Mad Radish l Healthy Restaurant & Catering

My wife and I come here every weekend to split a burrito, but today after I had left with my order, I realized that the burrito was about half the normal weight and half the length (the sticker is about half the length of the burrito). Still cost $20 after tax + tip, this is some serious shrinkflation, I guess we won’t be going back.

I went to Mad Radish Glebe with my sister and some friends for dinner. It was my first time and the lady at the cash was super nice and helpful, and the food was great. Will come again

A fantastic place for those into healthy habits or not, with options for everyone. The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly, and the space is clean.

Update. Place is honestly inconsistent. Salads can be good depending on who makes them or a complete waste of money. I have had salads that had barely any ingredients but rice and salad. However, when it is made right, their salads are tasty.

Soup was embarrassingly bad though - I ordered on uber eats and it was basically WATER with red curry paste, that was their chowder? Are you kidding me? I wouldn't serve this to a dog.

Other than that, I do like their options; just wishing for more consistency.

5 star rating because of how my complaint, (which she could have easily dismissed as a question of personal taste…) was handled by the higher up.she listened and by her response I could tell she cared about my business.

Tasty “fast food” option that’s healthy but on the expensive side. The amount of dressing is inconsistent compared to previous orders of the same item without customizations.

Top 3 recommendations would be the maple farm bowl, Barranquilla burrito bowl and the Smoking Gun.

Drove from greely on the recommendation of a friend. Found parking. Walked in and waited a few minutes to be acknowledged by a young woman who was as happy to see me, as I was to find out they don't take cash. Guess I'll never know if the food is good or not.

Staff look like they'd rather not be there

Honestly it was such a pleasent experience. It was packed crowded due to a game but we still receiced our order very fast. It is a little overpriced but you can feel the ingredients are very fresh and very tasty. I appreciate that they have several locations and I can go whenever I want. We usually eat burrito bowls and they are loaded. Personally, I like a lot of protein so if you also do you might want to ask for extra protein since the amount they put it a little lacking according to my preferences. But overall it’s a very filling lunch! I hope they have fountain drinks soon:) I would rate the food a 9/10 and definitely recommend stopping by! Sorry for the pictures they were taken in a rush to not miss a game!

I stopped for a fast dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity, quality, and freshness of the food. The staff were helpful and I also really appreciated the utensils and food containers being compostable. This will definitely be my quick stop option whenever I'm in the area.

I ordered the Banh mi tofu sandwhich and it was made so poorly. The bread completely fell apart. There were 3 pieces of tofu that were so large that it was impossible to eat. I was very disappointed.

They do not accept cash. So I didn't go in. I will not support businesses that do not accept cash.

Half of Quebec just learned what happens when the power goes out - registers and card machines don't work - internet and cell service was also down for a day in some places. If we lose cash, businesses will suffer too.

EDIT: I'm replying to the canned reply that Mad Radish made. None of it makes any sense. Businesses have been using cash for centuries. Businesses continue to use cash. The only ones who benefit from making everything digital are banks because they get extra fees and control everything. MR's excuses are exactly what the banks are telling them to say. If Mad Radish wanted to 'alienate' me further, their AI-sounding-robot-reply did just that. I'm not going to contact their 'co-founder', 'Stephanie', who wasn't even professional enough to reply with her last name, because I'm certain I'll just hear a bunch of parroted-nonsense excuses that are copied all over the internet by people too young to understand what is really happening.

Very good salads and amazing smoothies! Had the Caesar salad. It has lots of flavour which was a little overpowering after several bites but still an incredible taste. Would be great as a side to bring home and share with a second person. Loved the Nutty by Nature smoothie!

Great place! The customer service is excellent, a very nice employee helped me on the phone with questions about allergens. Highly recommend the fish ‘n chips bowl - it was delicious! The portion size and price is good too. Will definitely eat here again.

Good food. Portions of chicken was so tiny, pri pri chicken bowl has 13g of protein based on their website nutrients.

Great place for a healthy dish. The quantity of food is quite satisfying. The food is also quite fresh.

Walked by here 1000 times always wondered if it was just vegan - it’s not! The Piri Piri chicken was the bomb!

This little place in the Glebe surprised me with its delicious salads and burritos. Fresh and fast service by very friendly staff meant I was seated and eating my Smoking Gun salad bowl within a couple of minutes. They looked very busy with Uber Eats, but still managed to serve me with enthusiasm. I think I will try their uber service next time I am home on a day off work!
