My interaction with James at the deli counter was so incredibly pleasant today. I cannot give my praises enough! He was so incredibly patient and helpful. Superb customer service!

Longo's is my go-to grocery store and has been for many years. Love the staff there.
This morning - in the pouring rain - I pulled into the parking lot. For the second time in a year, I noticed a relatively young man back his Bentley into a handicapped parking spot - without a Handicap Sign on the dashboard. I sort of loitered a bit in order to say something to the jerk, but he just sat in his black Bentley pretending to be on a call.
I sure hope this ahole is not part of the management team at this otherwise great grocery store.

Was picking up a plant as a gift for a friend, had to wait for sometime before someone comes and wrap it for me. However the lady was super nice and apologized for the long wait.

Unfreshco. If you like rotten milk and playing chicken with expiry dates and cooking all your food the moment you get home go here. Multiple complaints from multiple people. Premium Prices. Longo must be rolling in his grave. Not formerly like this, new produce manager?

The cooking classes were good. So more than one star. Coasting on previous rep.

I live in the area and I like shopping in Longos. Some of their cashers are nice but there is this chubby lady who seems unhappy to work there and she is the meanest, not approachable at all.

The produce section is always better than any other grocery store I’ve been to and the meat section here is always very good especially the prepackaged beef no need to go up to the counter unless you need something specific

I usually buy lunch food at your place, but today I was surprised by the price of a small bowl rice snd chiquen $16'. 78. I ask the employees they told me that goes by the weight. Sorry your measures are totally out of normal range, paying for rice vs chicken vs veal is completely different, rice doenst have the same value of a beef and salad. SORRY IS THE SECOND TIME YOU GOT ME. NEVER AGAIN BUYING LUNCH FOOD THERE.other products like sandwiches are fair but that "food ready" $$$ is not for me and doesnt taste good for that price

This store used to be a five star. They had mature, seasoned cashiers. Recently they implemented self check out and for the staffed checkouts that are left they have dropped their seasoned staff in favour of poorly trained high school students. Having good customer service was a big reason we were willing to pay “Longos” prices. These changes have us reconsidering where we shop.

Produce is usually good. I also like the meat and fish. However, some employees are indifferent and not at all friendly. It seems a lot of them don't like working there. Not sure that I will bother to shop there anymore as I encounter this almost every time I'm there.

Stop here from time to time to grab my son a slice of pizza. He always loves it! They are always ready to serve and never a line up.

I might have been spoiled over the past 20 years living in the neighborhood in receiving the services from supermarkets with goods to be bagged at the same time after checked in at the cashier, but with the most recent experience at this particular store location in Oakville, cashier Zainab was waiting for her own customers to bag their own purchases without even paying any attention that help might be required with a full counter of purchases. Guess this is a new staff that might need training or if this is one of the new Longos policies to have customers bag their own purchases.
