of me venting all the stresses of my life, Arsalan told me that everything was going to work out and that he is always happy to listen if I needed someone. Im sure it wasnt much to him, but it has brightened my whole week feeling heard for those brief moments. Thank you so much Arsalan (I hope you see this) and the rest of the Longos staff for this phenominal experience!

Today I was locked out of my car, not only that but my dog was inside.
All the staff were wonderful. The young woman in the garden centre took me into the store, and Filomena and a tall man in the garden centre -sorry don't know your name- opened the car, thankfully windows were open.
I am quite deaf and so their kindness and patience was really appreciated.

What a complete disaster. Longos doesn't respect the law at all. Staff are not properly trained.

This is a great grocery store - one of the best in the city I think. It’s full of excellent, helpful staff who have a great knowledge of the store & it’s products. Shout out to David at the coffee counter - very knowledgeable & great to talk to every week when I’m replenishing my supply of espresso. Simple interactions with people like him have helped make shopping during the pandemic bearable & even pleasant.

Great, helpful staff every step of the way. At the door, at the coffee roasting and at check out. We came to get roast chicken dinner and salads and found everything we needed.

I've been wanting to write this for a while and just haven't had the time.

Your AISLE 8 sign to tell people to line up is extremely confusing for a lot of people, especially seniors. I'm in my 30s and it's confusing, half the time older folks don't even know where to line up, the sign needs to be changed to a different colour with an "ARROW" pointing down the correct aisle. Everything is branded RED for longos so, the sign doesn't even stick out it's just become any other random sign you got in the store. If you don't want to print another signage board then who ever you have directing the traffic to the cashier's needs should be in a different colour shirt, this way people know where and who they need to listen to.

One of the cashier's was telling people go to the lady in red, but like all the staff is wearing red.so like which person should they go to? !

This is an easy fix to a problem that other's are complaining about in the line up.

Very food Covid19 protocols in place. Lined up for a few minutes to get in, and associate at the front was offering hand sanitizer and got a cleaned cart for us. Quick and efficient. Store is well organized and clean. Nabbed some Christmas decor/planters out front for a good price. Also got a few other things in store. Good overall shopping experience.

Wow this Longos is big. Big variety on fresh and frozen items. Non meat options ️. The bakery is very nice with fresh bread everywhere.

I love how friendly and helpful the staff here is. And I never seem to have to wait to long to check-out.

Longos is my favorite grocery, when i look at the shelf i feel that i am valued as a customer, because it looks like everything is selected with care for the customers. I always find everything I need, good selection of organic and hormone free meats.and the veggies and fruits are always top quality.the staff is helpful and friendly,

Bought hazelnut butter during Christmas. Just found out it’s already expired in November last year.

Such a wonderful grocery store with variety of cheese fruits organic stuff, flowers especially Friday-Saturday buffet is unbelievable affordable.

Well stocked grocery store, Longo's has tremendous variety on the shelves that you won't find in other grocery stores. Large selection of organic produce, gluten free options, grass-fed meat & dairy. Many items are priced higher than competitors, this won't be your bargain hunting store like No Frills and Food Basics.

Some items I will say are priced obnoxiously. Quality is here yes, but not many are going to buy a bottle of pasta sauce for $10!

The pizza guy didn't want to make 1 pizza at 6: 50 pm, he says he has too much work to do, shame on the manager allowing this to happen to the customers

Really like Longos. Quality food and service. Lots of choices. Like that they have a rewards card taking dollars off some grocery purchases. Like that they have online order and delivery service, Grocery Gateway. Used it often with no problems.

Best grocery store for the freshest produce, hands down! Clean, it's organized, well stocked. 4 stars because they no longer have a pharmacy and their selection of over the counter offerings is pretty slim.

Saturday morning 10 am - 4/12 checkout lanes open. Time to hire more staff or go to self checkouts.

I had a very awesome customer service experience with the staff, particularly where you can order sandwiches and salads at the main floor. I was looking for a specific cooked veggie that they make but unfortunately at that time they didnt have any. One of the staff actually went out of his way to guide me in the produce section, pick the ingredients and teach me how to actually make it my self! Wow!

I came in here to get my groceries the Friday before a long weekend and maybe I hit it at the right time but I was so impressed with how fully stocked and fresh everything was that I picked up. Plus there were some great deals on in the meat department. This place is no more expensive than any other grocery store in the area, but they are doing a way better job for their customers.

WE PURCHASED WILD FISH TWICE AND EACH TIME THEY ARE KNOWINGLY PACKAGING A PAST DUE PRODUCT WHEN OPEN A SMELL SO OVERWHELMINGLY DISGUSTING THAT WILL TURN YOUR STOMACH. THIS STILL CONTINUES TO HAPPEN. VERY DECEITFUL.

Went to Longos this morning to buy coffee beans. The employee John, that works at the coffee roasting station was very knowledgeable friendly and helpful overall. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience

This is my favourite grocery store in the area. It's very well stocked, and all the staff are helpful. There's a stocker working in the produce section that always goes above and beyond for even simple questions.
