Amazing gluten-free selection and certainly one of the best places in town to get meat and cheese. I come here often for sandwiches and leave with a few pantry staples. I highly recommend taking a look at the unique items they have for sale!

I have been a customer for over 20
years. I may not be a regular but its my go to location for quality foods. We had a family grill yesterday and the sausage was fabulous. For all the veal, sausage, and cheese over the years, my family thanks you.

I've been a customer for 20 years and today I got sick from one of their roast beef sandwiches. I observed that they're not washing their hands after coughing and sneezing and I also observed the cashier reach into the meat tray with her dirty hands and grab herself a piece which she ate in the food prep area. I'll be placing a report with Ottawa Public Health. Just as soon as I can leave the washroom without fear.

The best deli sandwich in town. They also have a variety of imported goods. A shining star inside Little Italy.

Ive only ever bought their sandwiches so my review is only based on that. They can make you a customized deli sandwich but i highly recommend their beef or stuffed veal sandwiches. They are amazing. Roast are cooked daily and all the veggies are always fresh. Never disappoints!

Good quality food at fantastic prices, but excellent service. I enjoy thé hospitalité and professionalism of thé staff and thé expérience immensely.

If I wanna assemble my own charcuterie plate, I go to Luciano’s ~ superb deli choices, great variety of cheeses, and delicious Italian sweets and treats (then I pop by next door, Pietro’s Corner, for delightful fresh pasta and sauce:).

I needed chicken thighs and presto! They weren't pre-wrapped, however they cut them fresh for me.

Stumbled upon this store one day looking for something for lunch. The deli sandwiches are great, made fresh to order. Staff are friendly and polite.

STILL NOT ACCEPTING CREDIT CARDS DURING PANDEMIC! UNBELIEVABLE! Luciano's is a very small grocery store, not much larger than most people's living rooms. So unfortunately, staying 2m from other customers impossible. They do cram in a lot of Italian food products that you will not find at major grocery chains. Nice butcher counter to find a variety of their own homemade sausages, cuts of veal, etc. Unfortunately service has dropped over the years. Cashiers hold out their hands waiting for money lol. Smiles are few and far between. You might expect this at chain stores, but not a small family run business.

Most shocking is the fact that while virtually every business/store has begun accepting credit cards during the pandemic, Luciano's is holding steadfast to cash or debit only. Given many people don't turn on debit card tap feature (for bank account security purposes), this in effect forces many customers of Luciano's into 'contact' purchases. Not sure what their rational for staying away from credit cards is. Tax purposes? Dunno, but as an Italian, I find it a stain on our community when an Italian business does not accept credit cards. Quite shameful.

Perfect, had what I needed. Can only get at lucianos. If you want the real thing go to lucianos at Preston and somerset ottawa.

Luciano is the primo Ottawa Italian grocer. Great sandwiches, fantastic cheese and antipasto selection. The only thing they're missing is fresh Italian breads and desserts. There's parking behind the building so no need to worry about getting stuck on Preston or Somerset.

This place is packed full of a fantastic selection of Italian food. Get the onion and oliva focaccia from the deli, you won't be disappointed!

Have been going to Luciano's for years, if I lived closer we would shop there every day, always fresh and they have a great selection of cheese and meats.

Sometimes, one of the butchers break into old Italian songs, and the grocery options are amazing too! Pasta, olives, cheese, meats, condiments, sauces!

The pasta shop has recently changed hands from the previous owner. Went in to get some fresh pasta recently with my mother. The owner was quite rude to my mother and I, the pasta looked old and the staff were not helpful. Will not return.

Hands down, my favourite sandwich in the city! I love picking up goodies there too (pasta, deli meats and cheeses).

Great food, great sandwiches. One of the only places you are going to find 'Nduja. But the real piece do resistance here is the butcher shop. The sausages are killer.

I have a particular product from Italy that I love and can't find anywhere except Toronto. I gave them an empty container and they've found it for me and it should be arriving in a week or two! Dealing with them has been a dream.

I work right down the street from Lucianos, and this is my go to spot for a sandwich for lunch. The staff is friendly, has a family feel as soon as you walk in.

Don't buy meat or poultry anywhere else. The quality is very high, and the service is terrific. You can find lots of interesting Italian spécialités too.

My favorite Italian grocery in Ottawa especially for meat & cheese. Excellent Italian sausages.we always get hot with fennel.

My mother taught me to shop in Specialty Shops and that is her greatest gift to me.

When my husband and I were first married, he asked me what the red stuff was in the frying pan.when I told him that it was ground beef, he did not believe me. There is a huge difference, in quality, between Supermarket meat and a Butcher.

My favourite cheat meal is their stuffed pork roast with pancetta and veal. When you bring it home add butter, a cup of white wine and let your oven do the baking. Their stuffed chicken breast (veal, pancetta and cheese) cooked the same way is also very tasty.

If you find yourself hungry while shopping try their daily roast specialty sandwich served simply with lettuce tomato mayo and mustard (you decide).

We have frequented this establishment for over 24 years and their incease in price has been minimal. If you don't see what you want in the counter, then just ask the butcher. They will be more than happy to go to the cooler and cut the meat for you.

I must admit that I have a weakness for their lemon candies.
