Luxe Destination Weddings

Christy was amazing. We had a very large group to schedule, with multiple age groups all needing different things. She was patient and accommodating and truly the best!

I started working with Parvesh, for my daughter’s wedding and he was very easy to work with. Parvesh ensured I knew exactly how much I was paying and balance. I wanted to do an upgrade and he made it possible. I’m so excited for my upcoming wedding and vacation. Thank you Parvesh for making it easy with no stress.

I cannot SCREAM enough in JOY at what a wonderful experience we had working with Parvesh Sofat our travel agent! He was readily available via phone and email. He was always reassuring and positive in the planning process leading up to our 45-guest destination wedding. Parvesh works directly with me and the all of our guests on the 13-room block and planning for the stay and transportation from the airport.

Honestly, there are many folks involved before the destination wedding on the planning end and then at the resort in Mexico if only we worked with Parvesh exclusively I would have been thrilled. His professionalism and warm nature made so many aspects of hosting a large, overseas wedding a joy. My guests were thrilled with the wedding eve party, the execution of the wedding, the nature of having a small community on this large resort, and all the aspects of the all-inclusive resort which kept our guests 10 months old to 81 years old loaded with food and activity options.

I would do this again 10x over. I wish I could and so do all my guests who cannot wait to go on another all-inclusive trip together.

If you are wavering over hosting a destination wedding waver no longer just do it. But be sure to request Parvesh Sofat if you want an impeccable experience!

This is gonna be a long review. After some research we picked Luxe Destination Weddings for our December 2023 wedding.

This was through Sunwing we were a total of 40 people and 22 rooms! We booked this back in October of 2022 through Luxe with Lizzie (Elizabeth). She was absolutely amazing! She helped us picked the resort, book our group contract and answered all our questions especially with concessions as this was very confusing to us. I can not recommend her enough and I speak very highly of her and the troubles she eased while planning. We had our initial meeting with her and she is the reason we picked and stuck with Luxe. She even apologized for things that weren't her fault. She deserves 5 stars and we absolutely adored her.

Also through Luxe we got a travel coordinator to help everyone book in our block. We were assigned Mayrela. This was absolutely horrible and the most stressful part of planning. She sent out our invite to our guests without us knowing. She called us by the wrong names, had the wrong date and the wrong deposit amount. Everything was wrong and we had to send an apology email to our guests late on a Friday night. It was horrible. Our guests has a horrible time with her. Names spelt wrong, missing middle names that unfortunately had to be fixed once we arrived at the airport because she never fixed them. After the first problem, I should have asked for someone different but I believe everyone makes mistakes and it would be fine, but her attention to detail was non-existent. It was horrible and very stressful. We were so happy everyone had been booked and we didn't have to have this stress anymore. We complained multiple times about her to her supervisor but we were never offered someone different but again we should have pushed for this.

We choose to pay for the coordinator so we could start planning early. We were assigned Tiffany, who was absolutely amazing! We had an initial phone call and from there she made us a design mood board and from there and helped us answer our questionnaires. She also reached out to vendors to get us quotes including helping us book our group catamaran! Tiffany was amazing and I highly recommend her she was very knowledgeable and fought when our invoice pricing was incorrect. She replied to our emails within a timely manner even if it was just that she would get back to us.

Overall, I do recommend Luxe because of Lizzie and Tiffany. They truly cared about our wedding and I didn't feel like just another wedding or an inconvenience but unfortunately my experience with Mayrela was the opposite.

Words cannot express how great the Riu Palace Baja California is. We loved everything about it from the organized welcoming staff at the airport to all the staff at the Riu. The Riu is very clean and well taken care of. The food was delicious and so much variety at the buffet. The specialty restaurants served delicious meals. The servers at the buffet and the à la carte restaurants were exceptional and very attentive to the needs of all the clients.
And let's not forget the wedding. It was amazingly well organized and stunningly beautiful. The decorations were gorgeous, the officiant was wonderful, the food was amazing and the staff was top notch. And the bartenders and the DJ played great music. The photographer and videographer took many great pictures and videos. A wonderful time was had by all. Macey was a beautiful bride and Jesse was her handsome Prince Charming.
We would love to return to the Riu and will definitely recommend the Riu Palace Baja California to family and friends. Thank you for all great time with our family and friends!

