When driving on interior roads, be alert for several half concrete culverts that you need to drive over. At times these may have water flowing across them. There is 1 on the east road, and 4 on the north / west road. Vehicles with low ground clearance not recommended.

Beautiful area but it’s more a place for hunters than for walkers. The trails do not have a view on the lake and are not really interesting.

Fantastic place, good for large vehicles to come and park. Strong recommendation for tour group.

Great place to kayake, hardly anyone there on weekdays. Beautiful views and lots to explore. In September be sure to visit their website prior to going, hunting starts.

Probably good if you are into hunting.

1.5 hours from Toronto, beautiful place, but not a lot to do if you are not a hunter.

Another thing: when you are already here there is a sign saying you can’t go birding / waking / hiking on Saturdays and some other week days. Good to know after I’ve driven here already, but this is common thing: park and conservation areas do not care about informing their visitors.

Nice place to do the boating. Hunting options are available seasonally.
Not suggesting for a free walk if you’re not into games.
Parking is free but entry is having some fee. Better pay online and don’t try over there cause of the coverage issues.

Went here to do a trail walk. But had to be cautious as hunting season is in affect. The roads leading to the marsh are all unpaved roads. Their is a self pay stand as you enter the parking lot, seen conservation trucks driving around, so make sure you pay and have your ticket in your dash.

Luther Marsh Wildlife Area is one of the best kept secrets in Ontario. Marshlands are very nice and picture perfect for photography. Walked around and some boaters on the way out. Plenty of room and only a few cars there, only seen 2 people enjoying a picnic.

Have to self register upon arrival, need exact change. Lots of spots available in the main parking lot, lots throughout the 15km of roadway off to the right (shows boat launching area). Great if you're going out for a picnic, or if you want to boat, or hunt (during hunting season).

Came to check out the lake.beautiful and water was very clear to see the bottom.good for fishing as many dead woods are in the water.many place to get on the islands without getting feet wet.came at noon time so not a bug was seen on the waters or on the islands. Duck season, many hunters were seen on the islands.

Nice place when there are no hunters. Pretty much just a trail in the forest around the lake, secluded and not so much of wildlife, just some. Because of COVID-19 the exit to Line 4 was locked and we had to drive all way back (about 15 km) to the main entrance. Come in the morning.

Came here as it was less busy/more quiet than the Island Lake Conservation Area, and no parking fees.

Hunting. Canoe is good. Hiking is so so. Self registration required. You can drive around 15km but have to drive back the same way because the other gate is locked.

Such a beautiful wild Marsh area, it features boating, hunting, fishing within the place. Of course, you need to bring your own equipments and license for the activities you plan to do.

The area is huge and recommend to drive your vehicle to each point of interest, just remember to drive in decent speed within the area, people do walk around the road.

I recommend to go near the "South boat launch point", there is a one line drive path which cross the Marsh and it is beautiful! Remember to park at "South boat launch point" parking lot to keep the drive path clear for others.

This area is so peaceful. Like a complete nature retreat within an easy drive from the hustle and bustle. Beware of hunters and be mindful to check the rules if you are going for a hike here. It has signs that says when hunters are and are not allowed at the various entrances.

We attended for the Youth Outdoors Day. Absolutely a fantastic day. The property is incredible!

We arrived at the east boat launch and it was very windy. The dock was great and we did not get our feet wet. It required a lot of paddling as the wind was so strong. The water is very shallow in a few places. No issues favour kayaks We enjoyed the scenery and the challenge of paddling in windy conditions. There are limited amenities.

The path is a mowed area along the water, but far enough you can not see it. The grass had not been cut in awhile. For hiking it is not great. Water crafts do great at this place.

One less star rating for. Unpaved road of about 3kms to reach here, no food places nearby - go prepared. Abundant Nature to enjoy

It's picturesque and a nice place to relax. There is not any sound but the birds and wind which blows among the trees.

A lovely place to be. It's not that far from Toronto and you would drive through farms to get there. Its so unique and pretty. Love to go here again

We enjoyed a good paddle and it looks interesting enough to come back for a hike.
Facilities as docks and toilets as simple, almost primative.
Other than that, an enjoyable experience by us.

Great place for hiking and cycling, make sure you have enough water, there are a couple of spots of water crossing, noting serious. Please contribute to nature by paying the fees

Luther is the spot for the true nature enthusiast. It is a great place to simply go explore. If you are looking for the tourist experience, boardwalks, and play areas for the kiddies.not the place for you!

Great space to paddle in! Much larger than we thought it was but so glad we checked it out & got ours yams wet. So quiet & peaceful. Excellent body of water to explore. We met a friendly cat as we packed up, so cute. We made sure we paddled during the allowed season/time/month.
