Longo's Milton

Grocery shopping at Longos Milton is my favourite errand to run. I go weekly and I usually tandem push my stroller and pull my cart behind me (as that’s what works for me) and the staff are always checking in to see if I need a hand. I don’t take them up on if as I’m fine on my own but today it was raining as I finished up my shop and an employee offered to help us out to the car. He pushed the cart and loaded my groceries into my truck while I got my son squared away from the rain! I am very thankful for that service today o

Bought a kitchen special today.they mixed old rice and new together and sold it. Almost broke a tooth with the first bite. I wouldnt even feed a dog that. Zero if I could for rating.

Either need more training or less laziness at the cashier. Bought some gift cards with my groceries and I had changed my mind on one of the gift cards prior to paying, I asked Farheen to cancel one of them and she told me it is not possible. At which point I should just have not paid. Silly me paid and then questioned it as I walked out of the store as to why it's not possible when I have not even paid yet. I went back in and the girls at CS desk confirmed it is possible to cancel prior to customers paying for gift cards. Farheen from across the end of the cashiers lanes overhead and said I asked her after paying.but I told her to review the cameras to help with her memory. Disappointing experience.

It's a high end grocery store. $$$. Parking lot is a little tight. But overall nice shopping place. Pizza, bakery, Starbucks, meat, cheese list goes on. Even fresh cut flowers

This is a fantastic store. All the advertised meat and turkey was in stock and easy to find.

Grossly over-priced products with a marginal improvement in quality. Better to shop at a local farmer's market where the price is much lower, the quality is much higher and your money supports the local community instead of a mega-corp.

Can you put in self checkouts so we do t have to wait in line an hour for a simple purchase? Every other longos has it

Laurence the cart pusher randomly took my cart while shopping and I told the young man I was still shopping, he replied with “we are low on cart MAAM” this happened about a month ago, i haven’t been the same since.

Worst exsperance I've ever had at this location! Stopped in for dinner as I often do and asked for a slice of pizza to be warmed up. Two young girls working behind the counter working pizza dough, 1st girl grabbed my slice without changing gloves and tossed it into the oven.ok a little raw dough won't hurt me but then the second girl who also dose not change her gloves grabs my slice and pulls it back out (with the first girl protesting that she just put it in) and tossed my slice onto what looked like a white paper Towle in a random plastic tub on the counter then proceeded to brush the crumbs etc out of the oven and into a waist basket. Then grabbed my slice and tossed it back in again no glove change.but the finnal straw was when they removed the paper towle from the tub my slice was tossed it was covered in blue pen ink as if someone had used it to write a shopping list on. This turned my stomach and I lost my appetite, I walked away no saying a word, returned my other items to the shelf and walked out of the store. Lazy kids with no concept they are handling food products if they are willing to do this is front of me I'm afraid what they do to the product when no one is looking. Gross and unsanitary. YUCK

Great place to shop. Everything is easy to find. Meat and fruit always fresh. Fresh baked goods. Friendly atmosphere. Had their freshly made pizza and it was very good!

This store is well maintained and always stocked with fresh fruits and veggies. Excellent choice of organics.

What ever you do don't buy Longos Brand Avocado Oil or you be on the toilet all day. Thanks Longos

We ordered cake for Birthday first time from Longo’s and they messed up our order and informed us 4 hours before Birthday and we couldn’t change to other bakery as it was Sunday and impossible to get our requirements same day and when I complained they told that Bakery manager will call on Monday however still waiting for his call as Tuesday ending now. So a poor customer service from this store.

Longos is my favorite grocery store. Quality, fresh, large to have many choices and I shop here very often. But yesterday evening time, I went to Longos to get a milk and chocolate for my kids. I paid by cash, $20 dollars paper bill and a cashier woman said " we don't take it because it's too old"?

What's mean "too old"?
It's weren't tear any corners. It's look still good
I don't know why? The Canada dollars also out of value?

