Madinah Grill

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We ordered the kabab platter for six along with beef kalabhuna. We loved the food. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful setting.

Delicious kebabs & Chicken girls, just what was missing in Canada. My go-to place now! ️. Reasonable prices and extremely delicious authentic Bangladeshi/pakistani /Indian food!

Very good Bengali buffet.
Two things I hope they improve -

1. Dessert could be better
2. Change the interior a bit. Like setting the buffet table adjacent to the wall

If you're not trying out their weekend bhorta buffet, with extra options up for grabs like tandoori chicken and chicken liver curry, you're missing out BIG TIME!

Awesome vorta, not comparable with anything we have in GTA area. If you are missing bangldeshi vortha, do not miss their vortha buffet.

Best tandoori chicken in town.we also had beef tehari and it's delicious as well.customer service is way better than others

The taste of the food is good, but the portion are very small for the price i paid, so please work on your portions it too small comparatively then other restaurants

Had weekend brunch all you can eat. Food is ok. Nothing great. Poor service and disorganized. Buffett duration is two and half hours but some of the food didn't even come until one hour later. They looked like they are doing the buffet for the first time, though they are doing it for years.

Buffet is awful. They keep marketing it but it is absolutely not worth $20 barely anything on the buffet. No refills. If you ask to refill they will throw a few pieces. Tandoori was cold as ice. Mayur serves a much much better buffet for $20 atleast there is something to eat. If everything is over and alao no stock to refill that too at 3pm then why do you have a buffet? Never going back

This is a good place for family to have some good tasty Indian food.
Staff is nice.

The environment is quiet and not rushed. If you are in a hurry, call in advance and place your order. Since they cook the food fresh and will need time to prepare.

I have no problem with their food, However I am very dissatisfied about their portion size. We were six people and had to order 9 portions of rice because of their small quantity.

Their is no way it justifies the quantity considering the price. I have never experienced this kind of cheap attitude in any other south asian restaurants.

Best place for authentic bengali food! Usually weekends they have buffet option with varieties of vorta and other mouth watering dishes! Best place to go to if you are missing home cooked meals!

Unprofessional customer care and not being honest in delivering right quantity of food. Food was mediocre. I don't recommend this place.

Would not recommend and will never return. I ordered in store for take out. I was told 30 minutes. I gave them a two hour pick up time. When returning for pick up, I was told that the item is not available and the waitress is
new and she didnt know. Ordered somethimg else and Waited the 20 minutes and asked if it was almost ready yet, just to be met with the same answer, 5-6 minutes, with animosity from the female server. Ended up having to wait about 25 minutes in the restaurant for the order. Almost an hour in total. Horrible service. You're better off going anywhere else across the street. No apologies or discount.

I waited 30 minutes to get my biryani for take out and the taste was. I take it to the park to eat they didn’t but any spoon or forks or napkins when I called they told me it’s your mistake U have to ask for it and they told me we eat it by hands we don’t use spoons or forks for biryani! He blow my mind

Went over for a much advertised weekend buffet. I landed there at 355pm.
It's a small space that was filled with over noisey women and the staff didn't say a word to them for the benefit if other patrons. It was a torture sitting through the buffet a total unpleasant ambience food is very basic for the price they charge I paid 45 dollars for 2.its called a buffet but has no options of Roti or Nan they only serve white boiled rice. Mostly vegetable selections one chicken curry. There were only 2 rasgolla left and the staff did not want to replenish. A simple courtesy of just announcing the end of their buffet time at 430pm, would save me the trouble of trying to convince them to give me two cups of tea (included in the buffet). Finally after much coaxing I got a cup of tea after 15 mins. Overall I will not recommend this place to anyone. I could have eaten a better buffet for $ 22.50 per person anywhere else.

Went there for Saturday's special vorta buffet. Each of the vorta was mouthwatering. Highly recommend anyone craving Bangladeshi vortas.

