Attended this restaurant with the fiancé for Valentines Dinner.

Right from the start we were greeted with smiles and amazing service.

We sat down, and were greeted and acknowledged immediately. Drinks arrived and the night began. Although the restaurant seemed a little understaffed, it did not bother us so much as the atmosphere was very calming and relaxing.

The server introduced the specials and some new items on the menu, and we got to ordering.

We ordered the grilled calamari and the muscles. Both tasted decadent and amazing!

We then ordered the fungi pizza and the prosciutto pizza. Both very delicious and fresh!

Overall, a amazing restaurant, great chef, and great employees! Highly recommend this place.

What can I say man. My original review was 4 years ago, and since then this has been our stable place for special events, new years, Valentine’s Day, celebrations… everything…

Nothing has changed. Everyone is still amazing, food is still top notch, quality is still great. Smiles, and conversations with the owners are so appreciated and so caring.

I brought my girlfriend friend here, then we got engaged and came here to celebrate, and then got married and still continue to come here!

Wish they open for another 25 years! Love

Booked a reservation on open table for Jan 3rd at 6pm and came from far away based on a recommendation, to show up and the restaurant be closed… Extremely disappointed, others were also there to find out it was closed after booking reservations on open table. If you are going to be closed for whatever reason, ensure reservations cannot be booked.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is beyond exceptional, food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect for family gatherings. Love this place. It is truly a hidden gem

Great recipes, great family service. Only reason it's not 5/5 was price vs portion. Paying a premium for smaller portion. Fortunately we came with family who eats less so I happily accepted their leftover.

Luna was absolutely incredible. They squeezed us in as I called for a same day reservation. They were not only extremely attentive but very accommodating, and although they were busy, we always felt taken care of, water was always topped up, we were checked on, and overall felt very comfortable. The food was out of this world, every dish hot and beautifully presented. The service is confidently a 10/10. Melanie is kind, warm and inviting. My mom loved her birthday dinner and we will 1000% be back. Thank you so much Melanie.

This was the third time I had the pleasure of visiting and each time has been wonderful. The owners greeted us and even though we were early they willingly opened their doors early to seat us without a reservation. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. We left feeling so satisfied and happy. Would recommend 110% for anyone to try. You will not be disappointed

The decor is nice, picture classy Italian restaurant meets speak easy. Lots of wood, perfect lighting and great service. We were there for a private event so not sure how it is regularly but I felt the love in the people working there. Food is top notch, but again private event so unsure of price. Overall lovely experience

Such an outstanding restaurant. There was 8 adults and 3 children and each and every meal was delicious. I’m going to recommend Luna to all my friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back!

Hi - I would really suggest changing your customer service practices. We had a reservation for 7: 30pm and didn’t get our food until 9: 50pm. We waited until 8: 10pm to even be acknowledged or offered water/drinks/bread. We were finally approached by the owner and apologetically offered bruschetta (that we didn’t order) - it was absolutely implied that this was on the house. “I’m so sorry, I’ll bring you a couple of orders of bruschetta. ” We finally got the chance to order some food quite some time later. About an hour after ordering our food, we were told that there was no pizza. So we were offered pasta options ($12 more) and upcharged for this rather than the price of the pizza we ordered and wanted. We were finally met with our $350+ bill from the owner, with nothing offered on the house, like this was all business as usual. Up until then, we had been kind and understanding, assuming they were understaffed, asking if they were doing ok, etc. But this felt like a slap in the face. Most of our time was spent waiting and hungry. We spent money on drinks that we wouldn’t have spent otherwise because we were waiting for SO long. The staff were super friendly / familiar when speaking to us - and we felt totally misled by this whole experience. Very disingenuous vibes. The food and drinks were good but this was a confusing and bad experience

Wonderful atmosphere with great service and delicious food. Had the seafood risotto and loved it. Pricey but worth it!

Having eaten at Luna Ristorante at least three times now, I can speak to the consistently impeccable food and service. Melanie and her staff genuinely care about their customers and want each visit to be a special one. In fact, the atmosphere at Luna reminds me of the special feel a restaurant had when I was younger, it doesn't make one feel nostalgic, but rather reminds what a restaurant should feel like; go, you'll see! But none of that inspired this review, what overwhelmed me to write this review; leftovers. My wife saved me some of her pizza from her visit to Luna last night, and I tell you this: that warmed up pizza was better than almost any fresh food I have had prepared for me this year! I look forward to my next visit to Luna.and the one after that.and well, you get the idea. Cheers!

The service was very personal and attentive, without rushing us through our meal. Our meal was amazing! House made Caesar dressing, beef carpaccio, risotto, and of course tiramisu. The portions were nice, without being so overwhelming that you couldn't indulge in dessert. The smallest note about the temperature, as we were seated underneath a vent, and I was quite cool. We both commented that this will probably become our go-to kidless date night spot!

We had been trying to get a reservation at this restaurant for a while, it always seemed to be full (but I am a last minute kind of girl), now I understand why I had such a hard time…. It was marvellous! Four of us, I had the surf and turf, two people had different kinds of pasta, and one had a lamb dish, all cooked to perfection. Also calamari and bruschetta, also delicious, dessert was awesome too.
I recommend you give it a try, it’s a bit expensive but worth the money.

Found this place from the great reviews, and have to agree. Everything was wonderful. The delicious food is all hand-made, the staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is like stepping into a welcoming, beautiful home. Looking forward to coming back.

Incredible place! I went alone on a Saturday and ate at the bar as all the tables were reserved. It's completely understandable as to why. The restaurant has a lovely quaint atmosphere with earth tones. The service was incredible and before service picked up took time to ask me questions and get to know me a little. The food is to die for. Their menu is incredible and when I went, they were offering a vibrant specials menu with appetizers and entrees. I got muscles in a white wine sauce, with beef tenderloin and shrimp, and got two desserts. Everything was quality fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. This place is a perfect place to bring a date. Will be coming back and sampling all this place has to offer on a regular basis.

Hello everyone! Wanted to share experience at Luna Ristorante at Nature’s Emporium plaza.

Incredible food and service. If you can get their mussels you must, they are incredible. Calamari appetizers and the risotto are to die for. All their food is incredible and the family takes great care of you!

Made reservations through the website, had a quick response to confirm my reservation. Melanie even confirmed the reservation again the day of.

Meals and service were absolutely awesome. It was very busy in the restaurant. Melanie, Dom and 1 other server never missed even a beat.

Had the pleasure of attending a 90th birthday party last week. The food and service was excellent and would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Our go-to spot for high end Italian cuisine. The best in the Newmarket/Aurora area. Excellent food. The service is always fantastic. Super consistent. Always a great experience!

I tried Luna for the first time tonight for a special birthday celebration and was so happy with the experience. The food was fresh, high quality and tasted amazing. The mushroom risotto was a highlight! We were served by one of the owners, Melanie, who was absolutely delightful. She was attentive, very helpful in selecting dishes, and her thoughtfulness made the birthday dinner special. Thank you! Looking forward to coming back soon try one of the homemade pasta dishes!
