MacDonald Gardens Park

Great dog / walk park! Open and beautiful and well-maintained. Great view from the top of the hill for fireworks, aerial demonstrations, etc, and in winter, good for sledding.

Friendly reminder that this park was built on the grounds of an old cemetery of some of Ottawa’s first settlers in the 1800s. Have a lovely day

Lots of cute squirrels for your dog to chase Just kidding, it is a really lovely spot to play fetch and relax. There are almost 10 benches in the park to sit. Most of them have tables.

Beautiful park. Hard to believe that its actually an old cemetery sans headstones.

This park is lovely, especially the little gazeboo at the top of the hill!
