Absolutely AMAZING! The girls working the front were super nice and I was able to get a last minute appointment. My nail lady payed such close attention to detail, shape and everything and took her time. Everybody was so nice and the atmosphere was beautiful. I love how my nails came out. The prices too were amazing for what you get as well. Will definitely be using Lux from now on!

Been here multiple times and it’s always a good experience! The nails techs are very precise and deliver their best! My last appointment was with Kelly. I wanted my nail shape to change and explained my colour preferences. She took her time to re-shape my nails and checked-in me with multiple times throughout the process making sure I like them. As always I left happy with the results. Would definitely recommend this place!

By far the best nail place out there! Customer service is top notch, pedicures are amazing! Every nail tech takes their time and knows exactly what they are doing and are super friendly as well! If there does happen to be an issue dealing with management is actually delightful and easy! This is the only place my girlfriend and I choose to get pedicures anymore! 5 stars all day!

They do an amazing job but will rob your money. Did a design without consent and then when check out came and the extra charge was questioned they said it was for the design that was done on two fingers without knowledge of extra fee or even consent to do it, just did it and charged it! Left spending $150 on just a gel mani and a pedi.

The place was nice, people were nice, everything there was a great experience. However my nails have started chipping (shellac) and it's been less than a week. Very unfortunate as I spent a lot of money to get them done.

First of all, the location was smelling of sewage.
Next, had booked for a shellac manicure. Got a technician Vicky. She needs to be trained on what the manicure is and how it has to be done. Didn’t do a proper trimming of cuticles. I had to insist on how it had to be done using the proper tools. Finally she did it. Her colouring of the nails wasn’t that great either. Very poor manicure. And no massaging either of the hands. She was rushing although there wasn’t anyone waiting. Didn’t have issues the previous time (not with her though). Would not recommend this place or the technician.

Went here for a treat to myself for my birthday. Ana did my nails and Amanda did my friend's. It was so relaxing and they did an amazing job. We will definitely be back. I got the cat eye effect done with mine. The hot stone massage felt amazing. The watermelon bath bomb smells amazing! I look forward to my next visit.

I have been going every 3 weeks for nearly a year. It is a beautiful salon and the staff are wonderful. Thank you. 5 stars!

I brought my 4 year old for a first time manicure for her birthday. Jing took care of her and made sure her first experience is fun and comfortable. She was very friendly and patient with my little one. We had a great mommy and daughter time, can't wait for next time.

First of all, the ambiance and interior is very beautiful.
The first time i went in, i wasn't feeling the french tips and the shape, however after i complained about it, one of the managers reached out to me instantly, and the concerns i had were resolved with no extra charge.
The nail tech really knows his stuff. He made the nail look very natural, removed the french tips, reshaped it to my liking, very smooth and classy. You can hardly tell where the arcrylic ends close to my cuticle cause it blends so well, one would think they were natural if they didn't look closely. I'm very pleased with the service I will definitely be returning soon.thank you!

This place may look nice and fancy but their service is terrible. The girl that did my nails was constantly checking her phone. It was as if I was interrupting her time. Like seriously? Totally unprofessional. I will never go back.

I went for a mani and pedi for my sister's wedding. The ladies there were really great! The lady that did my nails was really talented and took the time to really understand what I was looking for. It was a very social environment which I really enjoyed and felt very welcomed. I really enjoyed the foot bomb they did as well!

Booked an appointment, got there and hour and half later still have my 7 year old waiting to have her nails done. Very unprofessional!

Just terrible. They had one lady do my mom and I’s manicures which were booked for the same time which made no sense. The woman that did it, did my moms first and then made her sit there for AT LEAST 50 minutes with her nails under the dryer. While she did my nails, she smudged it multiple times with her sweater sleeve and didn’t fix it and then made us wait “5 more minutes” for our nails to dry and didn’t come back to us for over 20 minutes so we got up, paid and left.

This is the result of my nails after getting a SHELLAC manicure.not acrylic, not bio gel.shellac only. There is absolutely no reason my nails needed to be drilled down this much for just shellac. Honestly they shouldn’t be drilled like this for any kind of nail service. I understand that more of these commercialized nail salons want to quickly get you in and out hence why they drill your nails but it’s genuinely not necessary. They should be using one of those orange buffing squares at most for shellac manicures. I’m so disappointed that my nails are damaged like this because they are brittle af. Please care for your customers nails.

I took my Mom here as a Mother's day gift and we both got manis and pedis. We were so impressed with the service of our nail techs! They were so friendly and both did an amazing job! The atmosphere was great and the pricing was so reasonable. We will definitely be back. Thank you ladies!

