Great place for a casual gathering with friends! Lots to choose from & the food is delicious.

I love the mapo tofu rice with fries and pork cutlet. The environment is very spacious, and they have cool decor

We came on Friday evening and joined the waiting list that took more than 30 mins while people after us got seated right away. They got seated because they are not more than 4 which is understandable but the booths near the window were empty and was told it will open at 6: 30PM where we finally got seated at exactly 6: 30PM. We could have sat there half an hour ago.
While the food was good, it was futile due to insensitive customer service and lack of enthusiasm.

We were seated at a table close to the door and it was really cold with the doors opening all the time. When asked if we could move to the empty booths close to the window. We were told that section was not open yet. I think it was poor service for them not to let us move. The so-called closed section was open half an hour later anyway.

As for the food, we ordered a few rice dishes and they all came with COLD sides (corn and broccoli). I can understand things like marinated eggs and ginger being cold, but It was totally unacceptable to have cold veggies as well!

The screws in the chair my husband was sitting in were loose and it felt like it was gonna fall apart. Anyway I’m not coming back again.

The QR code to order is a bit confusing. I find the food to be expensive. I ordered a large mango slush was over $10 all in and it was not good. They put ice cubes inside to fill it up! (See pic). Slush supposed to be all blended! My friend ordered a rice and fries dish for $20. I think it’s too much.

Fast and great customer service, food was great. Nice hangout place for friends and family:)

Came here a few times. We arrived at 7pm today and there weren't many tables taken. By 7: 30pm, half of the restaurant was full.

We ordered the following:
1. Taiwanese style popcorn chicken on rice (crispy chicken, nice batter but not much flavour).

2. Taiwanese style pork belly on rice (delicious!)

3. Curry fish balls (spicy!)

4.house special milk pudding (it was free because I downloaded the Mabu app). Not very sweet, but very filling. The cookie crumbs were nice, so it was a good combination.

5. Mandarin Orange and lemon green tea

The bowls might look small, but generous portion of rice, chicken and pork belly.

Enjoyed the sizzling sirloin steak. Can't find it at too many restaurants now. Order through QR code. Decent atmosphere. Service was ok. Will try the mini hot pot dishes next time

Overall 4.5 / 5, but happy to up to 5 for overall experience.

I find that the quality of the food at Mabu has definitely improved over the past few years. I don't often get their drinks but the food has their ups and downs. I generally stick to their hotpot (good amount of food with good balance in flavour or their dons (reasonable price with enough toppings).

Recently they also included items from their previous MABU station menu, such as those that are more 'out of the ordinary' like the bread bowl mushroom soup with spaghetti as an appetizer. Quite heavy I must say but the bread was very pillowy fresh and soft on the inside but nice and crispy on the outside. The spaghetti was well cooked and the sauce definitely added a guilty indulgence to it, but overall I couldn't get myself to stop munching on it.

The sizzling hot plate with mixed steak was quite filling. I got it with black pepper sauce and that was really rich in black pepper and salt, but this definitely made it reminiscent of the older HK cafe flavours. The steaks were all cooked nicely and not tough to chew. Would recommend this one as well, perhaps a bit more rice would do!

Their hot fruit tea was also a highlight. It definitely hit the spot and the passionfruit was very fragrant and balanced the sweetness of the other cruciferous fruits like apple.

Finally their staff were quite friendly and was accommodating.food came out at a decent pace. Late hours too so definitely a bonus there.

I have been here many times and this place never disappoints me. Food was fast and delicious would highly recommend here for late night dinner and snacks.

I ordered food from Uber and went to pick it up. The cashier asked me to wait for five minutes, and when the order was ready, they just casually called out to me with a disrespectful "hei hei. " When I finally picked up my order, they placed another box of food next to mine, and I mistakenly thought it was also mine, so I picked it up along with mine. However, the cashier immediately snatched it back from my hands, as if I were trying to steal something. This store is just too rude.

Food is HK style but says it’s authentic Taiwanese food. We ordered a pineapple bun with beef, hot and sour beef noodle soup, baked meat on fries, and Kalbi ribs on rice. Food was just okay

We also saw 2 dishes misdelivered twice.

I personally slipped because of wet floor and no safety signage placed.

This is the first time visit this restaurant, we have ordered a meat ball spaghetti, ovatine happy meal, popcorn chicken on rice, roast Portuguese chicken rice.
The meat ball spaghetti is not hot, the side dish broccoli is cold and tasteless, the large ovatine just like someone drank a bit before.
The popcorn Chicken on rice seems very nice, the popcorn chicken is tasty, and the rice is hot, but it is found that there is a lot of oil at the rice and the bottom of the bowl, just like eating Chinese sausage rice. I will recommend they separate the popcorn chicken and rice on different plate
Moreover, there is a promotion about the membership or the points saving plan, but the QR code for Android is no use and will have error when scanning the QR code at Play store.
The decorations and the food introduction poster design are very attractive and the sofa chair, atmosphere are very good, but when staff combine two table into one without lifting up, the noise destroyed all the good things.

Had some ramen and cheese baked rice dishes: deep fried fish and chicken cutlet. Unimpressive considering the nearly $20 price. Fish tasted like it was from some low quality frozen food originally. You have to order with your smartphone, which was very hard for my grandmother. Even so, the website kept glitching and had to resubmit the order 3 times (of course, we're also afraid of submitting duplicate orders so we hesitated each time). The website menu does not exactly correspond to the paper menu so you have to guess a lot. The staff did, however, follow the instructions we added for the ramen. So service was OK (minus, you know, ordering because you have to do that yourself), but the food leaves a lot to be desired considering the price.

I thought this is a new restaurant in FMP, but later I found out they just updated their logo and name, same old place as Mabu Generation. Had different dishes than before, all seems pretty good except they are on the more pricy end, and smaller portion. Nice atmosphere as always.

Very authentic Taiwan snack & dish. Enjoyed our food and conversation. Very chill vibes.
