Madameeks is amazing. I live in a big Ontario city with tonnes of shawarma, been to the Middle East, this shawarma is delicious. The owners treat you like family with warmth and hospitality, I can't wait to go back, and I highly recommend you visit!

Okay this place was awesome.
First time here and they were so helpful with the menu and friendly and welcoming. They seemed to know their customers too which is nice. The food was really good!
I couldn't decide what I wanted so they had a combo plate with all the things I liked and put them all together and it looked beautiful and tasted lovely and fresh! The lettuce was all green and crispy which honestly these days is a pleasant surprise because so many restaurants have wilty brown lettuce. I loved it, can't wait to go back!

I'd love to see a Shawarma poutine added to the menu! I used to live in a city that had a Shawarma place on every corner and they were always really good and I remember when one place started with "shwarma poutines" on their menu and those became a huge hit in the city to the point that every restaurant started adding it to the menu.

Every time I go to Madameek in Petawawa, I am impressed by how delicious the food is and how big the portions are. The line ups can get a bit long during the dinner rush, but damn is it ever worth the wait & it's just a testament to how good it is! The staff is always very pleasant and friendly and we look forward to our monthly take out meal from this location. 10/10! PS - Do yourself a favour and get the baclava! It is to die for!

Holy heck this is a gem of a place! Authentic, so flavourful, and the staff were lovely. You can tell they love what they're doing, it shines in their food!

Ordered a beef shawarma tonight. Ended up receiving a chicken one and was super disappointed. I should've watched them make it to make sure I actually got what I ordered. My fault I guess.

As many other reviewers have noted, the food is EXCELLENT, and the staff is friendly and outgoing. First time there, but I will be a regular.

Recommended by my hotel's desk clerk, when I finally went there for a carry-out dinner I saw all of the awards on their walls and the steady stream of customers coming and going for their call-ahead carry-out orders. Took me a while to decide on a couple of items from their menu. The staff working were very friendly and sincerely enjoying the roles in providing delicious quality foods. And the baba ganouj was a silky smokey perfection.

Possibly the best shwarma place I've ever been to, and I've been to many in Ontario and also in Europe. Service is fantastic, always happy and never any mistakes. Food is always very delicious and full of flavour. Great sides - be sure to try the garlic fries. Love it!

We had the mixed shawarma plate. The beef was tender and delicious but the chicken was average.
Staff were friendly and warm.

The food quality was fine but not as best as we experienced last year. I hope they can keep their quality consistence.

Being from Ottawa, I've eaten my fair share of shawarma. Immediately entering this business, the staff was friendly, patient and very courteous. I was expecting just a run of the mill shawarma, but what I experienced was above and beyond that expectation. Finger licking good down to the last bite. Everything was well seasoned and not microwaved shoe leather like I've experienced at other restaurants in Ottawa. A true gem in Petawawa that everyone should experience. Well done, folks. I'll be back!

Every time I go in everyone is so friendly! The chicken shawarma is so fresh - favourite place to get takeout in petawawa.

This is some of the best shawarma I've had period. Never disappointed, love this place. They were super busy and still took the time to make sure that not only was the food good, but that it looked great too.

Highly recommend if you haven't tried it you won't be disappointed! Plus beautiful story of how the restaurant came to be the staff are soo kind friendly.

Absolutely the worst place ever to eat! I ordered a dish with four falafels, which was overpriced for what I got and had a terrible time ordering because the music was ear-deafening and had to shout to the person who was taking my order, but the ridiculous thing is when I looked at my dish I only saw one falafel and realized they cut one falafel in four. I guess that's their definition of "four" falafels. Don't waste your money!

Good food and reasonable prices. Last time it took close to 30 minutes to get the order so be prepared to wait if you're there in the evening.

Horrible! No one behind the counter making the food was even wearing a mask. Not happy. Won’t be going there for awhile.

$14 for a fattoush salad with iceberg lettuce and greasy chicken pieces. Unreal. I guess it's easy to trick the locals in Petawawa but this wouldn't fly as a fattoush in Ottawa or Toronto. Unbelievable.

I have honestly never regretted anything I've gotten from here. I may be biased as I've been ordering from here since it opened, but this is the first time leaving a comment or review for here so, take that as you will. Always delicious, always feel like my order is a priority even when they're clearly swamped, always absolutely super happily stuffed after eating. Sure, I've had to wait a while sometimes in line like any place, but because of that I've studied the menu, and watched a bunch of other people's orders, and I've discovered and tried a bunch of new foods that I love now that I would never have bothered to try if I hadn't been exposed to this place. Still pronounce them wrong (the vine leaf rice things.so good, but I screw up the name EVERY time) but I'm glad I've had the chance to experience so many good things. So yeah, you don't know me, I'm just a normal guy, but I love this place and encourage anyone to try it.