We (my fiancé and I) have been going to Luxe for years. After a fabulous experience at the Waterloo location we have been going to the Kitchener location ever since. Even after moving (an hour away), we still continue to go to the Seabrook location. Call us crazy, especially with gas prices these days. We just love the atmosphere and the bath bombs!

However, last week was so disappointing that we will never be returning. Usually when you book two pedicures you would think that two pedicures would be done at the same time. I called the day before and they said they could fit us in. The day of our pedicure I receive a call to come for 3: 30, which I couldn’t because I was at work. Then we were about to leave and they tell us to come 15 minutes later.

When we finally arrive, we are excited to relax, it’s truthfully the only time we have sat this week, as we have both been busy at work and with planning our wedding. There were two nail technicians who were both with clients. Everything seemed fine as normal… we washed our hands, we picked our bath bombs, I picked my colour, we adjusted our own water as it was too hot and the ladies were with other clients. Then someone came to do my fiancés feet. Great. Ten minutes go by. Twenty minutes go by. And no one came to provide my service. My fiancé said she’s going very fast on me so she can fit you in. I even said to my fiancé they should do my feet first since they have to remove my shellac and add colour. Thirty minutes go by. And then when my fiancés pedicure is done. The lady quickly gets up and leaves, its 7: 55 pm. Meanwhile, the lady at the desk has folded out the towels and now is bringing out the vacuum. I’ve worked in customer service, usually when the vacuum comes out it’s a sign to help customers to leave. All this, while my feet are now shrivelled to prunes. Why have someone at the front desk if all she’s going to do is talk on the phone making personal appointments and not look to her surroundings of what’s going on?

I was forgotten. I’ve never felt so embarrassed and humiliated. I’m not a confrontational person so when my fiancé finally said something the front lady was flustered and said, “oh you haven’t even been started”? This made me feel even more humiliated. The nail technician who was with another client suddenly left her client to come and do my nails. It was too late. I didn’t want my pedicure to be rushed, I didn’t want my fiancé to have to wait another 45 minutes, and we had made reservations. I’m so disappointed in Luxe. I tried to message them and have a manager contact me, but they haven’t yet and it’s too late. I went to a place next door to my house where they were able to provide a service. Honestly, be honest luxe if you couldn’t fit us in, say you’re not available. Rather you have lost a customer and made her feel belittled, unimportant, forgotten and humiliated. Thanks for saving our gas from here on, as we will not be commuting to get our nails done at luxe again. Not worth the emotions.

Experience was fine. But they didn't share bath bombs $10 each extra. They had them in the kids foot bath without a word. There was 5 of us. $50 for bath bombs.seriously? !? I wouldn't have said no to enjoy the experience with the kids but would have appreciated being asked! Probably will never go there again! For the price I will go to a place with a more spa atmosphere and I know what I am paying. Disappointed

I got terrible inflammation after getting a pedicure at this place less than 2 weeks ago. First and last time was there! Never happened before at any place I visited in GTA.

I canceled my appointment somewhere else, and booked here. Post COVID reopenings this is the best place I've ever been to!
CLEAN, FRIENDLY, AND AMAAZZING SERVICE. Will be back for sure.

This review is long time in the coming, I have been going here for the last year and I LOVE IT. Before luxe I have been to 4 or more places and they are all the same. This place does it right, consistent every time. Best place around by far!

I’ve been to LUXE previously for refills and had a great experience with both the quality, pricing as well as the shape. I’ve never paid more than $45 for a flawless set of nails. However I came in today for a new set and was VERY disappointed with the results. When I was in the salon they looked fine but once I got into the car, I realized two or more nails were crooked, all of them were lumpy and the nail polish was also bubbling. The worst part is I was charged $75 for this + tip which is way overpriced for the quality I received. Unfortunately they’ve lost a customer.

UPDATE: After posting this a LUXE manager contacted me and left me a very professional voice message. While I appreciate them reaching out I have already had my nails redone with a different provider. In light of their professionalism in customer service, and my two previous positive experiences, I am upgrading my review to 3 stars.

Location is beautiful however almost all the nail techs that were working during our appointment spoke rudely about clients they were working on (or that were around). They weren’t aware that my friend who was getting her nails done understood their language. It’s a shame they represent their place of work, they have no patience when it comes to clients, otherwise I would actually go back.

Shellac was put on so thick it totally ruined my nails. Took over an hour of soaking and grinding to get it off at another salon. Overpriced as well

Nails weren't painted properly went for a fill and some of the old colour can still be seen.techs blatantly speak rudely of customers without realizing some customers can UNDERSTAND the language. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

My nails looked horrible after having shellac done at uptown Waterloo location. Went back for them to fix it and they wanted $30! They lost a customer.

