Longo's Mount Pleasant

The quality of products has gone down recently. I purchased almond milk that was expired and I also bought two 2% milk packets that was going to expire in next 2 days, realized after 3 days. Last month, I notified one of the employees about the expired milk on the shelves. So, this is happening quite often now. This longos is the near grocery store for me but I don’t think that I will go here anymore to buy groceries. Really disappointed from this Longos location.

Has to be one of the Best Starbucks I have been to, The excellent Barista Simran was very kind and knowledgeable. Great Place to go!

Visited the bakery today, give FAITH A RAISE, she was super helpful and patient with us.had the easiest time ordering a cake and she knew exactly what we wanted.once again, faith from the bakery section is amazing.also, the cupcake she gave was so.good.

They've got plenty of great groceries, organic produce, baked goods and deals from time to time. The staff are friendly and the ambience welcoming.

Great grocery store and you can also grab a buffet style lunch here that you pay be weight. Friendly staff. You can also grab flowers for your loved ones and varieties of pizza slices as well.

Sale on chicken parts, 2.99 a lb advertised, sale to end at midnight the day of my shop I was in the store at 10AM there should have been plenty from previous nights restocking…. Not one tray of the advertised legs, thighs, or legs with thighs attached, no signage and no open space of where items would have been if sold out, this sale was reason I travelled here so I abandoned my cart of items about $200 worth and walked out empty handed. No sale items means NO SALE period, I won’t be shopping Longo’s again any time soon!

The hot food is disgusting.the chicken sandwiches or veal sandwiches are not fresh not even the bread is fresh. It is as if they are purposely giving customers old food. I could not even finish my sandwich. Never again.

Ordered a custom themed cake for my son's 1st birthday. I was floored by how delicious and beautiful it turned out. Truly, like something you'd get from a professional baker. Thanks so much again!

Clean and well organized store. Never too crowded. Love the fresh Pesto Primavera pizza, the only problem is that they hardly ever have the full ingredients for it, don’t know why? Have to call in and try my luck every time I want to order.

Good customer service and they speak English this is a bonus. The shelves are stocked and the store is clean. Price is bit more then No frills or Wallmart but the quality is higher. The sales are pretty good and the meat is a bit pricey.

Bakery, veggies and fruits are very fresh. I found other groceries are a bit expensive compared to wallmart

I ordered my coffee 2weeks earlier with specific instructions. Went back again this week and Mario, remembered exactly what I liked. Can’t say enough about Mario, big smile, courteous and makes you feel like you matter. Can somebody get Mario a raise please? He is exactly what we should expect from customer oriented business’. Thanks Mario, those simple things will keep me and my kids coming back!

Great selection. No self-checkout, but the wait was only a few seconds so it wasn't a big deal.

Best place for baked goods, hot food and groceries. Very friendly staff and everything is fresh.

Yesterday Oct 07 I went Longo’s to get a Deboned Turkey for Thanksgiving this is after going to Fortinos Brisdale which is where I usually get every Christmas and Thanksgiving and was bluntly refused after pleading from one person to another. Anyway this amazing young man his name is Curcio Giovanni Stefano who never did a deboned Turkey before actually went out of his way to do it for me. He realized I was so saddened at not being able to get it for my family and quickly said he will do it and was so apologetic that he may not do it correctly. I am so grateful and happy I met him. He simply made my day better to know they are such helpful people put there. He is in my opinion a great asset to your company because of him we will have a great Thanksgiving. Thanks again Curcio Bless you.

Usually we shop at other places due to lower price / price match

But for quality of cakes we love to visit Longo’s as well as the amazing staff with great customer service.

The place always neat and clean and well organized

We got herb plants from the mini outdoor garden center and the quality of the plants were very good, nothing wilted or browned. The staff outside were friendly and helpful.

Longo's, what a disappointment!
Pre-ordered lobster. Thought would get the best selection of size and quality but turned out 'market size' and 'select size' were almost the 'same size' in the bag they had 'pre-packed' for me.
However in the store the lobster that was on display had a marked difference in the sizes.
Never pre-order! You will not get your moneys worth! Feel cheated!

One stop shop for all grocery needs and fresh fruits and veggies. Super quality but little expensive

Usually love coming here, never have had any problems. Came on May 8th and got some flowers. The lady working made a snarky comment thinking I didn't hear "yea keep spilling the water, not like you gotta clean it"

Nice grocery store. Good for fresh produce. Not too big of a store and not too busy. Helpful features in these times, currently a pandemic.

Clean, quiet & well merchandised. Best fresh lasagna. Has most products I want with a few exceptions. Great service from cashiers who are very fast. Have forgotten a bag at checkout twice & both times they ran out to make sure I took it. 2 are my favorites, one who's name I don't recall but is always cheerful (will update name) & Salena who is very polite, fast & a pleasure to be served by.

I have been shopping at Longo's downtown store for a long time mainly because of the variety, quality and freshness of the daily produce. The Mount Pleasant store exceeded the expectations. It was extremely clean and maitained proper mesaures for safety due to COVID-19.
The staff was very friendly and polite. Would love to continue shopping here.

Knowone at the deli counter 230pm on a Wednesday. Bunch of staff huddled in the bakery area not helping customers, just chatting, on devices!

Great produce and everyone is so friendly. Also stop by their bakery to pick up some delicious mousse cakes.