The food tastes amazing! It's always fresh and tasty.
Customer service is great the owner, Papia and Upama were very sweet and hospitable.

Take out experience is horrible as always, all the time, all chicken items are Bar-B-Q (whatever you order Curry, Biryani doesn't matter), tried multiple times different types of food, results same Bar-B-Q chicken.

Quality food with great portions and excellent, formal ambiance. Great food and exceptional service. 100% worth it….

One of my relatives got some catering from here and the food was delicious! After that I came to the restaurant to buy some small snacks like Samosas and more things. The cashier/front person told us that they don't make samosas in small quantities only in large quantities and she was pretty rude about it. Guess I'll never come here again. Food is great, however the service is not.

Love this restaurant. Amazing & fresh taste in every bite and visit. Definitely recommending and recommended to all my friends and family. My go to is the boneless chicken times biryani with beef kebabs and mango lassi.

It was really great. Everyone likes their kalabhna beef a lot. Staffs and management are all great. We will recommend this place for small parties upto 50 people.

I would mark 4 star for vorta buffet which was pretty good. But I am very disappointed I pre-ordered a takeaway 'kochu loti chingri' after coming home I noticed there are so many big size fish bone in the kochu loti. Since I am pregnant I lost my whole appetite to try that. I live in Whitby so it was not worth it to go back to complain.

The food I had here today was really quite tasty (chicken tikka, beef kebab with naan and rice) but the portions could have been a bit larger. My friend liked his curry beef and rice.

The girl who served us was very pleasant with lots of smiles!

In chicken biryani how come you put a piece of tandoori chicken. Try to sell accurate food, stop cheating and confusing people. I ordered chicken biryani not biryani rice and a pice of tandori chicken. Waste of money and time.

Been here twice and both times the experience has been outstanding! Delicious goat biryani, with generous amounts of goat meat. And their sheesh & bihari kebabs are absolutely yummy! Also wish to make a special mention of Tuli who served us. She was gracious and helpful.

Second visit to this place.first visit i got a surprise with "Party Naan" (Costco bought naan) served with kabob platter (kabob/tandoori chicken taste was ok. I have had better) Although they do serve freshly made naan. Platter comes with Costco bought naan.

Second visit was.completely disappointing. Ordered roast platter.long weekend special.got served in a huge tray.as soon as you opened the tray.it looked like they have literally (through) dumped the food in the tray.shammi kabob was a joke.burnt and the size. I wanna laugh but it was sad. Let's talk about roast.well it was nothing near anything like roast.we are still trying to figure out wat it was? Old chicken used for sure and the amount of rice was too little.

It wasn't only the waste of money.simply had a disappointing family evening with the food.

Management has reached out to me and acknowledged the shortcomings along with a complimentary offer to make things right.

I picked up 3 orders of Chicken roast pulaw for 4 people $39.99 on Victoria day May 24th, Monday. Simply the best food I ate. So tasty and fresh I loved it and all my friends loved it so much

It is a good place for Bangladeshi food. Their Jalebi is really crispy and tasty. I also like their Biryani. But they lack professionalism.

Very good Bangladeshi food, clean ambiance. Their vorta selection is awesome.almost all items tasted authentic. I really loved the jilapee and tea and we keep going to eat again and again

Tried their Goat dal, wasn’t expecting that it’ll taste good. But it was! Also I am pleased with the quantity, there was enough meat. One thing that I dint like that it was very mild. If you like spicy food like me make sure to tell them to make it spicy

I like the foods and the price is not that high but I don't like the service because it's so slow I order beryani it takes 55 minutes I was waiting in the restaurant

Our go to place for their weekend vorta buffet. We like their jilapis as well. Haven’t tried any other items but heard they are good as well.

Yesterday we have purchased Zilapi, beguni and halim. The zilapi was over fried and under the quality. The beguni was also over fried. There was wastage pieces of meat in halim. Me and my family was disappointed too much biz we were purchased those items for our iftar. It should not be happen with anyone. Hope the owner will take care of their food quality

The beef kalo vhuna was sweet as always rather spicy, even this time i told to make it spicy not sweet. I live nearby so its the best option for me. I think south asian food (curry) can be anything but not sweet.