My girlfriends and I are planning a Girl's Trip in June 2024. Krista made the process smooth, seamless and stress free! Once we chose our destination in Cancun, Krista assisted us with our suites, transport to and from the airport, payment options, accommodations, and activities. This is my first all-inclusive resort reservation. Krista's quick response time to my questions and knowledge of the resort made the process so easy to navigate.

Proceed with caution. LUXE Destination Weddings offers the absolute lowest form of wedding service. I am attending my brothers wedding and it has been painful watching the struggle and amount of time they have put in dealing with this company. From the guests point of view, the entire process of booking and coordinating travel was never clear and required guests check multiple emails, multiple websites, calculate their own changes and send the information back to Luxe Destination. After weeks of this confusion the bride had to put together a PowerPoint presentation to assist the guests. Additionally, caution to carefully read all of the fine print as there are additional charges for everything.

Christy was our first point of contact when choosing Luxe and she was incredible! When choosing the resort she was super attentive and everything she sent us was perfect and made the process so easy. She always got back to us quickly and answered our million questions. I would recommend her to anyone! Thank you again Christy

After we chose the resort we met Tiffany our wedding planner and again INCREDIBLE after one consultation she nailed our vision and the outcome was perfect! I’ve attached some photos of the decor because I can’t get over how great she understood what we wanted and made it beautiful. Again, super responsive and helpful. Our coordinator at the resort even said how amazingly organized she was and how easy it was to work with her. She somehow kept everything in budget and had great solutions like repurposing ceremony decor to help get more for our money. She’s been a pleasure to work with and 110% would recommend.

Our travel agent Michael was alright but there were a few issues, we had no problem getting a response and but most of our guests would have to call us and ask to contact him since they would not get any reply which was frustrating. One issue was one of my guests was charged more for a double room than the rest of the group, easy fix not a huge deal. The big issue was we communicated several times that our son would be flying with the group as we were staying an extra week and a few days ahead of departure we find out he was not booked on the flight home. Again he was able to fix the problem but it was just unnecessary and could have been very easily avoided. Overall it was an okay experience.

Overall I would recommend, even with the few issues that came up the team was friendly and were great to work with

Krista was our Luxe travel agent for almost a year! We just had our destination wedding in Punta Cana and everything was perfect. Krista made sure our group had a seamless booking experience and she also kept sending friendly reminders about booking deadlines. She helped us with our flights, transfers and she made sure we had everything we needed in place before our trip. As a busy bride, having Luxe’s services was a huge relief as I didn’t have to worry about any of the travel logistics. Thanks so much Krista, you are the best

We started planning our wedding with Luxe 8 months before our wedding. We got married at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. I cannot say enough amazing things about luxe and its representatives. Specifically Tiffany and Rita. Rita sorted all the logistics and promptly responded to guests (and we know they are the biggest pain). We never had to deal with any problems from guests, or the resort, or the airline. She was very proactive in the tail end of covid that no one was stressed out at all as the rules of flying were constantly changing. Tiffany was our wedding planner and my god, her and my wife just clicked. We dropped a lot of work on Tiff and she handled it like a champ, always responsive and genuinely cared that we had our dream wedding. We opted for the full Luxe Experience Package and it was the best money we spent on our wedding. Step by step with detailed spreadsheets with tons of clear information and budgeting. She also had a beautiful vison and her creativity put together with my wife's just made for the perfect wedding. We also opted to bring Tiffany to our wedding at an additional fee and holy moly was it worth it. Our wedding and rehearsal went perfectly and not once did we have to give up our time with our guest to do any planning or last minute items. Of course with Mexico, they love dropping last minute bombs for more money but Tiff was on them ensuring they honoured our agreement and budget. She also was a blast to hang out with and we made room at our wedding table for her and her husband because we wanted her to feel how important she was to us for our special day. We would have loved to have Rita along as well but thats not part of her scope.

If youre planning a destination wedding, Luxe is by far the best service by far. We highly recommend the premium package and taking Tiff to your wedding. I know it seems like counting pennies up until the time but truly, my wife was so relaxed, I was relaxed, Our guests had the most amazing time and we didnt miss a minute of it knowing everything was handled. Dont look any further!

