We order beef vindaloo and was the worst we ever try, the beef was cold and the sauce was too spicy we can’t eat it

I walked in for the first time ever yesterday afternoon. The server strongly recommended the Chicken Tikka Masala, and he was right, it was delicious. It contained a generous serving of thick chunks of white meat. I also had the bhindi masala, rice, naan, and raita. The raita was ok, but everything was fabulous. I will be coming back and looking forward to receiving other non butter chicken recommendations. Thank you for a delicious dinner.

A buddy and I decided to pop in on Friday night. OMG! It was the best meal I've had in ages. Garlic vegatable balls were unbelievable. Chicken Malai Kebab came sizzling to the table with lots of subtle flavour and the coconut curry shrimp was smooth and delicious. The owner is a great guy and the service was friendly, attentive and non-intrusive.

Everything is awesome about this place, the food is really delicious and their hospitality is amazing, the owner is so friendly, I loved this place it was the best Indian food in this neighborhood. For sure I ll go back tho this restaurant.

Underwhelming. The Butter Chicken was tangy and bland. The Mango Chicken was just not good, IMO. Had an off taste. The Saag Shrimp was bland. I just ate the shrimp with another sauce so my money wasn't utterly wasted. I guess I'm being generous with the 2 stars. Oh, well.

I just took my husband for his birthday dinner. What a find. A real gem in terms of service and food. Wonderful to find some creative dishes in addition to the favourites. Beautifully cooked and presented. And surprisingly reasonably priced for the quality of skill and ingredients. A new favourite.

We ordered the dinner for four. (For a birthday celebration.) It was phenomenal. My wife said, they really know how to cook. A great experience. Even the driver delivering the food seemed especially polite. We will definitely order from them again.

The manager is fabulous & main chef is also makes the delicious foodwith real indian taste alongwith excellent services.i recommend everyone to take visit atleast once.

First time dining there this eve and found it to be delicious and authentic with an extensive menu, fair prices, and excellent service. Plus they have an in house delivery service. Will definitely be dining with them again!

My new favorite place to get Indian food! I had lamb Madras with roti and mango chutney, and the carrot pudding for dessert.

I used to eat lamb from my uncle's farm in Uruguay and have tried the lamb at any place that offers it here in canada. I've struggled to find any place here that prepares it even modestly well.

Suffice it to say I've finally found one! This restaurant knows what they're doing!

The roti was clearly freshly made, it had a smoky aroma with every bite and it had just the right amount of oil. The mango chutney paired well with it too!

The spice levels were very mild, so I think this is a great place to introduce friends and family to Indian cooking as well:)

This might be some of the tastiest Indian food I've had. All the curries I tried were amazing but their naans aren't that good.

Ordered several times now. Fantastic value and flavour.generous sauce portions. Love the Bombay shrimp curry, aloo gobi masala, baigan bhartha, and the biryani. Butter chicken wasn't my taste (I think it was on the creamy side), but I've liked basically every other thing I've tried here. For the dishes I tend to order, three curries can last up to three meals for three people, and one biryani is easily two meals for me. Takeout has been anywhere between 20 to 40 minutes for an order. Love having such a good Indian restaurant in the neighbourhood!

The service in this restaurant is really bad. A girl who sits in the reception, she’s so rude. When i told her not to be rude, she was telling us to leave if we want. How does it feel like as a customer where they mentioned ‘Atithi Deva Bhava’. That’s ridiculous and terrible. Please behave well with customers.

Got the lamb dhansak and garlic naan. The lamb dhansak is fantastic! Well sized portions of both, very filling.

If you are looking for authentic fine Indian cuisine, Lotus doesn't disappoint! I lived in India for a year so I know what delicious Indian food tastes like and Lotus is my favourite Indian restaurant in Toronto. I always have difficulty trying to decide what to order because everything is just so good!

Delicious authentic Indian food. I enjoyed another freshly cooked meal at this restaurant last weekend. I appreciate that PK could accommodate my taste and spice preferences.
The new wines on the menu are a nice addition. Compliments on the renovations and new interior that give the restaurant a contemporary and comfortable atmosphere.
It is admirable that PK and his team have weathered the COVID restrictions without compromising the quality of food or service. I wish Lotus Restaurant much continued success and all the best for 2022.

The ambiance is good and the food is tasty. I wasn't impressed with the portion of chana masala or the $17 for 6 pieces of cauliflower. I have also never been to an indian restaurant that didnt give rice with the main dishes. I had to buy an order of rice for $5. Again, the food was good, cant say it was amazing, but as good as any other indian restaurant I've been to. I would recommend lotus, but with a warning to not expect leftovers.

Lotus is the perfect neighbourhood spot for dine in or take out. Great location right at Avenue Rd and Lawrence. Service is excellent. Food is always fresh and flavourful, and portions are really generous. We find that a normal dinner order provides two meals for us. Prices are pleasantly reasonable as well. If you're nearby, or even if you're not, you should give Lotus a try.

We had a dinner party for 20 people catered by Lotus Indian Cuisine. They delivered right on time, steaming hot and delicious. My guests raved about the food. The staff at Lotus were a pleasure to deal with.

Consistently good and flavourful with fresh ingredients. Since the pandemic began many restaurants have started using old meat and bad food but this place always has fresh and tasty food, super flavourful and generous proportions. Thank you for remaining consistently high quality even during this difficult time.

Great food and Service - stopped by on a whim as I was driving by and all 3 vegetarian dishes we ordered were the best versions of ali ghobi, saag paneer and the tomato and Okra dish that we've had in recent memory.rice was perfect as well

Wonderful service, delicious food, and good portions. We got the dinner for two - which includes a meat dish, a vegetable dish, veggie pakora or garlic balls (SO GOOD!), basmati rice, and naan. It was so much food that we couldn’t finish it all! The presentation was great and the food authentic. Will return soon.

Just ok food nothing special. Compared to say Little India on Queen Street W.this food was like cheap fast food. Bland and with no inspiration. My wife and I have travelled all through india and I was expecting something similar. What we got was disappointing to say the least and the atmosphere was equally bland and the staff unprofessional. Rest: Non-Vegetarian Mains, butter chicken, masala and curry had too much oil in the sauces. Too greasy for taste.

The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered chiclen tikka with lacha parata (bread). I enjoyed it a lot. Next time i will try their desserts.

Nice quick comfort food during the pandemic. A bit pricey for what my friend and I ordered but all around not bad, but not great. I have had much better but it's ok if you want quick takeout or delivery. I would have given 3 stars but for the price we were expecting something much better,

I spent a year living in India and fell in love with the cuisine. Lotus Fine Indian Cuisine is the only restaurant in Toronto that comes close to the delicious food that I experienced in India. You will not be disappointed!

This is one of my favorite Indian food restaurants in Toronto. The food is really delicious! Their samosas are the best as well as their tandoori chicken.

Enjoyed another fabulous meal from Lotus tonight! They never disappoint. Butter chicken, saag paneer, and samosas to die for. So glad they’re in the neighbourhood…wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The most wonderful Indian restaurant! The food is so tasty, you will want to keep coming back over and over again. Everything tasted so fresh, you can they put so much attention to your food. Worth every penny! And to top all that they have a wonderful staff as well, making you feel so homely and catering to your taste buds. If I could put 10 stars, I would. You must must must try their food, you will keep coming back!
