I received a lower quote for my car insurance and the agent was knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the policy and asked if I had any questions.

So I came across this site as I was looking for auto insurance. I inputted the info required thinking this isn't going to change much.
I received a call and when the quote was made, I was stunned. I actually replied " what! Are you serious? " my premium was $1870 which I thought was good now it's $1200 Because of lowest rates.
Always use a Broker!

Don't fill out their online form. They will harass you non stop after you do. Call to each of the companies because at the end of the day, they will suggest that you use Swoop Insurance everytime who is directly affiliated with this site so no wonder its going to be the cheapest.

It is a good place to compare the rates as they look though all the available companies and options. Apparently after looking into my information, they gave me quote higher then I am already paying. So I have to stick to my current insurance company. Just not quite happy I drive less with less mileage, and car is over 10 years old, but somehow I still have to pay more, with no accident, no tickets.to my current insurer. Just "because everything else goes up". Anyhow if someone thinks they pay too much those guys are the right people to contact.

Interview took a while but they do have to ask a fair number of questions and broker moved along as fast as she could while giving clear explanations and useful and helpful advice without trying to upsell to higher cost premium. Ended up with an equivalent home and auto insurance package that was less than half of what I was currently paying my current carrier. Personnel were friendly, courteous and appreciative of the new business. 5 star experience thus far!

The first person I spoke to, intake operator, was great! Then I was transferred to a broker. My quote went from approx $69 per month to $293.35+ because my daughter was rear ended which was NOT her fault. So much for no fault insurance. This company plays a great bait and switch. Stay away from these guys.

The insurance they recommended (pembridge) is one of the worst available in Canada according to reviews. It was only 50 dollars cheaper per year than the cooperators, which had a better website and is highly rated. The alternatives they showed me were much, much more expensive. Shop around yourself, don't use this site.

At first I was like "hold on! Is it a scam? " Then I investigated a bit more and I realized it's 100% legit! I cannot believe the quote I got today from Lowest Rate Canada and Scoop Insurance! I called Lowest Rates yesterday as a follow-up to an incredible auto insurance quote. I spoke with Karla. It was a horrible experience. I would not recommend it. I was quoted $97 a month online and, by the end of our call, was quoted $170+. The most troubling part of this encounter was that the substantial increase was based on a not at fault incident in 2016. I have a clean record and have never been at fault for an accident. She couldn’t provide a rationale – outside of saying that both drivers were at fault, which made absolutely no sense. Long story short, I spoke to 10 insurance companies yesterday, no one ever held me accountable for the not-at-fault accident that took place – and I was able to secure a rate of $112 a month with full coverage. Don’t waste your time with the lowest rates. Also, I propose some customer service training. Save yourself the headache and go directly to the insurance provider for your quote.

Deceitful. The rates given by the website were not accurate for me. I put in accurate information but the rates I received on the website were not the same when I phoned to try and get same.

This was a great site, let you see many rates at once rather than go one by one. A very eye opening experience to see how many companies out there that are clearly overcharging for the same insurance!

Quotes are completely inaccurate. When I called in the premium was nearly $100 per month more because the online quotes do not consider many of the factors so that they can provide a higher number of quotes.

This seems like a scam. When we got our "lowest rate" it was 2x higher then we expected. When we examined what was offered we noticed that none of the major banks were listed as having the lowest rate (or at all) s for Auto and Home insurance. We called them and immediately got a quote for 50% lower then the "lowest" insurance listed on this site. Major banks in Canada almost always have the lowest insurance rates. Don't bother with this, do your own research and shop around.

Used this site for new car insurance and got a shock for the premium it offered. Went on td and cibc insurance sites with the same info and got quotes for 40% to 50% lower. Still shopping around for better rates. You should use this site for your high end insurance quote and shop around for better rates.
