Mackenzie Glen District Park

This is a wonderful park located in Maple. It has a trail that's a little less than 1 km long that runs around the Ring of the park.

There are soccer grounds, dog parks, playgrounds and water parks in the area.

The trails in walkways connect to several other parks and trails in and around maple.

Adventurous and welcoming.

With a dog park, soccer field, and water park, among other amenities, this beautiful park is a wonderful place to spend time with friends, loved ones, and family.but.with traffic comes pollution. It's a shame that some people litter even though there are ample amounts of empty garbage cans throughout the park. What was once a beautiful park is now filled with litter. Wish the city cleaned the park more often

Great playground with splash pad. It's just not enough tables for picnic and car park are limited. But overall it's a nice place to play with the kids and picnic.

Parking lot was closed at 10: 00 am on a Sunday. Makes the walk long to get to the enclosure for people with mobility issues. Gate to get in is on the far side.

Recently visited this park for my sons soccer game and it’s great! Well kept grounds, splash pad, walking trail around a pond and a good size Dog Park!

This is a local community trail, aka Bartley Smith Greenway North, north to Teston Road and south to McNaughton Road. There are a few ponds and a creek along the trail. The length of the trail in the loop is about 7km, takes about a couple of hours to complete. It was a grey Sunday, it was not busy.

Big park with parking (during the summer / fall - parking is closed during the winter months). There are lovely walking / biking paths (great for stroller walks) a large playground for the kids and even a splashpad. There is a big soccer field and a pond area that usually has some ducks and geese to see, you might even get lucky and see a herring. Can easily spend an afternoon - - - some people even bring tents and a picnic lunch and hang out for the day.

Biggest park in the area. Playground and splashpad is a huge win for young families. There's also a nearby canopy with picnic tables. Not sure if you need to book them or they are a free for all. The soccer field is also massive and great for competitive matchups.

Love it. Great spacious playground and splash pad for kids. My children and I enjoy coming to thid location. There is also a open field for options to have soccer games aswell as a walking trail which is nice and calming.

Great splash water place for family with little children. It has shaded areas and it's kept clean. And it's free!

Very safe park in a lovely area with lots of trees for shade and great for picnics. There's also a huge splash pad and plays playscape to keep the kids entertained.

Having snow fun here with my kids. After yesterday large amount of snow, it turns out more fun to play toboggan here.

This is a great park for families of all ages! I've gone here quite a few times with my friends and family and it's always a quaint place to be. There a pond further into the park and fantastic walking trails throughout.

Beautiful park. Very nice trails for a walk, have kids playground. Washroom was in clean condition. Its a neighborhood park, got plenty of parking.

We enjoyed a picnic on a warm (20 degrees) November day. Strange. There was lots of wide open space and soccer posts as well. I would say it might be roughly around 10 acres big. Maybe even 15? Had a very decent sized newish playground appropriate for most ages. There's a nice walking/biking/scooter in path around the perimeter. There is a scenic pond nearby as well. Ample parking and washrooms available.

Playground is nice, there is a soccer field, lots of space for kids to play. The splash pad is usually not as clean as it should be, it poses a safety risk bc there is trash where kids would be running around bare foot. Kids should have water shoes on. There are change rooms.

Very good for walks, small lake, roofed area, children's park and other sports can be played as well.

Always a nice walk been coming through this area since I was a kid. Theres bathrooms, place for parents to sit in the shade, area for soccer AND a cool waterpark:) (2 gyms for those with kids who like pokemon go)

Amazing park for families with babies. Should have parking dedicated specifically for parents with babies though. Otherwise good areas with shade. Easy access into the park.

I've been to this park for events run by the city they were great events and they were exactly what prom was promised the band was good sound was good overall it was a good experience.

July 13th was Vaghan's Latin Festival held at Mackenzie Glen. It was a perfect day with beautiful latin music, lots of dancing and different vendors were on site bringing the taste of latin america to Vaughn. I got there late, therefore i cannot comment on day long activities but for the little our an hour i was there, i had a fascinating time. The band was very upbeat and skilled and they had everyone on their feet and dancing. I will mark this event as must attend event for years to come.

Use the park for picnics, walking the dogs, playground for running around & water park to cool off.

Went with my son and niece. Park has a wide variety of play options for kids. Splash pad, play ground, soccer field and run way. Also close to a school which has a basketball court.

It's a very relaxing place for children and adults alike. The park, while not the biggest place to play ever, seems very safe with multiple things to do (i.e. Swings, water park, moneky bars, slides, etc.). I like how the bathrooms are conveniently located and there are many places for adults to sit by and keep an eye on their kids.

Great community park we visited. It has a okay ground, spray park and an open field. There is also a cool bridge through the marsh to check out that you can take the kids to find ducks or geese.

This is a very nice park. My kids love it, it is big.

It has a lot of green areas to run in the grass or play soccer. It also has a playground for toddlers and big kids, plus in summer there is also available a splash pad for the kids to play with the water.

You can also go for a 15 minutes walk around the park and see some ducks and geese in the little lake. It is also nice for little kids to learn to use a bicycle.

I recommend it for people of all ages. Very nice to walk around with dogs too or if u just want to take some fresh air.

Also nice for couples who are dating and wanna take a walk, there is some chairs in front of the little lake to seat.

On warm season there is also washroom available during the day.

On July there is also a hispanic festival for spanish people, they offer nice food and music, this event is good for all ages and families.

One of the best parks in Vaughan area. Has a playing ground with foam floor. Splash pad and many other fun stuff.

However I like the playground and the splash pad in this park but I found a few issues that could be addressed. First is that the number of seating benches is very minimal in this park and in summer days gets so hot so you can barely stay there since there are only one area (if I am not mistaken) which is not too close to the park that has some sort of shades. The other thing is that there is no sign that people can not bring their pets into the splash pad area. I have mentioned that to a couple people that their dog was in the middle of splash pad with kids that it is not allowed and they told me show us the sign! Where is the sign for that. If you are a mom you know for sure that no matter how much you love your pet but they are not supposed to be in a public splash pad area with other small kids.
