Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would have cosmetic surgery done. There were a couple of reasons, of course.
I thought about the embarrassment associated with the procedure. The cost. The pain. The recovery. Many things.
I am in my fifties and had lost a significant amount of weight over a few years. It was seriously hard to lose the excess skin and it was affecting how I felt about myself. In fact, it wasn't until AFTER the surgery that I realized just how much of a difference this 'extra' was causing me.
One evening I saw an ad for Dr. Hynes and Lotus Cosmetic and it just seemed like it went from that to actually getting the surgery and to now, six months later being recovered physically and I can't even fully describe the psychological and emotional change it has provided me. I had no idea it would make this much difference.
My experience with Dr. Hynes and his team was one where I felt 'part of'. I felt I could ask questions of all and answers were always forthcoming.
Dr. Hynes helped me to feel so comfortable during every interaction I had with him. He is consistently professional, calm, respectful, informative, and interested in his patient's input/feedback.
I was able to ask Dr. Hynes about other procedures I may be interested in having done (some of which he offered there himself) and he gave me his honest opinion that I didn't need any of those I mentioned (even though I was about to hire him to perform the procedure). I really appreciated this. It told me a lot about his integrity.
Dr. Hynes is a doctor I would certainly suggest you have a chat with when you are considering such a life altering medical procedure. He is an incredibly aware and learned physician who has a lovely, 'quiet' demeanour. My husband (who accompanied me on a few visits) and I are very happy with our experience with Dr. Hynes and his team and wish them all the best. Thank you.
PS. The fee for the procedure I had done was a competitive/comparable amount to other clinics and, to be honest for the benefit I have received as a result, I wish I had gotten it done sooner.:)

I had a cosmetic procedure done at Lotus and Dr. Hynes did a fantastic job. I can highly recommend him to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon.

Had the worst chemical skin peel experienced today. Been having my skin peel done in this clinic for many, many years (with Paula and Coleen). But today was absolutely the worst. When the chemical was applied on my face, I felt my face burning/tingling which is normal. However, when I asked for the (cold) blower that the previous aesthetician used during the procedure, I was informed that she (person doing my peel) doesn't know how to operate it. So instead of the chemical peel sitting on my face for at least 45 minutes, she had to wiped it off in less than 5 minutes because my face was as per her own word " frost" and I can feel it burning and can no longer tolerate it as there was no (cold) blower. So the supposed to be 45 minutes peel turned into less than 10 minutes and I was charged $169.00!
So disappointed and upset. I will never ever go back to have my skin peel in this clinic again. Need to find a new clinic.

Very happy with the results of my two recent surgeries performed by Dr Hynes. Great staff at Lotus as well, very accommodating. I highly recommend!

I had a great experience at Lotus. Dr. Hynes and his staff took great care of me and did a fabulous job on my Tummy tuck and I felt comfortable. The nurses were. Awesome and they changed my life for the better. Thanks to all the staff.

Exceeded my Expectations ️
I was recommended by my family Doctor to see Dr. Hynes. I was looking for a resolution to my chronic back/neck and shoulder pain. I wanted a surgeon who was going to listen to what I wanted as an end result while giving me the information to make an informed decision. His input was better than I could have ever hoped for. He is full of knowledge and kindness. I was incredibly impressed. He gave me all the information I needed and was quick to answer any questions I had. He was sure to make me feel comfortable at all times. Karyn is also extremely friendly and helpful at the front desk with a very welcoming smile. Phone calls are always returned in a timely matter. My overall experience was nothing less than perfect! My results are AMAZING! Dr Hynes is very talented. I feel so confident that my chronic pain is finally gone. I am still in healing phase from my breast reduction and all is going well. I would highly recommend Dr. Hynes to anyone!
