Not to happy about the recent price increase. They just raised the prices a couple weeks ago quite significantly. Meatball sub was horrible to say the least. Frozen meat balls heated in microwave not much bigger than the size of chic peas. Had two bites of the Sub and tossed it out. Sad experience.

Great stuffed patties. Mid pizza but strangely awesome fresh out of the oven. Def worth trying.

I have been coming to this place for over 15 years and it's just not the same anymore. I ordered a stuffed patty and the patty was cold. Also, I work for the city and had asked to use the washroom and they wouldn't allow access it use to opened I don't know what happen. $3.97 now for a stuffed patty. The pricing keeps on going up! Won't be surprised if it reached $5 soon for a stuffed patty. This place is just disappointing.

Seem liked the pizza was made out of low quality dough. Pizza was really hard and did not taste that good.

Pizza is good when delivery is on time and hot.twice now it's taken up to an hour and 30 min and it's cold.plus they just raised the price two dollars. No more I'm done

No customer service.
I walked in, stood by the front cashier and wasn't acknowledged. I was standing in plain sight. So I stood in the sandwich line.
When someone else walks in, the same lady that ignored me starts serving the new person.
I am never going back to this place again. Their pizzas look like they're a day old now, their patties are ice cold, sandwich breads are stale.
I kept my mouth shut and continued to go here because of nostalgia but this place is too much of a disappointment.
I won't be surprised if they shut down shop soon. They're ruining their loyal customer base.

A very disappointing experience with Mckay’s Pizza. This place used to be gold. But the recent customer service is terrible. We placed a cell phone order for a large pizza and they made a Party Size pizza. Then they started to argue about how their menu has no Large pizza but it was RIGHT THERE. The guy said they offer Small, Med, then Party Size. We said “to compensate for the mistake on your part can you offer us free dipping with the pizza and they were outright condescending. A polite “no” would’ve sufficed. We were paying over $12 for a wrong order and they couldn’t accommodate $2.40.

Can never go wrong with mayo lettuce cheese patties - change it up add tomatoes, onions or hot peppers instead maybe lol - the pizza is of course hit and a miss at night but during the day one of the best in town- need to try corn beef sub with these toppings EXACTLYYY! LoL ok lets begin- corn beef on white bread- heat the meat up separately- ask to place mayo on both sides of the bread to begin with ask them to.add the cheese later along with the heated meat (so it can nicely melt ontop) lettuce onions green peppers black olives pickles then some regular mustard add more ligjt mayo add black pepper and Voila! An amazing tasting corn beef sub. You will thabk me i assure you. ENJOYYY

I did like the stuffed pattie - real cheese too. Pizza ordered for pick up was perfect as usual. Slices were good, small, couldn't share one.

It was OK. Was referred by a few people to try this place but it was off-putting. I may have set my expectations too high. Nothing exciting but it was OK. Pizza is good, the patty seemed overcooked and the pastry was charred. Maybe it wasn't their best day.

Visited Shoppers Drug Mart for vaccine shot. Took significant time. Probably can do better by managing the customers in a timely fashion. It's a delay that is undue.

I've noticed a lot of people leaving reviews are living based off nostalgia of this place. I remember the slices and patties being amazing too but I cannot say that anymore. Slices are still decent although smaller but the patties are a let down, often cold, and always flavorless. McKay refuses to get a good patty as a base for their famous McKay patty. If they would upgrade and get some decent patties and have them served at least a bit hot I can see them returning to glory but for now I will not bother.

Bramptons hidden gem. Pizza, patties and subs. One of Bramptons original go to place. Only upset is the closing hours but still worth the 5 stars

I ordered a party sized pizza for $30. I barely cheese and a topping I didn't want. I pay 40 at pizza hut for pizza pasta and wings. Love mckay put northpark ppl are rude and obviously don't care. They wanted me to pay more or return pizza which some ppl didn't mind eating. First time in years. Been getting from them for over 15 years.so disappointing

Great pizza, subs and Jamaican Beef Patties here. Open late too which is a bonus. The pizza is always fresh, none of those premade bases.

It almost reminds me of the big slice pizza that was at yonge and gerrard sts in toronto. It's a pretty big slice and delicious.

BEST PIZZA IN THE CITY, WHOEVER SAYS OTHERWISE IS WRONG.
Get a Mackay patty too while you're there, cheese lettuce mayo.
Also their assorted sub is $6 in 2021.

Mackay Pizza has been my go to pizza joint for the last 10 years. The Sicilian pizza is my reccomendation, thick crust pizza with tomato sauce, lots of cheese and toppings of choice. They also always accommodate any request I have such as crispy crust or extra chilli flakes. Note, you should call ahead of time to place your order as they get super busy

You need to get mackay pizza slices heated or it's not really good. So I asked for it heated. The woman refused to heat it and gave me attitude. No one wants your sunday morning style pizza slices or attittude Mackay.

I've been going here for years, always great. The only problem is I've moved to Orangeville and as much as I've asked they still haven't opened at store up there. Keep up the great work guys!