The shawarma here is incredible! I have always been a fan of Lebanese food, but after trying shawarma in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Fredericton, Halifax, and Ottawa, this place is hands-down the best! This was my first ever meal from Madameek, but I will most certainly be back. Their food is a symphony of flavour on the palate.

Came all the way from Ottawa because I heard great things! Was even better than it was made out to be! Perfectly made shawarmas! 11/10 will definitely be back in petawawa to see them within the week lol!

Madameek's is one of Petawawa's best restaurants. The food is absolutely delicious, and the people who work there are always the kindest. Definitely amazing.

Overall I found this restaurant to be ok. I come from ottawa and we decided to pass by because of the raving reviews. The sharwarma you get in ottawa is tastier, cheaper and bigger portions. I was shocked that a beef plate with extremely small portion was $22 when I get a beef plate at a place like King Sharwarma it's about $15 with good overflowing the plate. Madameek is definitely clean compared to some restaurants but I believe the draw for many of its clients is the fact that the owner is a veteran (I think). Most of the clients when I was present were in uniform.

Great food and great staff working there, a little pricey but I have been spoiled by the Toronto prices for this style of food where there is a lot of competition. No place that I have found in Toronto is as good as Madameeks though. I hope they add chicken on the rocks to their menu!

Friendly, personable staff, but Omg! The food is delicious! I have been back several times, trying different dishes, and they are all excellent.

Huge selection of Lebanon food to chose from. This is a family owned restaurant with a huge connection to the Military. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Can't say enough good things about this business. Everytime I've been here, ingest greeted as soon as walk in. Always get treated like family here. The food is amazing and the employees are just fantastic. This business definitely knows and understands customer service.

Great food, portions are a little smaller and pricier than what I'm used to getting in Ottawa though. Also good to note, the potatoes are the soft kind not the crispier kind.

Disappointed. Potatoes were stale and sandy. Chicken was dry. Salad was old. Portions were small for the hefty price. Nothing beats the quality of Ottawa, namely Shawarma Palace near Britannia Beach and the Three Brothers chains. The average price in Ottawa is $25 to $30 for TWO shawarma platters and you get to pick your own toppings and the portions are massive. Here you pay $40 and get what I described above. Madameek, you can do better.

Went on the recommendation of a CAF member while in Petawawa. Will certainly recommend this to anyone passing through, the owners are very socialble and fun to talk with, they are happy to serve CAF members and are right near the base.

The meal itself was delicious, high recommend the spicy sauce (it is quite mild, but a good flavoring). Had a chicken shwarma that was incredibly delicious and will say that the owners know what they are doing for sure.

Excellent food. Service was exceptional as well. We got 2 mix grill platters for 4 people. A feast was had!

Generous servings and great flavour! Highly recommended! Some of the best shawarma (chicken and beef) and kofta I've ever had. We had the mixed grill platter, a falafel pita and a chicken shawarma pita. Super friendly and warm staff. Looking forward to going back.

Awesome place! Food was full of flavour and spice. Staff was super nice and friendly, helped us to order because it was our first time visiting. Beef shawarma wrap tasted amazing. Only reason it's not a 5 star review is my order got switched with my friend's by accident. No big deal though.

This is a great Lebanese restaurant and take out. The food is fresh, tasty and the restaurant honours the fallen Canadian soldiers with pictures and other items. A very warm and friendly spot.

The food here is spectacular. Lebanese cuisine is quite delicious. The staff understand their food and can help you find a menu item that suites your taste. They staff also have a take out and eat in option which is convenient. Also the portion sizes are very good. Highly recommended.

I enjoy going here because whatever I get is always very tasty. The back story of how the restaurant came to be is very touching. They take pride in everything they do.

Nice Lebanese fastfood restaurant. Polite and helpful personnel. Some limited space to sit down for a meal, but not particularly peaceful or cosy. An improvement there would potentially gain them the final star.
As long as you are in there for some really tasty and reasonably healthy fastfood, you could not choose better.

Great place for a Shawarma. Friendly owner. They serve you in memory of their son who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving Canada. There are other food options, too. Locations in Petawawa and Pembroke.

My husband always orders a "half and half torpedo shawarma". Half chicken half beef I think. He is a big eater and this usually does a good job at hitting the spot!
I always get a reg chicken shawarma, extra garlic.and we share a Fatoush Salad with Akawi cheese (a fantastic recommendation by a fellow food lover) -this meal feeds us WELL! A side of garlic potatoes if we are really really hungry!

There is nothing bad to say about this place. Their Pembroke location is just as amazing. Their food is fantastic and a refreshing change up to all of the pizza and burger joints around. There is so much flavour in their food and you can truly taste the authenticity. I’m not sure what we’d do here without Madameeks! Love love love them ️