Loads of different options and produce whether that be fruits, vegetables, meat or meals. Also an amazing bakery and a Starbucks on the inside

So my review here is for the bakery section. I had ordered my daughters birthday cake, customized to the theme of her bday. The young man who took the order spent almost 30 mins with me writing in detail and I pointed to the 8 “ cakes listed at 21.99 on display saying I wanted that size. All was well with the order and he told me they would charge likely about $10 more for the icing etc which I agreed.come the day of picking up the order I see a) cake looking a washed out version of the original B) half the message and theme missing c) cake a smaller shrunken version of the 8” cake and d) a whopping double the price of the 8”cake. Of course I was upset and made my annoyance known, manager came down and tells us “oh cake was small and we made an “executive decision “ to cut down the icing! And we were too busy to call” Really? After the order taker took my number and asked for a back up number in case of any questions they were too “busy to call” Long story short they fixed the icing to somewhat match my original request but no answer as to why the cake was double the cost at half the size. When I asked the manager shrugged and said “I don’t know”. By this time my husband was mad and we were already running late so he took the cake and walked but a truly horrific experience with incompetent indifferent staff. For those who order birthday cakes we all know a custom cake is not a cake it’s an emotion. So honestly I’m truly upset by their behaviour and their attitude. Will not go back here again. Prefer other chain stores or even the longos in another city.

I shop here very often and I like this store but I just bought a tray of chicken breast for $30 last week and put it in the freezer right away, i thawed it out today as I do usually and it was all smelly. Disappointing and no dinner as planned for the family. So sad, $30 in the garbage.

This is probably my favourite grocery store out of 3 different cities. It is large enough to have good choice, but not overwhelming and doesnt try to be a department store. Good customer service, they work at having an appropriate number of cashiers on staff and don't try to force you into a self check out. Just a good overall grocery store and those are difficult to come by these days.

I would post a zero star review if possible. I bought vanilla cupcakes from here. I have had the most painful stomachaches every single day that I ate a cupcake. I only realized that the cupcakes were the cause of this on the third incident. The pain feels like my stomach is getting torn open.

Staff is very accommodating and friendly. It is a bit pricey but you get the best quality overall.

Ordered 3 trays of potatoes from their catering department for a gathering. A relative picked up the 3 trays on their way to the gathering and passed them to me. The potatoes were cold! They were not put in an over to cook. A suggestion for Longo's. When someone orders catering, the food should be cooked and ready to serve. Had to put them in the oven for 1/2 an hour prior to serving while everything else I on my table was now getting cold. Never again.

Excellent, very helpful staff from the cashiers, to the departmental staff and let us not forget the gentlemen who collect the carts. Lots of selection from fruits to meat. Great selection of breads and baked goods. I swear I walk in there and put on ten pounds. So many yummy things. I don't know if there is anything this store doesn't carry. I have also found the store to be very clean.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that works at the Longo, s store in Milton for making my visit to there store a great shopping experience, especially through these trying times. Know that this customer appreciate, s that smile he recieved walking in, it restores my faith.

I love this grocery store. It is NOT a giant box store that takes an hour to get through. They have fantastically fresh produce, and their deli, bakery, and fresh food sections have a TON of selection.

Overpriced! Tabasco sauce 142 ml.was wrongly priced @ $ 2.99, took a picture of the advertised price and went to cashier checkout who scanned to get a price of $5.49. Showed picture of the advertised price of 142 ml. @2.99. Cashier called the supervisor/ manager who gave one free and the second one at full price $5.49! Where as Ontario Consumer law says customer should be charged as advertised price! Definitely not going there again. But only plus side on my visit today was the excellent selection of cakes in their bakery section for which I went in the first place.

Fast and super efficient curbside pickup! Some people had parked in the marked.pickuo stalls so I.was elsewhere and the employee still found me with zero issues.excellent t service

I was asked by my cashier to start loading my groceries on to the check out. Sandra (working the lottery checkout) was quick to rush over and scold this new cashier, as well as myself on covid protocols. In her opinion, I should not have been loading groceries on the belt as instructed. She was very rude and passive-aggressive. She herself failed to maintain 6ft distancing during this interaction. Please coach Karen. I mean Sandra.on how to properly interact with staff and customers if she has a concern in the future.

