I recently moved from another province and had to get the inspection done. Went to different auto shops in Windsor for it and they just decide to loot me with unnecessary changes. 100’ s of dollars.got a reference for Macdonald’s and boom my inspection is done within an hour today. My car passed the inspection, she don’t have any issues / repairs as the other mechanics suggested. I have no words now. I am just very happy and I am very thankful to these guys.and thanks Laura.she is really helpful. And they gave me chocolates too.

We took our car there because it kept dieing and we kept having to get the car jumped. We thought it was the alternator. Turns out it was just loose cables to our battery from our last trip to Canadian Tire. They tightened it back up and didn't even charge us! They really saved us! Thank you so much!

Great customer service. I love that they provide a free diagnostic and shuttle service. I went in with a low coolant light and they had discovered a minor leakage. They gave me an approximate repair cost and was transparent as to how and when I should repair the leakage. My mechanic/technician, Josh, was able to show me where the issue was occurring and how I can monitor it. Thanks again for the great experience!

Macdonalds Automotive did an excellent job repairing my exhaust system. My car was ready for when I needed it which was a big bonus. Their customer service is incredible. From beginning to end my experience was exceptional. They even left a little thank you treat in my cup holder! What an easy way to just maintain your vehicle. I called ahead and everything worked out and the pricing was surprisingly affordable for what I needed for my vehicle. I drive a Volkswagen and have a hard time finding a location that knows how to care for one. The staff are very friendly professional and know what they're doing. I very much recommend this place.

We found out on Wednesday night that our exhaust was broken and we were supposed to leave Friday morning for a long car trip. I was so worried we’d have to cancel our trip but we called MacDonald automotive first thing in the morning and they had the part we needed and squeezed us in. They were able to fix our car right away and made sure we were able to take our trip safely still. They were kind, professional, helpful and SO speedy quick. I highly recommend them.

I was in a pinch when I needed an extra O2 sensor bung welded into the downpipe for my Civic, they helped me out and installed a the new bung for me in a short time so I was back on the road. I have never been disappointed by the service and professionalism at MacDonalds.

I dealt with a Laura at the front desk and a Kyle as my mechanic and they could not have been more personable, professional and fairly priced. Fast and friendly service.
They Inspected a few areas of my van and reported them to be fine and no maintenance was needed.
They repaired my AC condenser and replaced the spark plugs as quickly as possible and within the average cost I reviewed online.
I am please with the service all around and i am happy to have a good reliable auto service facility for my van.

This is the place to take your car, they are super nice, experienced and professional. I got exhaust work done and love it! Don't waste time and go anywhere else.

Had my truck’s safety done there. Reasonable price. Brought my own parts and they were happy to install. And they drove me home when I left the truck there.

Only my 4th or 5th time having work done by these folks, but I've always left very happy with the work done.
Will return again, and will refer them to anyone looking for reliable mechanical service.

MacDonald's is a great alternative if you're tired of dealing with the money grabbing dealerships. They do great quality work, the staff are all friendly and professional and have very affordable and reasonable pricing. They offer a free shuttle service and follow up with you to ensure the auto service was done correctly and that no further issues have arisen. They have a great business model in putting their customers first rather than the BIG dealerships where you are just another VIN# and $ to them. MacDonald's earned a return customer in myself!

MacDonald's Automotive does great work, I'm always satisfied with their work. I took my car there to have my air conditioning fixed, and now it's working just like new! And they always follow up with their customers, to see how your vehicle is doing after they worked on it, showing they really care about their customers. Good customers service, never disappointed in their work. Thumbs up!

Rude service one the phone! Poor service by mechanics! My brakes were simply locked due to worn down brake pads and a broken ABS sensor. They detected the sensor issue but said my breaks were fine! As of what I was told on the phone they hadn’t even taken a wheel off at that time! Instead, they told me they’d have to replace “this and that” for approx. $600.
I decided to get a tow home (Thanks to CAA!) and figure it out myself. - $140 in parts and $70 for the check at a certified place later I’m good to drive safe and sound!
During a phone call the lady at the desk literally said “I don’t care about you, I have people on all my phone lines! ” and hung up on me!

I had my shocks and struts replaced on my 2015 santa fe sport and also added a small lift kit. The installation and quality of work is unmatched. My car has not handled this well since leaving the lot new.
