Absolutely the best boarding kennel I’ve ever worked with - always incredible with my dog, quick to return emails/calls, and just generally lovely people. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Meidän was at Loyalist Barkway for a week and I was so worried about leaving our puppy for so long. Loyalist Barkway took such good care of our pup, the updates and pictures were so reassuring. We will use Loyalist Barkway whenever our puppy needs a day or night away. We can't thank the staff enough for taking care of our fur baby! We appreciate all the staff and how great they are.

We have used Barkway for both daycare and overnight stays! Wonderful place, dogs are always happy and well taken care of:) Staff are also friendly and it's a bonus you can add services such as nail trims!

Our dogs are on their fourth visit to Loyalist Barkaway and we are so thankful to have found them! Our dogs are so excited to get there and exhausted when they get home! The privacy option they offer was what garnered our interest when searching for a new pet care option. Offering accommodation for anxious doggos is a rarity but so necessary.

It is clear the staff love dogs and are dedicated to taking care of your fur babies when you can’t be with them. The peace of mind sending our dogs there is worth every cent, and their affordable rates help! So thankful to have found Jon and crew! Highly recommend!

MAGIC loves all the attention that he gets. Spa - bath and pedicure always a treat too. Looks forward to play and romp time with the other pooches. John and his staff are always putting the dogs needs first! Very good place when you have to leave your pets behind - safe and secure.

I 100% recommend Loyalist Barkway Boarding Kennels! John and the team are amazing there and took wonderful care of our dog, Finn, when we had to go away for 2 weeks and couldn’t bring him with us.

We decided to try Loyalist Barkway because of all of the positive reviews and after reading through their well laid-out website and FAQs. I like having all of the information up front and forward like that.

To help ensure Finn was a good fit with the kennel, and vice-versa, as well as to help introduce him and get him used to the staff and staying there, we had a tour and then a trial stay. We were very impressed with how secure the kennel is laid out. We were also amazed when John took Finn’s leash and led Finn down the hall to his room and Finn walked with him no problem! Finn has always shut down or pulled on the leash when he was unsure of a new place or when someone he didn’t know tried leading him. Thats when we knew he trusted John and was in good hands.

Finn stayed at Loyalist Barkway Kennel for 2 weeks while we were away and he was in great shape and in great spirits when we picked him up. John and the team took great care of him and went above and beyond to ensure he was eating too, since he has had a history of refusing food when we are away.

Loyalist Barkway Kennels will be our future go-to choice when we need somewhere for Finn to stay, because we will know he is having a good time and is in good hands.

John, Veronica, Rebecca and their staff are wonderful with our beagles. They provide an caring safe environment for our pets, are very accommodating if your dog has special needs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for dog care.

John and his team have been amazing! We don't usually leave our dogs for long periods of time but with a move coming up we needed a place we could trust with our sweet pups. John and his team went above and beyond for our dogs helping with socialization and making our skiddish girl feel comfortable. I recommend loyalist Barkway if you want a home away from home for your dogs!

I appreciate John and the team. My dog, Socrates (Socs) is always EXCITED when we pull into the driveway. John has had no issues with me calling during Socs' stays, when I just want to hear how he's doing for reassurance. The facility is really clean and well laid out. When I drop Socs off, John (or a team member) greets us happily and communicates about past visits. Again, I can not voice how much I appreciate this kennel. The prices are also very reasonable + they give free visits after so many stays. A drive from Kingston, yes, but it is well worth it!

We boarded our shipoo for 3 nights while away for an event and based on previous stays at chain kennel sites we were much happier to have a more well-planned and personal experience at Loyalist! It was nice that there was a different small dog outdoor area and that staff were able to/ made the effort to have one-on-one time with our dog too!

My rescue Luna has stayed with Loyalist Barkway several times over the past two years that I have owned her. She is quite anxious, especially when meeting new people or in a busy environment.and After spending years in a Texas shelter, I expected that boarding may be triggering for her. John, Rebecca and the entire team are fantastic with her. They recommended “privacy” and have even worked with her to the point where she is excited about going there, even just to get her nails trimmed monthly. She feels comfortable and listens well to them, showing off her affectionate personality. She has played with another doggo steadily at outdoor time and it has gone great. Moose stayed there for 9 nights last week and did great thanks to the special care and attention from John and his staff. Moose has anxiety so we were not sure how he would do. John made himself available to us to check on Moose and while it was not needed it was good to know we had option. Highly recommend the Loyalist Barkway.

The kennel is very well laid out, and the staff are very knowledgeable. Unfortunately it's a little far for us to travel to drop our dogs off. The owner John was very accommodating by setting up a tour of the kennel and also understanding by refunding my deposit when we realized that the distance was too far. If in the area, I would definitely feel comfortable leaving my dogs at this kennel.

Kiwi, our 4-year old Golden mix, had his first overnight Kennel experience in November. We recently moved to Bath and were a little nervous to let Kiwi somewhere new. John and his team were great. Kiwi got the privacy package and everything went smoothly. Next time we travel, we know where to let Kiwi:)