Batool at the customer service desk cashed me out and was amazing. Told me about an item that was not labeled on the floor properly was bundled and I would save money if I got a second one. So I got the extra one. I appreciated her fantastic service

Wanted to get a cake and a lady working there decides to help the white guy who came after me first and the cashier Kuljinder has an attitude problem. I understand you have to work on Christmas Eve but come on. I've never had issues like these at any grocery store.

Gemy is one of the worst Receiver person in your store he always aregues and yelling with shippers please solve the issue. Receiving needs someone like (Shomar) or (Showmar) this nice guy should do the Receiving.

I pre-ordered a strawberry shortcake at the bakery for an event at 10: 30am. 1 hour before the pick-up, they called me and told me they did not have strawberries and asked me if I wanted another cake. I told them I would call back, called back 3 times and no one answered. Finally got a hold of manager and told me that they dont get shipment of strawberries until later in the afternoon. I asked them why the bakery associate did not let me know, and he said he did not know. I had to settle for another cake and paid full price This was totally unprofessional and stressful especially because the cake was for a special event. This was really disappointing. I dont think I will ever buy a cake here again.

I love shopping at Longo's. There fruit and veggies selection is amazing and so very fresh. The prices can be a bit expensive compared to other grocery stores but it's worth every penny. I also love to buy sushi and the stone oven pizza.

When I first started shopping at Longos, Duffy Rd, in March of this year, I was highly impressed by the freshness of fruits and vegetables and of course by the cleanliness, the display and the social distancing norms. Everything felt great. But, as of date I am really disappointed by the quality/freshness of vegetables and fruits that it’s known for. The prices are still high but not the quality or the freshness. The quality, I feel has been compromised. It’s almost like any other grocery store. To attract South Asian customers, they have started covering their needs for certain types of food but the freshness of food in general is missing. For instance, I bought a pack of chopped kale in plastic container for high price and to my dismay, it was wilted and soggy. A couple of times, I bought cherry tomatoes that were not crisp at all and wilted way too soon. I was not happy.

Quite corner plaza plenty parking. No line up to go in. Employee at entrance very funny and friendly, reminding everyone to sanitize and wear mask. It's a policy at longo's. Fresh grocery little pricy but all worth your time. Also an employee inside directing customers to available cash counters. Very organized compared to many other chaotic grocery stores in Brampton.

Literally go out of my way to come here. Love it best cake specially the ones made by Danielle. Friendly staff always. Good people coming in and out and its very clean.

After seeing the announcement that Longo’s will be implementing wellbeing hour from 8-9AM for elderly and at-risk members of the community I felt compelled to thank this company and specifically this branch. Thank you for continuing to provide exemplary service through this difficult time. We’ve been shopping at Dufay for almost as long as it’s been open. And although the selection isn’t as wide as some other stores, the shopping experience more than makes up for it. Shelves are always stocked and the produce selection is fantastic. Meats are high quality.

Staff in general are courteous and helpful, but we have soft spots for the polite, young gentlemen in the meat/butcher section who’ve always shown outstanding customer service. And our visits are incomplete without chatting with Ruth. She is an exceptional worker who is always friendly and helpful. I always want to buy what she samples!

The rating is not in reflection to the store. It more so toward the Longo’s Corporation and the plastic bag policy.

Why are you still charging for bags? All other grocery stores, Metro, Loblaw’s, Sobey’s including the ma and pa places are not. What is upsetting isn’t the 5 cents or in my case. 15, it’s the fact you don’t see the issue! Maybe just an oversight. If you feel the need to continue to charge for bags, why not covert the proceed value to groceries and donate it to food banks.

Do this and I be more that happy to change my rating.

I shop here frequently due to proximity, the store is well presented etc.however the produce is terrible. I'm not sure why, maybe lack of turnover but I struggle to get fresh fruit and vegetables that are in decent condition. Its a shame considering the pricing is on the high side.

I live near this location, at first I was afraid that the prices would be high as it is a higher end store, but it has quickly become my favourite place to shop for groceries. Always have great fruits and veggies and some nice store brand items including their pasta. On top of that they also have a vast variety of organic and fair trade items, although they could improve on their vegan selection. One thing I would suggest is keeping a slightly higher stock in some bakery items that often seem to be empty. For example I love the store’s cinnamon buns, but they seem to be out of stock pretty often. Other than that, very friendly staff, and in general a nice atmosphere.

Love their salads and sushi sections some awesome sushi and great varieties of salad

The best being the fresh veggies and fruit with an awesome variety Can pick some super and rare groceries from here

Not to miss the pet food and litter section here has a huge variety with some great deals for pet food
Almost all varieties and makes of pet food are available here and that's one of the things I picked up from here

On the flip side this store is kinda steep with prices on the higher side however they do have some really awesome deals each week!

Very convenient as close to my home and mount pleasant and has some unusual great stuff absolutely love shopping here!

Not bad but limited selection for ethnic ingredients. Avoid the fish and seafood department at all costs. I have had to throw out dinner 4 times because of old seafood

My favorite grocery store! Clean and fresh store. Amazing staff, everytime. It's a bit pricey. Starbucks and kitchen inside, store. Highly recommend

6 months ago, very fresh produce and amazing staff. Unfortunately, all that has changed. I bought green grapes and literally after day and half, they went all bad and very soft. I've NEVER had that happen before. Looking for vegetables and they had mold growing on it. I was so disappointed and so was my husband. I had always said good things about this store. However, the quality has gone down significantly. Too bad. Won't be back.

Super impressed with the service! Really like the supervisor there! She has excellent customer service skills!

The place is not fit to be open, I saw a mouse in the dairy asle, the managers are rude and for some reason it smelled like a sewage treatment plant
