Lucky 79 Asian Street Food

Loved the variety of street foods at Lucky 79! The leng saap was flavourful and the spice was perfect! Great place to go for late night eats and drinks!

Everything was really good and we absolutely loved the service! All the waiters were attentive, and the food came out very quickly. We absolutely loved the soft shell crab snack and the pork shabu salad. Love the Thai fusion flavours!

Omg! It is incredible! The food is amazing and super cheap! Nobody can believe when they get bill after eating. I definitely come a lot here!

This spot exceeded my expectations! We got soft shell crab with red curry, tteokbokki, volcano leng saap, leng saap with rice noodle, and bin fen for dessert. Literally everything was sooo good! And the service was amazing too, highly recommend!

It was my first time eating langssang here, and it was similar to gamjatang but sour, so I ate it with rice and it went down well. The combination of langssam, milk tea, and som tam salad was very good. I highly recommend it

So delicious! Really unique twists on each dish, the broth for the Pork Volcano was amazing. Really loved the Vietnamese BBQ pork as well! Will definitely be coming back.

After their soft opening less than 2 weeks ago, I was fortunate to come back and try some changes based on customer reviews.

I fell in love with their apps. The salad has my favorite Asian dressing and the pork was so soft. The crab with curry was new for me, and being a fan of soft shell crab, I was definitely ecstatic. I’m intrigued and would like to try other apps after these.

The addition of noodles to their pork bone soup was refreshing. But, I still prefer the soup with rice because the soup was already so flavorful, and I need something bland to complement it. But for noodle lovers, this may be for you.

Their traditional Chinese dessert was surprisingly on point. Such a perfect way to end the meal.

They created a condiments table so that customers can customize their soup by adding more spices

The staff was extremely nice and helpful with everything. Such a great experience overall.

Revamping their location and menu can bring fresh flavors and a new ambiance to enjoy, so I suggest you revisit them if you have not.

I enjoyed the pork soup and salad they were so tasty! If you like Asian fusion food, definitely try their food

We really enjoyed the food at Lucky79. We tried the Thai Pork Bone soup and it was very good. The meat was so tender and the soup very flavorful! Will come back again!

Love this new spot! The pork volcano is a must-get and it is fall-off-the-bone tender, with just the right amount of kick. The chicken wings and the soft shell crab are pretty tasty as well

Lucky79 is a great spot if you want to enjoy some Thai and Korean comfort food! The service is impeccable and they really want to ensure that you get the best experience from it. Would recommend if you are searching for a new place to eat near Steeles and Yonge!

I really enjoyed the dishes I had at Lucky 79! The leng saap (volcano 2lb) was so flavourful and the meat was very tender and the broth was amazing! I love how they serve other dishes from other Asian countries such China, South Korea, Thailand & Japan. I was able to try a little bit of everything. The only thing that I did not like was the thai ice tea, the one I got was a bit salty Im not sure why it was like that but I just waited for the ice to melt down a bit to water down the taste. Maybe it was just a bad batch but overall, the staff was really attentive, informative & friendly! I would definitely come back again:)

Staff was very attentive. The vibes were really good especially when the lights dimmed down. Food is really good I highly recommend

Owner Chef Taeshik was the executive chef at Nome Izakaya and has recently started up this beautiful restaurant serving Asian Street eats including their specialty Leng Saap!

The pork just fell off the bone and came in huge generous portions!

Their side dishes were also so tasty and paired very well with their classic Thai Iced Tea!

Try their dessert as well! It's not too sweet!

My absolute favourite was the soft shell crab with Thai Red Curry and the Takoyaki!

It's been little more than a week since I've come back from Thailand. We tried Leng Saap, Vietnamese BBQ pork and old school donkatzu. All three I would like to give +5 star! Server was polite, courteous and professional. Bonus was the owner not only greeting us with genuine enthusiasm but all the guests in his restaurant! I hope this diamond in the rough all the success and I'll definitely be coming back!

Fantastico! Friendly staff and amazing food! Their thai iced tea is one of the best I've tasted! Leng saap (pork bone soup) is very delicious!