Our 2 week vacation to Sicily was everything we hoped it would be and more. Rita (Luxe Destination) explained every detail from check-in at Pearson to checkout at Rome. Our hotels and resorts were beyond words. Before departure Rita navigated through tour bookings, bus trips, train stations and where to get taxis. Her knowledge made our trip not only relaxing and beautiful but beyond expectations. If I could rate this trip 100 I would. Her personal experiences and knowledge guided us through every city and train ride. I was almost as though she was with us. Thank you Rita for all your help and great advice. Would like to thank our agent Rita Puglisi for all her advice and assistance in planning our recent trip and all our travel over the past 10 years. Cruises, family vacations etc. She handled a train trip in Portugal for 12 60 plus siblings and sibling in laws that went remarkably smooth - so professional. All had an amazing time. The prospect of anyone enduring the ordeal we experienced with Luxe during wedding planning leaves me with a sense of dread. Consider my review a word of caution – steer clear of this agency unless they demonstrate a marked improvement in their accountability and client care. Our concerns weren't rooted in understaffing or the aftermath of COVID, both understandable issues. Our frustrations lie squarely with the unprofessional service offered by Luxe.

We encountered bright spots in the form of Christy and Tiffany during the initial and later stages of our journey. Their professionalism and attentiveness truly deserve recognition.

However, our assigned travel agent, Jackie, cast a shadow over our experience. Her neglectful communication, dismissive attitude, misleading information, inaccessibility, and lack of foresight deeply affected our journey. This poor performance resulted in about 30% of our guests having to arrange their travel independently. Air Canada Vacations proved challenging to work with and it could have been nice to have an intermediary to manage that relationship. Luxe simple compounded one non responsive organization with another. So now delays from ACV were then delayed by Jackie's inability to communicate until she was prompted multiple times. Jackie's response time to requests often ranged from 2 to 30 days, leading to numerous unanswered emails, voicemails, and website inquiries.

Luxe should strive to have a better relationship with ACV to improve Luxe's service.

Luxe seemed to treat contractual deadlines as optional, frequently missing their own timelines. A case in point is the post-travel concession money, which took them 18 weeks to deliver, contrary to the promised 3 weeks. Even the internal delay which could have been communicated at any point, wasn't.

In summary, Luxe and Jackie made us feel more like their employees rather than their clients. Our communication efforts exceeded 40 hours, and the delays incurred by Luxe forced us to spend an extra $4,000 on last-minute bookings outside of their block. Luxe transformed what should have been a joyous wedding planning experience into a strenuous uphill battle.

In January, my husband and I returned back from our destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We spent over a year to plan this wedding and our experience with Luxe Destinations has made the wedding planning process stress free and enjoyable. We decided to have a destination wedding in late 2021, then shortly after I got pregnant. Getting pregnant and having our daughter didn't stop us from planning this wedding. After our daughter was born I was overwhelmed with planning a wedding and being a first time mom. Our wedding planner Tiffany was phenomenal! She took the stress away and helped me plan the perfect wedding while on Maternity Leave. I don't know how I would have done this without her! A huge thank you to Elizabeth for helping us choose the right resort. After providing us with over 20 different resorts and locations, we finally chose Grand Palladium Vallarta. The roof top terraces is what sold me! Tiffany supported us with our wedding budget and making my Pinterest wedding come to life! While we were in destination, Tiffany supported us remotely. She was so responsive and attentive right up to the wedding day and even when we got home. If any one is considering a destination wedding, we highly recommend it and to go with Luxe Destinations to help plan the wedding of your dreams!

Terrible service. Booking details were all over the place. Jackie was impossible to get a hold of for any of our guests. She was so unorganized, that we requested to have someone else. I never thought I would say this, but thankfully covid happened and our wedding was cancelled anyway, as I am not confident it would have went very well when we got to the resort. After working in events at luxury hotels (Fairmont and Marriott), I can say Luxe completely missed the ball on this one. Buyer beware! Go literally, anywhere else!

Paul was extremely helpful in planning our group travel for our destination wedding in Cabo! Even when Sunwing cancelled all flights two weeks before the trip Paul was able to get us all on a new flight and assist with any special requests!

I cannot even begin to express how much of a horrible experience I had using this travel agency. I could write a book. They handled the room booking for my wedding party horribly. Everything was extremely delayed. I had guest paying off rooms days before departure date because Luxe destination wasn’t charging their cards. What’s worse about it is the whole experience felt like a scam. That’s how bad the service was. I shouldn’t have to feel like I have to file a lawsuit to get appropriate customer service. If you have to use a travel agency I would say do your research before you commit to one. If you can avoid using a travel agency, I would encourage it.
