Longo's Maple

I've always ordered birthday cakes from this location and I have never had an issue. My boss asked me to order a cake for one of my managers and I decided to come to this location since I've always had good cakes. She picked up the cake today and I cannot express the level of embarrassment I felt when she texted me the cake. She asked if it could be fixed, instead she was given attitude and the associate didn't even attempt to make it right instead the associate made the cake look worse. I'm disappointed and embarrassed and will not be ordering from this location again. The cake looks like it was rushed and decorated without care. I just pray it tastes good

I like this Longos, very well organized and find everything you want with having Starbucks coffee after finishing grocery

Went for fruit and vegetables. Fresh. Clean. But Pricy. Especially products that are Ontario grown like corn on cob & peaches. Still will go again.

I really like Longo's. Especially Irish coffee and today I bought a very nice Australian wine Banrock Pink Moscato.

Ordered a frozen themed cake for my daughter's birthday and it was a horrible experience. The icing was incredibly messy and the colours were completely wrong, it looked nothing like the picture. I had to literally scrape off the top layer of icing and fix it myself.

The store itself is nice and organized but the bakery section could definitely do better.

This store can do better in bakery section. We bought a cake for our anniversary from here (chocolate cake). Sweetest cake on this earth - felt like eating sugar directly from the sugar packet. We had to throw the cake in garbage eventually as it was not edible. Other than store is clean and organized but pricey for the same items which you can find in nearby grocery stores and save your hard earned money.

Some few things are amazingly cheap and some few items are extremely expensive comparing to Walmart and FreshCo

Staff are great. Selection of food is great. Smaller grocery store than Fortinos across the way but I prefer to shop here. Plus the added bonus of a Starbucks inside the store.

Clean grocery store courteous staff and quick service. However the bakery needs some improvements. I don't think I've tasted cakes this sweet ever. Please cut down on the sugar and make cakes that are more enjoyable.

The woman with shoet hair and glasses at the bakery was very helpful. They also were accommodating and opened more checkout lanes as the lines got longer. The cashier was nice too. Like how they were one of the first stores to make masks mandatory. Some ignorant people who only care about their convenience really put everyone else in risk. Stay home everyone! And always wear masks as soon as you step out the door

Very disappointed from the Starbucks store inside the longos. Needed to exchange a cracked bottle purchased at Starbucks. The only receipt provided in the bag was longos receipt. Starbucks wasn't willing to accept the receipt they provided & longos management can't help saying i need to deal with Starbucks. Why would you provide that receipt to begin with if its not good for anything?

I'd like to thank Longo's Bakery for their great job on my Daughter's birthday cake and it was absolutely delicious. "Neda" (Cake decorator) did everything to make sure we'll get exactly what we wanted. My 4 years old thrilled to see such a beautiful and tasty cake on her birthday. Thank you Neda! All our guests will be ordering from you guys from now on!

So grateful for Caroline's assistance a couple of weeks ago when I needed to put together a large but urgent catering order due to a sudden death in the family. She was patient, kind & extremely efficient. The food was exceptional in flavour & presentation & just what was needed on that emotional day. THANK YOU CAROLINE & THE DELI TEAM!

I'm sorry, but this place is expensive as hell. The staff is great and very helpful. But you break the bank shopping here, and they're always out of at least 3 things you need.

Very clean and organized store with very helping and courteous young staff who are very professional. Excellent social distancing and definitely the best buns in town.

Mandatory temperature checks at the front door by a security guard who comes within 1 metre of you. Yet it isn't mandatory to wear a mask while shopping in the store. Makes sense right? Won't be going to Longos any more.

Language is a very bad service I just buy for 10 minute something and want to return them back they said this is a longer policy We can return box Very bad service very very bad service

I love the staff here. I am a new customer for 2 months now and i really love it here. Anything i buy from Longo's i know i will get a quality product.

This Longo's location used to have highchairs for babies, but recently I went in and they moved the eating area and removed the highchairs. As a last minute resort, I had to feed my baby and it wasn't a pleasant experience. It would've been too much hassle to bring him back to the car and drive somewhere else as it was snowing outside and I was on a time constraint. When I asked the staff about a highchair, they just said "we don't have them anymore". I often find the level of customer service at most Longo's stores mediocre to low. I rarely have a memorable experience.