The ladies at the front are as friendly and helpful as ever but the pizza was only decent this time. Maybe something has changed recently because it seems it was better in the past. Still a 4 star choice however. Enjoy. PS try the patties.

A little bit of customer service training will make this place a bit more accommodating. I was disappointed to see the pizza slices have shrunk under new management also barely any sauce. Bring back the old taste of McKay pizza, they were known for being the best.

Our order was wrong even though I was explicit twice. I also asked if this was the location on Bovaird by the Rona and The Keg and was told yes.

Have gone here for years ever since I was a kid. Have always loved the pizza and friendly environment.

This is hands down one of the best and very few places in Brampton that is still a momma and pop joint that exists. I hope they NEVER go out of business and I wish nothing but the best for Mackay's! Great pizza, amazing patties! They are ALWAYS busy and they produce the same quality every time! Despite the constant flow of people they serve you in less than 10 minutes and if it's longer, they'll telI you, but people don't mind the wait! I have been a long time customer and plan to be for years to come!

I am not sure how do many high rated reviews. This place is dirty, not hygenic, they heated and served sub as garlic bread, we ordered veggie pizza, it was very very ordinary and didappodisapp. Prices are on the higher side. Medium Pizza cost us around $17.

This is a childhood favorite. I love getting the patties stuffed with cheese lettuce mayo and tomato. Always tasty.

Pizza is AMAZING! BUT! If you like Jamaican patties you'll love the loaded version. Cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, hot peppers if you like those. Ahhh soooo good.

The pizza is excellent, well cooked and very filling. The service could be better, they put me on hold when I called but picked up for my friend while I was still on hold.

I bought a pattie with lettuce, cheese and mayo, and when I almost done, I was chewing something that didn’t taste like the pastry or any of the ingredients inside, when I took it out my mouth it was a piece of paper.really disgusting! I have pieces stuck in my teeth at the back parts, that I keep trying to remove with my tongue!

I grew up with mackays stuffed patties! When you're hungry and around the location. I advise you to check them out.

They've been good since I can remember as far as 8 years back. You get what you want every time and it's good.

This is not the same place I went to as a kid all their prices are up and make no sense how does a cheese pizza cost the same as a pepperoni pizza I'm never coming here again

I live nearby and recall going to Mackay pizza as a teenager in high school. Mackay is your local, familiar, tasty pizza place in the neighbourhood. Family owned and operated, I’m a loyal Mackay pizza and PATTI customer.

This is one of our families favourite pizza spots! Our teenager eats here almost everyday and I’m a 3-5 times a week kinda guy! The patties with the works are phenomenal! Cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions, olives! If it’s not patty, then it’s a Hawaiian slice for me and veggie for the wife! Haven’t tried the subs yet, maybe one day. This place is always clean and the staff is very friendly, fast and smiling. Food handling is ALWAYS with gloves and they are always cleaning up.
As for the price, $8.00 fills me UP! Thanks for filling our bellies for years!

Pizza slices are HUGE! Patties are good, place needs to be renovated or atleast be upgraded. But its quick, although my only concern with this location is that when we order from home delivery THEY DO NOT accept debit/credit so it's very inconvenient if i don't have cash with me.
Workers are attentive, students. Great place for quick run to pizza place.

I visit here once in a while. Over the years friendly faces comes and goes. This visit I meet some even friendlier faces than the past. Pizza was cooked well and tasty. Prices still reasonable, $ 3.54 for a slice, and better than the franchises. And as mentioned taste better than the franchises, more cheese than most of them.

This is the original location. Slices are really good. The beef patties with lettuce and mayo are amazing!

Good pizza at a great price - $3/slice and $6-7/sub. More importantly their beef patties blew my mind, slicing them open like a sub and stuffing toppings in. Genius haha I never thought of that.

I like this place. Great pizza, big slices, great prices, nice service. My go to place when I’m tired after work and don’t feel like cooking.

Very good pizza I enjoyed the taste I love the sauce they use on there pizzas pricing was ok my one complaint is crust was a little to hard for me, I would definitely recommend this place for a pizza night with the family.

The price and size of the pizza's I have no problem with but when I ask to have extra sauce on my pizza, and it barley looks like their is any sauce I have to wonder, I don't think I will be returning only cause they couldn't get my order correct

Went here to try the pizzas as I have heard they are great from some friends. I was not disappointed and I did really enjoy the pizzas they serve. The service was good too.

Not sure what everyone was raving about. I got a pizza from this place and it was so bland! No flavour at all and it was incredibly greasy. I've heard nothing but good things about this place but after trying it myself I'd never recommend it to anyone. You're better off eating a piece of garlic bread from furlanis that you found hiding behind the furnace for about 3 months. McKays is awful!

Yum! Best pizza ever! People love the patties, too. The cheese in their pizza is unlike any other. I don't know own what their secret is, but it's sooooo delicious! Huge slices, too. You've got to try it, if you haven't already.

My favorite pizza in the GTA! Perhaps the world. I love their patties and all the fixings they add in them. If you havent tried their patty, you should. Staff is amazing.