Great location and lots of parking spaces. Store is very well stocked and carries many premium items. Their meats are awesome. Check out staff is superb and lines move quickly. Very well managed store.

A bit pricey compared to other Grocery Stores, but the freshness of the produce, Longos Signature Soup Line (Coconut is the best!), and the top notch customer service are some of the reasons I go here on occasion.

Very expensive. Do yourself a favour and go to another grocery store that has the exact same items for significantly less.

This Longos in Milton is a terrific store, the employees are friendly and helpful, the store is always very clean and they sell Quality. EDIT. The produce manager could be friendlier, every time I see him he is rude.

Impulse buy. I bought some Sunapee California grapes at a premium. I was blown away as was my whole family. They tasted like cotton candy; I've never had grapes like that before.

Most items in the store are a dollar or two higher than literally any other grocer. I attempted to order a large pizza from the hot food counter and was told 25 minutes. That's absurd. And $7 for 12 soda water is as close to theft as possible. Obvious I'll never shop there again.

Longo's was good as always. Very friendly staff. They did not have ceaser salad in the bag. That was disappointing.

Great store in Milton! Clean. Organized. Nice employees. Good bakery, fresh fruit and vegetables. Apple crumbled Pie is amazing! Love it! And Again I had to do last min few items shopping for my small family Thanksgiving dinner late Sunday evening. Every one was friendly and helpful. Lots of fresh vegetables and freshly baked goods. Special thank you for every one who works really hard during Pandemic at this store from my family

Everything was very clean and the public in store followed the social distance guides for rows/lanes.

This place is worth giving a shot. They serve big portions for convenient prices. Regularly well kept and with awesome mood. Will come visit again.

It's always great shopping at Longos. You get what you pay for and the staff is always friendly!

I used to love their fresh cheese, deli, meats and bakery. However today i learned they are no longer grating cheese for customers. For the price you pay the service was amazing, now its not worth it.

Currently, Longos has a very stringent social distancing policy. They were one of the first grocery stores to mandate masks. Their customer service is always exceptional. Their fresh produce appears to be primarily imported from the States and the prices are a little high, but the quality is good. Would be nice to have more local items available. The fresh deli sandwiches are AMAZING!

Great selection, personnel are knowledgeable and polite, prices are fair, great location and good parking and accessibility.

Well stocked and accessible. People traffic was easily managed. Masks and sanitizer provided prior to shopping.

Longo's are higher priced because you get quality products.this isn't Food Basic or No Frills.fruit lasts 10 times longer and is the BEST. I don't understand people who complain about the prices, if they are too high for you then best you go try where you pay less then tell us how much you threw away.and if anyone was rude, it is how we perceive it. I have heard some pretty rude customers so I'd say it evens out. Everyone has a bad day, or you don't know what they are going through at the time.take a deep breath.:)

Been here many many times, store is clean. Many good deals but also many things are way overpriced. Employees are nice for the most part but there have been times when they have been very rude to me. Overall a decent store, would recommend giving them a try.

This has been my primary grocery store for 10 years.
Conveniently located but you have to really pay attention to expiry dates. I've been burned many times with spoiled produce and it's never worth it to go back and exchange.
Slimy lettuce, moldy hummus, bell peppers that are partially rotten.
After 10 years I guess a few such incidents are to be expected. Still, it'd be nice if they didn't push the envelope of what constitutes saleable.

I shore that the price are so high that i can but 82 airpods at the apple store and still have money to buy your store. Quality is good, Staff is good and nice.

If your looking for quality meats, this is the place to go. Awesome cuts of steaks and lamp chops. Pricey but worth it for it. Super clean as well

Always a good place to shop great quality products a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and usually find what you want

Great store (Longos - good European style foods) Fresh and Tasty Offerings - Near top of scale for price but quality is #1 - great sale prices - This location is on the smaller side of Longos Stores limited prepared offering - Also note: bakery starts cleaning up 1.5 hours or more before closing time, so fresh bread can be challenge. Also Meat department uses plastic wrap on deli meats - This is so bad for fresh cut high quality meats and bad for environment. Excellent fresh roasted coffee beans available - good seafood sectional also.