LUXE Nail Bar the chipping started immediately but got progressively worse. I should have contacted you immediately but it wasn't horrible until Saturday - a week and a half. I asked for the exact same colour of blue but no green because I didn't want to get in my vacation and it look like garbage. If you re did the nails in the exact same manor I would expect the same result. The only reason I have you a try read because you were open on Sundays. I left your place and nail resort on laurelwood made right what you wouldn't. The picture speaks for itself. I have never experienced chipping before from other companies. You told me on the phone your goal is great looking nails and great customer service and you failed me on both accounts.

(Waterloo location) Amazing service! Very friendly and accommodating. Aleisha and Lee took great care of me. Lee was very careful and detailed in her work, and I am more than satisfied with my results. Best nail experience I've ever had!

I’ve been going to Kat for a while for my lashes and she does an amazing job I can’t go 3 weeks without seeing her! And ever since she moved to luxe it’s been even better because the shop is so nice and clean. I would highly recommend going to luxe nail bar and getting your lash extensions done by Kat!

Such a luxurious experience! The staff were very friendly and offered us something to drink. I also love that they have you choose a bath bomb for the water. Will definitely come back:)

This nail salon is aesthetically nice. However, the nail techs were not good at doing any nail designs. The quality of a simple polish change was awful. This place is super pricey. I don’t recommend!

I would never come back again and I would never recommend this nails salon, the nail teach didn’t realize I understood the language making extremely rude comments about my friends and others around me. The atmosphere was and is the most unwelcoming environment ever.

Cons
- Nail service was not thorough: overhanging nail polish not sanded down, shellac polish sticking to skin, did not push back cuticles, irregular nail shaping. Technician seemed distracted, multiple times almost forgot a step, like sanding nails etc.
- Staff did not provide colours until time to paint, and then took many of them away for other customers a few minutes later
- Communication was poor -i emphathize with language barriers, but it made it very difficult to clarify colours/design, or engage in any social conversation
- Nail art pictures on their websites look great - my technician assured me she could do one of the pictures on there, but seemed to regret this later, offering stickers instead. I tried offering easier variations on the design, or changing to a simple line, but she went ahead with her attempt to copy the design. I appreciate her efforts as a human, but she did it in a different colour than I wanted, and the results were not the same as the picture. This is where communication was the biggest challenge.
- I heard that drinks are offered? Never offered to me, and I noticed the same happening to a few other clients that came in.

Whoever owns this would do well to put more standards in plac, as this was sloppy service from all staff despite the obvious branding efforts to offer a more luxurious experience. I went out of my way to try this place, but will go instead to Rainbowy nails in Cambridge, where the prices are cheaper and the service is better.

I get my lashes done with Kat & Sumiko. They are the best in town without a doubt. Highly qualified, meticulous, safe and detailed. Love the salon overall. I just wish they had Dip for nails:)

I got my nails done here and when I first got them done I was very satisfied. Had to come back though because the gel on one of my nails completely peeled off 2 days later. I went back and they fixed it but now a few other nails have began to chip but not completely peeled off. Also, one of my acrylic nails completely ripped off with some of my actual nail, only after about 2 weeks of getting them done. The reception staff is very nice and the atmosphere is very nice, although the nail technicians themselves do a poor job on application.

So disappointed! This place has a really cool vibe, it was a great 'experience', but the finished nail product was disappointing. I had a regular shellac done on a Saturday, and by the Tuesday I had 2 badly chipped nails, and after less than 2 weeks I had to remove all the nails because they were peeling and chipping so badly. For $45 I expected a little more. I unfortunately won't be going back

I went to Luxe Nail Bar for a new set and requested matte black as the colour. The nail technician cut my finger because she was too busy looking at her friend and talking with her, rather than paying attention to the task at hand. I was bleeding all over the table for a few minutes and the technician even tried to do the polish over my blood (while the finger was still bleeding), rather than cleaning it. The matte colour also had sparkle in the container so rather than receiving a matte black, I received a sparkle on top of the colour. I will not be returning.

The owner's response below is absurd as well. I booked in weeks in advance and when I walked in my name was in their system. He/she is lying.

When Luxe first opened it was great, but recently it's like no one tries to do a good job. I've had fills peel off after 2 days, and keep going back thinking it's a one-off, but it keeps happening with more than just one manicurist. So I wont be returning or recommending Luxe like I have in the past. Very disappointed.
