Great location and great staff. Don't go to early or late as they work on skeleton staff and you might not get anyone to answer your questions.

The level of incompetence at this store is frankly unbelievable. Ordered picnic tables (after many hours of running around in the store), store said they would contact in 4-5 days, never called, reached out over a week later, yes they arrived, returned to store, store loaded wrong tables (didn’t know at the time), went to setup and found they were wrong. Returned to store, ordered tables had been sold in the meantime and no where to be found. Had to drive to Belleville to get proper ones.

Friendly helpful staff who do their best to help their clients including when they're crazy busy already booked in design appointments. My son and I fairly waited for our turn and had terrific help in the Kitchen, Appliances, Trim, and Electrical department. We bought a kitchen and several other items. The young woman who checked us out at the commercial desk went above and beyond when she understood I'm partially deaf so she wrote everything down, and then even signed! I hope Lowe's Management know they have excellent staff in Kingston even though they are extremely busy. Thanks everyone!

Great store, customer service supplied by Isaac in the flooring department was outstanding!
I will return to this store soon as other projects are in the mix.

Hi. I am one of your recent customers who bought a washer and dryer and got it delivered and installed on 04/10/21. Firstly shout out to Chris from the appliances department who gave us good customer service. He was attentive to our needs, wears a smile all the time and was pleasant in the words he used.

However the same cant be said for the delivery and installation guys. First and foremost they were complaining non-stop from the moment of unloading the items from their truck. E.g There was not enough space to carry the items through the parking space, they do not have the items required for installation and etc.

In addition, they did not turn on the knobs for the hot and cold water pipes connected to the wall, resulting in the washing machine not being able to generate water during the wash. So the poor wife and I have to drag out the heavy stacked machines, squeeze between the small space we created, and turn it on. Thank god it worked out in the end. However, the inefficiency of your staffs just caused us unnecessary inconvenience, trouble, wasted time and energy.

Please do review this case and improve your post-purchase customer service standards. I am utterly disappointed by this incident and hope to have a more pleasant experience in the future. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.

Very good selection of the items I was looking for and lots in stock. Staff were more than ready to help upon requesting it.there was ample parking spaces. There were no line up to get into the store upon arriving at the checkout there were no line ups at all and staff got me through the checkout in a timely fashion.

Purchases were great, prices were great, customer service was great. Two stars lost for lack of management of staff. There were lines at customer service/returns and lines at pickups, yet two staff were working these areas. There were 7 other staff, all within the area who were chatting (one In a group of 4). I suspect most aren't even trained to work there busy areas and that is the problem. Management should cross train employees, in different areas, so when demands for one area increase, the employee can temporarily be re-assigned. If other agree, Like My Post!

Awesome experience with Janice (Service desk manager) and Jason the store manager. I was having difficulty with the service desk clerks over a price reduction on products I purchased.

Janice and Jason stepped in and swiftly made things better than right and showed why its worth being a loyal Lowes client. Janice called me when they had time to review my purchase and was exceptionally polite and courteous on the phone, she showed exceptional leadership and understanding. We will be back to shop.a lot more!

It's like pulling teeth trying to get any assistance. Staff were not friendly or approachable, and were quite rude when asked questions. Will shop elsewhere for work supplies.

While the in-store experience buying appliances was great, getting delivery of the items you've paid for is a whole other story! Never buy appliances here if you actually ever want to receive and use them! I was given a date for delivery, no one showed up, no one called and when I contacted the store they said someone had written on my file that the customer wasn't ready for delivery - yeah sure? Then when I tried to get a new delivery date it was two and a half weeks later - hopefully someone will show up this time! The worst is the buck-passing, no one takes any responsibility! Surprised they're still in business!

Update: Not 24hrs after this posting I was contacted to receive delivery of my appliances on the weekend. This time they arrived as expected. It's unfortunate and completely unnecessary that my experience was so negative. Clearly customer relations and communications training is required for all managers and staff.

I'm a Home Depot person, but I got to say, I was impressed by the quality of the lumber at Lowe's. At HD, you got searched to get a straight piece, but Lowe's, great quality all the way.

I ordered a washer online with the assistant of the store as had waited for over 2.5 months elsewhere. I was assured I would have it within 2 weeks, 5 days later it us in my home. Was impressed with the promt delivery

Their curb side service is TERRIBLE, curb side should be a same-day pick up, not half a week. I made sure and it was confirmed I did a curb side order. When I asked about my order, I was told most orders are taking 24-48hrs. I’m going on day 4 as of tomorrow, waiting for a curb side pickup for a garbage can I could have probably ordered and received in 2 days by Amazon. Real shame. I hope they hire more staff to help with what seems like an overload of orders or better organization skills. I can’t imagine the stress and potential backlash the staff are getting if people are actually waiting 3-4 days for “curb side”.

Beyond disappointed with their curb side orders, with HomeDepot the worst case scenario has been next day with these guys 3-4 days. If you are busy just hire more staff.

I understand the curb side pick up consists in: check out the inventory in Kingston (I did: 12 units available), then pay (I did) and pick it up in within few hours.

Well it seems this simple buy doesn't work in Kingston, Ontario. I was told that there is a small print saying "it could take 24 hours"

Drywall sheet prices are now not shown on website so they can charge more then other places. Most of the lumber is warped as well. I used to prefer shopping here but lately I just go to HD.

Some of their items on sale are fair price comparison with Home Depot, but they didn't have most items as Home Depot have. That's why I give it a three stars rating, if they have more variety, I would shop there more, and hated driving around for the item that I want.

Need to up their game on order on line pick up in store. Ordering and paying was seamless. Stood in the store 20 minutes picking up. Could have shopped their faster.

If you’re doing curb side pickup, save yourself the extra 25 mins that you’ll have to wait in the parking lot and go to Home Depot.

Tried to give them a second and third chance but same thing each time, waiting over 25 mins in the parking lot.

They don't accept Air Miles anymore and the cashier just looked at us and said we don't accept air miles.like WHAT? She just acted as if they never have? Will not be going as much as we used too now anyway.

Usually shop at HD but needed a specific product to match an existing project. Over 4 hour wait so far for curbside compared to the typical 30-60min at HD or Rona. If you are looking for a quick turnaround on a major project I would look to the other retailers.

Curbside pickup went great. We needed to chop a pipe in half to fit in our vehicle and the employee was nice enough to offer to hold it for us. Luckily it was a 12 ft pipe and we could stay socially distanced. Very short wait time.

My pick for home hardware vs the other big brands. Comes down to availability of service. Seem to be higher staffed and everyone I've talked to have been very knowledgeable and helpful.

Clean store and friendly staff who were very helpful. I drove all the way from Montreal to get an item that was not available in a local store. I would totally do it again!

Makita gas powered compressors are terrible you would be lucky to get 6 months out of them if I could give a no star review I would makita should just give up

Okay, the staff are great, the store is not. According to the Web site there was 61 of what I wanted in stock. I went there, bought 21, there was 41 in stock, and surprise there were 0, that is ZERO, available. Earlier someone tried to buy more that 20 and bought the last 16. I checked again tonight, still says there are 21. Canadian Tire please take over Lowes, if you can apply your inventory management system you'll double their profits and be able to drop prices. They offer me similar item for $1 (33% more) than the other item, not same price, higher one.
