This is what shopping should be! I had a great experience, came away with 3 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, a jacket and shoes. I really enjoyed my time with Al and I even learned some new things. A little pricey for shipping (most domestic shops will give you free for items at this price) but shipped fast and item was exactly what I was looking for. Basically a colourway of 70 chucks that isn't being reproduced (right now anyways). And these guys had it at regular retail price which was great

Alnoor is a pro. What a privilege to have his expertise working for you. Almost everything he had picked out was bang on. It was a fun afternoon (he spent far longer with me than the booked hour). I went in expecting to buy 4 or 5 items but left (happily) with 10.

Used to be the go-to locally for selvedge. Had some interesting denim, footwear etc. $15 for the privelage of entering the store? I'm good; It's a downtown menswear boutique not Maison Margiela. Just go to Nomad or Haven, they'll let you inside.
Edit: Mechanics & Dentists are licensed and accredited professionals with certifications. The cost comes from incredibly expensive specialized equipment that offers a specific and unique service, under supervised instructors and years of paid study. How is this the same? A mirror, change room & shelves aren't the same as a car lift, a brake lathe or anesthesia equipment, what are you talking about?

Just had a great experience at Loop. I was a little skeptical at first about the custom/appointment based shopping experience, and called the store because I just wanted to walk around and peruse the offerings. So I called the store, and they explained the philosophy behind the appointment based experience, and I was quite frankly, immediately put off. Still, I decided to check out what they had available through the online store instead (since I couldn’t go in physically) and it turns out the curation of their clothing collection is exceptional and I really did want to try a few things on. So I called back to get more info about booking an appointment, and learned a few things quickly. The store was closing in 30 minutes, all appointments were booked for the day, and the items I was interested in were at the warehouse anyways. Given that I was also heading out of town the next morning before the store would reopen, this is where with any normal shop the story would end…tragically. Instead, the owner, once he understood my situation said “hey, that’s what the custom experience is here for. ” And then he did all of the following: kept the store open for an extra 15 minutes to fit me in, went to the warehouse to pickup the clothing and bring it to the store so I could try it on, stayed an extra hour chatting with me about the various brands they carried, and trends in the industry, and gave me his cell number to text him if I had any issues at all. The whole experience was unexpected, absolutely brilliant, and so enjoyable that I am fully converted to this type of custom approach. This is a well run business, with a wonderful owner, that deserves the highest recommendations. Thank you!

After Covid, I hadn’t shopped for anything but sweatsuits. Now that I’m back to work, I’m happy I decided to book an hour with Al. Honestly, it’s a bargain! I have a hard time shopping for menswear anywhere else since experiencing the quality of clothing here at the Loop. The one on one service that Al offers is unique and well worth the fee he charges. The hardest part for me has been finding a timeslot that works with my schedule but Al is a guy who can make it happen and has gone well above and beyond for me on multiple occasions. I'm loving with these new Duer polos he has in stock right now. Actually the whole Duer line is pretty damn good.

Al really takes pride in the work he does, and it shows when you have your first consultation with him. He really cares about the little things and is genuinely there for whatever your needs are, instead of just pushing you to buy clothes/shoes. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to level up your fashion game!