Your website says your open for business until 10pm. At 615 pm a group of people are outside your maple location commenting on your misleading website. Terrible!

This has been my go to grocery store for many years. Always good produce very well organized, friendly staff!

The bbq chickens are not like Costco.
They dont sell fast. So chickens will be there all day long. I bought one tonight and all family got food poisoning.
Do not recommend the baked chicken.

I have shopped here for years but had a very unpleasant experience on August 24,2019 when i ordered a slab from the bakery for my brothers 40th birthday who used to be an employee there as well. The birthday was at a hall and the cake was decorated in blue icing for 120 people. The food coloring was not properly mixed and as a result many of our guests were left with blue stained teeth. My hands and nails were also stained i had to soak them in lemon juice to get rid of the colour. Calling the store and speaking to the manager was disheartening he was rude and condescending because he advised that his decorator has over 20 year of experience? So I'm lying? Never again -to Fortinos as per usual.

The price tags are very confusing. Not sure if they do it on purpose.
Only one item is on sale as advertised but they put it everywhere making it looked like everything is on sale and at the same unit price.

Amazing very different kind of supermarket. Lots of produce but often unique to this chain. Love it.

I love the layout. I personally work in retail, so I always find a great deal of enjoyment in stores that are merchandised well.

The displays are always unique, organized and fully stocked. The floor staff are always friendly and polite when asked for help. The cashiers are especially kind and efficient.despite making small talk with every customer; these cashiers are some of the fastest I’ve ever seen at a grocery store.

These may seem like small details; but overall, it’s all the little things that make this the best Longo’s in the GTA. Thank you to the staff for all your hard work to ensure everyone has a great experience here!

They are now charging for shopping bags. When Fortinos did that awhile back, we swore not to shop there anymore. We are now making the same promise with Longo's. If I have to take my own shopping bags, might as well go to Freshco, after all it's a lot cheaper. So long Longo's.

I used to visit this location very often, the produce is always good and the staff are very courteous and helpful. I was just there again today and I remembered why I stopped going to this location.
The parking! Yes the parking is terrible on most days. I know that it is not the fault of the store but at the end of the day it does reflect on the store and your shopping experience.
Yes, you can find great produce, fresh meats and a great bakery, but if you are having to get stressed driving through the lot or trying to find a convenient parking spot, or trying to get out of a parking spot it's not really worth the aggravation.
Again I know that it's not the fault of the store, but more so the other drivers, but it does reflect on the store.
If the other drivers would learn to be a little more courteous and pay attention to the signs, I don't think there would be any issues. That's my opinion of course, but overall it is a great store.

This supermarket is one of the best ones in Maple, food is always fresh. Everything is nicely displayed, the layout makes it easy to find the itens you want to purchase.

Store manager is not respectful and doesn't care about customers. My wife was shopping in this store and the wheel of the cart stuck in the pothole on the asphalt in front of the store rolling out the cart with purchases.because of what she turned over and fall down getting many injuries. I asked store manager to repair this whole because many customers can fall down because of this. It's already more than 2 months and the pothole is not repaired.make a conclusions what is the manager and what is the store.

First time visiting this location, I like the fact that the store is clean and large. However, I did not enjoy the hot lunch that I purchased from this location, along with the soup. It had no taste. I ended wasting the chicken noodle soup as well as the mixed veggies fried rice with salon. My friend got the chilli soup and she also could not finish it due to the (bland) taste and crunchy was of the bean. Other than that it just like any other grocery store. ‍️

Pricey grocery store. They stand by their products, ex: if you need to return anything. Very clean and staff always helpful. When I've asked where a product is they bring me right to it. Avoid the seafood, particularly the salmon as it is all farmed (I've called head office to ask) even the salmon labelled "Atlantic" is farmed. Also I'm not happy with the lastest change in the eggs, Longos is doing their own brand of eggs "extra space for the chickens to lay eggs and stretch". Very nice wording and way to cut costs by bringing your own brand.
