Fairly good service during prime day hours that seems to fade a bit during the evening, but HD is no different. Price matching always gets a star in my books and overall staff are friendly and ready to help.

Tons of workers, no actual help in appliances. However, at the customer service, they did there very best to help and I left with my product.

Very disappointed with service. Went to buy a lawn mower at Lowes at 8: 30 this evening. Waited 10-15 minutes for someone to show up. At least the automated system to call someone does not fail. Eventually 2 people show up, go get me a cart, and place a lawn mower on the cart. I asked if that was the one I wanted, and the response was kinda "hey old man we know what we are doing". It was directly under the display I wanted. Get to the cash, and apparently some people have not heard about the making "assumptions" parable. Anyway not the correct unit. I just leave, and then reenter to the customer service desk. I ask for the manager, explain my displeasure and leave. No apology, not even an oopsie.

I purchased dipladinia plants this season and they were infested with spider mites which have now infested all of my planters and many plants are dying. I went back there this week to purchase insecticidal soap and noticed that the dipladinia plants that they were selling were infested with mealy bugs. I pointed this out to the person in charge of the garden centre but he was not very concerned about this. Do not buy plants here!

It's Lowe's. Lots of stuff, some offers, different than that of competitors, same as Rona (which they own so no surprise there. An enormous home and renovation store à l'américaine as expected.
I like it but it's nothing like the specialised knowledge you get by a small town shop.

Purchased a Gazebo online and had to cancel the order the next day as my wife ordered one from another store. It’s been over a week now and I still don’t have my refund. Called them and they said that there was a glitch in the system and they would send another email saying my credit card would be refunded and that I would have to wait another week to receive my refund. I don’t understand what takes so long. They can charge an account immediately but takes a week for a refund. Because it’s taking so long I will get dinged with interest which they will not cover and it’s there mistake. Once my refund is done and I hope I get it soon as it’s over 2300 dollars I will keep my business to Home Depot

Garden Centre is decent. I’m there to support an enthusiast, but it seems pretty good from what I’m told and see. Been here a few times versus once elsewhere.

We were looking for appliances for our home and had gone to 3 stores before going into Lowe's. We were discouraged with the service we had received and had no clue what we were looking for. Laura was amazing. She approached us and asked us if she could help. She took the time find out what would best suit our family and proceeded to show us around the show room plus look up appliances on the computer. Once we had an idea of what we wanted, she took the time to guide us with the choice of our farm house sink, then proceeded to take us to the flooring department and set us up with an associate there too. We did not purchase the appliances since we won't be ready for them till October but we will be going to Lowes to purchase them. Thank you Laura for your patience, knowledge and your time!

Lowes did not have the items I purchased online. They could have told ne when they took my money, when they confirmed that my order was ready for pick up, when I scheduled a pick up time, when I called to say I was at their curb side pick up location, but no. I waited in my car for 45 minutes only to be told my items were not in the store. Do not purchase gardening supplies for curb side pick up from Lowes.

Amiel (sorry for the spelling) the assistant manager was a huge help. Was looking for a John Deere mower and I couldn't find one anywhere, this location had one of the last one in both Ottawa/Gatineau. He helped me out with making sure it was ready for me and the pick of it was super smooth. I was in/out in 20 mins and great service from the staff that helped me load this thing into my truck. Great job, will definitely be back for future purchases.

I just had a Horrible experience at Lowe’s at 3828 innes road, I went there to purchase an umbrella item: 808555 for 399$, I called the store to make sure the item was available, and they indeed told me it was available, i went to the store and one of the store associate told me that they do have 1 left, and she proceeded to go in the back of the store to bring the item, I went to the cash and I was told this is a 700$ umbrella, I said fine, bring me the one that I came here for and they told me, that one was sold out and if I want another one that I should pay the 700$.
It’s pointless to call the store and ask if the item is available. Even when the store clerk went to the warehouse, she could have scanned the item to avoid me to drag the big box to the cashier. I asked to speak to a store manager, I spoke to Laura (assistant manager) which wasn’t any help. I asked Laura if the store manager is available since she wasn’t trying to help. She said his name is Eric and he was not in today.frustrated, annoyed and disappointed I left the store and decided to call the store so I can speak to another manager, to my surprise Eric the store manager (who was suppose to be off for the day as per his assistant Laura) answered my call, long story short he wasn’t any helpful either, I was not asking for free umbrella, all I was asking is for compromise or to be compensated for the money I paid for the truck I rented, I will never go back to that store again nor spend my money.

Staff at the garden center were fantastic helping load several hauls of paving stones into our trailer. Started with a young guy who brought senior help to operate the forklift, then through to the cashier at the end for purchase. All helpful and friendly.

During covid lockdown times of curbside pickup only, Lowe's was fulfilling/picking online orders in under 2 days.while the competition was taking almost 7! So, if I need something for a project I'd recommend you get it here instead.

My experience has been extremely poor with Lowes during Covid. Homedepot, Rona and even Canadian tire don't have this level of poor inventory management. I have on numerous occasions made purchases online that were cancelled due to inventory miss match at Lowe's locations. What's the point of offering looking up inventory at different locations if that inventory is bound to be incorrect? Price matching is another thing. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with customer service for an extremely simple price match that would have taken 2-3 minutes in the store. Over a year in Covid and this company hasn't adjusted their processes for online/phone.

