Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant

We loved the vegetarian sesame chicken, stuffed tofu, and noodles- these 3 dishes were probably enough to feed 6. I can't wait to return and try some of the other options.

This is a Chinese style pure vegetarian restaurant. They don't serve any kind of meat here.
All their dishes are mock meat and mock sea food.
Loved the taste and the menu is pretty extensive so going there once won't do the justice to all the delicious dishes.
Whatever we tried was really tasty The service was very fast and I loved the taste.

Very good vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The lemon chicken was slightly soy flavoured but texture worked nicely.
The beef had a very spam like texture and flavour, in a good way.
I will definitely come back to try more.

Lotus Vegetarian, New Year - The prices we went to eat at were shockingly high. It’s okay to say that the prices were high, but all the food was halved. Normally we usually go there to dine and the quality is good, but we didn’t expect that all the food would change during the New Year. Even if you think You have to make money in moderation. I’m not saying you can’t increase the price, but if you want to make money, it’s not that outrageous. It’s simply too much. 8 bowls of rice for $20 doesn’t mean that we are too stingy, but it’s just the same as usual.

I had lunch with my mom today and ordered a bunch of different dim sum. When we looked at the dim sum sheet we mostly chose the dishes at $3.69 - $3.99. However when the bill came all dishes cost $4.5! I said that's not the price when I ordered and then the staff showed me another dim sum sheet in more expensive prices and said these are the new prices! This place is totally a scam! Make sure you check your bill, tho it might not be helpful as at the end they refused to correct the price! This place is totally a scam and criminal!

Delicious Buddhist cuisine though the setting does look a bit dated.

The dishes are all vegetarian but some of the imitation meat dishes are so close you might forget it's plant based!

Definitely get the imitation meat items, the plainer vegetable stir frys are good but really nowhere near as interesting as the specialty items.

Very pleased! The food is authentic in taste and is completely vegetarian. The server was kind and helpful. The taro fish was a novelty but also tasty, and they recommended that the sauce should be used sparingly to taste. We did end up ordering way more food than necessary due to the large portions but i would come again to try more dishes.

The food here really exceeded my expectations! While the atmosphere is nothing to write home about (average Chinese restaurant), the dishes I tried were incredibly delicious and satisfying. I loved the lemon "chicken" and the black pepper "beef". They tasted meaty and were well seasoned and flavourful. The vegetables were also really fresh and cooked just right. Even the service was wonderful. Our server was friendly and cheerful. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be returning.

We've been coming to this restaurant for 30 years or more. The staff are always so happy to see you. The food is truly amazing. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, then this place is highly recommended. Truly a great experience as always.:)

I've been going here for what I believe could be about 8 years. I love it, food is good and staff is friendly. Although, they obviously have an easier time speaking to a Chinese than other people. Doesn't bother me at all when going alone but easier experience with group of friends that atleast one speaks Chinese.

Anyways, I wish this restaurant would evolve quicker by including what is vegan and what is vegetarian on their menu. Please make this happen! There's been a few screw ups over the years but I don't have expectations of a perfect world, so it doesn't bother me.

I cannot find old dishes that I would have long ago anymore on the menu. Whatever happen to Malaysian style tofu?
