Only problem with this site is that it's a short hike. The falls were minimal because of the time of year, have to go back in the spring.

Great little hiking area. However, we went there around 7pm and the sounds of bird bangers from the surrounding vineyards were extremely loud, incessant, and coming from all directions. There was also some sort of sonic device creating a sound similar to a security alarm, perhaps a bat deterrent - however, that noise was only audible near the parking lot. Bird bangers (simulated gunshots to scare birds and other animals from the eating crops) have been successfully replaced by silent alternatives in many areas, so it's a bit sad and frustrating that they are ruining this beautiful and otherwise enjoyable conservation area. I can't even imagine the effect on the local wildlife. As far as human recreation is concerned, I am hoping perhaps the noise isn't as bad earlier in the day.

Quiet place. Easy terrain. Gorgeous scenery. All the moss covered rocks. The rock trails and the falls. All so beautiful. Found it by accident, will be going back.

Trail is smooth and well traveled for the most part. Beware of exposed roots and rocky areas that may be moss covered and slippery with numerous crevices and cracks that can be ankle busters. It was a short, beautiful walk to Lloyd Oliver falls. Lots of wineries nearby to enjoy a glass before or after your hike.

A spectacular hiking spot lots of spring flowers in bloom. It is a nice place to see lower falls and top falls. Great place for a picnic and wonderful walk.not a lot of parking but it's free.

I would imagine you could spend all day here if you wanted with all the different little trails. We were just stopping through and even though we weren't even there for more then a half hour it was still I nice visit with a lot of beautiful pieces of nature to take in. This is another one that if we had more time and didn't have a few other things on the agenda that we would have for sure stuck around and explored even deeper. This was one of our last stops before hitting the road to make it home overnight.

Louth Conservation Area takes you to a path of wonderful views and to Louth Falls, trail is kids and dog friendly, there is no bathroom, parking lot is limited, bring mosquito repellent in summer and wear proper footwear specifically in winter (ice cleats highly recommended).