Bought a couple of Majesty Palms in the garden centre for a great price. The check out was very organized and quick. And, they followed the garden centre's capacity limits.

Customer service received for my online order was abysmal and a giant waste of time. Ordered materials were offered to me damaged and bundled together by masking tape instead of in boxed packaging. I declined the damaged materials and was made to wait for an employee who did not return. Upon calling store I was told that all they could do was refund me and I would have to place another order at another store and try again.

Called customer service after and spoke to an agent who sounded like she absolutely couldn't be bothered. Phone call culminated with her asking me "What do you want me to do? " and being hung up on. I get people in the age of lockdowns people are tired but come on, I was frustrated, not rude. Is it really too much to ask for Lowes to help me out when they botched by order? Sorry sir, roll the dice again and maybe we'll deliver this time, maybe not. Good luck.

Do not make special orders at Lowe's! The original quote for getting my windows in October said 28 days, I asked if covid would cause delays and they said maybe a few weeks but that's it. It's been 6 MONTHS now and I call every few weeks and they keep telling me soon, soon or 'in a few days'. Lowe's is either dishonest or clueless about their custom orders.

For anyone using curbside pickup, proceed with caution. Three days later my order isn’t ready for pickup which is a huge inconvenience. When I called to inquire about the order they explained they were a few days behind. Called Head Office and they explained there was nothing they could do and getting a refund would take even longer. Placed an order last night at Canadian Tire and already picked up my order. Clearly Lowe’s doesn’t have their act together when other stores do.

Shopping at Lowe's is always a pleasant experience. The staff is always ready to help and provide useful advice. As returning items is easy and without any issues. In all, it is easy to recommend this store.

Curbside pickup allowed me to get what I needed to finish my basement reno. Pulled phoned the store and my order was out in less than five minutes.

Lowe's does not impress me much. Used to be a fan of them. Competition for Home Depot but I'm not overly impressed with Lowe's selection or some of their prices. I typically go to Cdn Tire or Home Depot. I also find their service overall mehh.

Staff is always so impossible to find I the store. I o my come here because it’s the closest to my house.but Home Depot is so much better.

The store was rearranged, which is ok. Except, even though there were lots of staff wandering the store and they obviously saw me looking around the store for an item, no one approached to try to help me. Trying to catch a staff member walking around was just as difficult.

Purchased a Mastercraft snow blower from here less than a year ago, used it 3 times. After that it would no longer start. Call Lowes and got the run around for 3 hours. Finally got somewhere only to find out i had to take it into a repair shop it get fixed. Lucky I had someone with a truck to help. The repair turned out to be a bad spark plug, wow only after using 3 times which I have to pay for because they consider this maintenance, maintenance after 3 uses. Got no where with Lowes, so I will not be purchasing anymore large items from there. I realize this is a manufacturing problem but if you are going to sell their product and upsell extended warranty they should be a little helpful and have more answers for you instead of selling it and washing your hands out it.

I feel compelled to leave a review due to the very positive experience I just had. Not one, not two, but three employees went out of their way to predict my needs and help me out. It was literally the best hardware store shopping experience I’ve ever had.
The gentleman named Benghooz saw on two separate occasions that I was looking for something and came right up to me to help me find it and explain my options. A nice gentleman whose name I didn’t catch saw me trying to go out an entrance and realized I’d forgotten a cart and asked if I needed help with heavy items. Finally, the cashier Diana was also kind and helpful.
Every time I go to Home Depot on Innes, I can never get anyone to help me even when I’m actively looking for someone and asking for help. Today at Lowe’s Innes road, helpful staff were right there are every turn, eager to assist me. Thank you.

It's Lowe's.better and cleaner looks then Rona had that's for sure. Service could improve a bit with a bit more staff but besides I have no complaints so far. Just to give you an idea, I have my business registered with both Lowes and Home Depot and I usually choose Lowe's over the home Depot. For one, as a small business I find their rewards/savings program to be alot simpler and it's easier to understand. I also like the selection for the brand quality and warranty over the price. Another thing I wanted to add is that I find it easier to navigate through the aisles.

The Delivery of my wood stove cost me 83$ and they came unannounced in the 15 minute period I was not home. The delivery service dispatch told me that it would be delivered the next day, I waited most of the day at home and it didn't show up. I called the delivery service back and they said they could not longer deliver it and to call the store. After 20 minutes trying different lowes departments and getting transferred around I was told that they could not deliver again for another 8 days which it too late to complete the job. Only use delivery if you are going to stay home every minute of the day.

Good store. Pat and Jacob in seasonal are very knowledgeable and have excellent customer service. Helped me this summer in selecting the best gazebo, patio furniture and lawn mower for my new house. Arranged all the boxes to take home within 10 minutes. Liam - who loaded my purchases up - was careful and assisted me in making sure the boxes wee secure. Looking forward to buy a new snowblower from them this today.

Shinny store but not sure about the quality of items compared to Home Depot. Feels like Home Depot carries better quality items. Service is more knowledgeable at Home Depot.