Amazing food. Loved their Mixed Kebab Platter. The meat was so juicy and amazing. The prices are very reasonable and quantity is generous. Would definitely recommend trying from here. Will return to u guys soon.

Terrible terrible service. They will take your order over the phone and will promise to deliver on time, but most of the times, they only will start preparing your order when you will be there to pick up your order.

We ordered three times and they repeated this process two times already. Last time, they made us wait one hour inside the store. Can't recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible smell, food was terrible too. Even our house smelled terrible after heating the food.
They must have used some old oil or something was really wrong with the taste.
Looks like the taste is in consistent.

Pleasantly surprised by the taste.
Decided to try the daily deal.
Inside the restaurant didn’t smell that good and the lady wasn’t exactly friendly.
It was tasty. Not the typical Indian or Pakistani Biriyani.
In short, it’s worth the visit.

The food I tried was their Bihari Kabab, it was very spicy. I like the setting of the restaurant as well as the customer service. It'd be great as a date spot as well.

I went to this resturant many times. They have very tasty food. But, its very very expensive for the quantity they give. They should charge a price that is reasonable for the quantity they give. I am never going back because after 5 times, I was like no im not going again. So, I would order and they said it would take one hour. I came back after an hour to see they didnt even start my order. So rude! And they are taking other peoples orders who have larger orders than me. VERY RUDE SERVICE

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is flavorable and the crew is attentive and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we pass a lovely evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

The best buffet place I've ever know and the authentic bengali traditional foods are really delicious, friendly behaviour and all foods have good price. Highly recommended!

For buffet, I will recommend to add any grilled dish as Restaurant name includes the word grill so my expected was that there will be any bbq. Secondly, adding naan and 2nd sweet will be great as well.

Best Bangladeshi kabab in town. Bihari kabob is one of the most delicious kabob. Half chicken is also good. Dal gost is the best with nan or white rice. Best appetizer would be lollipop chicken. Service is also good.
They have Vhorta platters also but never tried yet.

Went here for the buffet and found that options were EXTREMELY limited; consisting of only 4 different dishes and the rest just sauces and sides. The fish dish had bones in it and there were no desert. Steamed rice, chicken, naan and chai for $85 was very disappointing. Restaurant otherwise looked decent.

If you want to try authentic and tasty Bangladeshi cuisine, the this is a place to go. Their beef kala bhuna is really good and the selection of kebabs are great aswell.

Ordered beef biriyani, ordinary and disappointing taste. Anyone with packet biriyani masala at home can cook better then that. Tried kebab items, which are okay at best. Times have changed and there are new Bangladeshi restaurants who are doing better.if this restaurant wants to survive in the long run, they have to come up with far better menus and recipes. Not recommended.

I tired their buffet which was really good. Really disappointed with chicken biriyani as it was only rice with dry chicken tandori. They should improve it!

We love going out. Last night we visited this superb restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a beautiful evening there with very good dishes and a professional crew and a talented chief cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly come back very soon. We deeply recommend.

My first experience at Madina Grill. Really it’s good experience for me. Their Food quality and Service are so excellent! My wife and children enjoyed the food.

Best tikka ever. You will never be disappointed.
They actually listened to me when I said I like my food very spicy. I couldn’t ask more. Also had lamb biriyani and Tawa chicken. Every bite made it more satisfying. Lastly, I wish I could live near the store so I could pay a visit every evening for their Special made ‘CHA’
It reminded me of all the evenings I used spend with my friends at ‘Tong er Dokan’
Had to mention about the Servers. They are way too friendly and give you all you need for a perfect dine in.

MY ORDER
I order a kabob roll. It comes sliced in half while wrapped in tin foil. It was a big messy once the foil was opened up.

The bill after tax came to $10.16.
($11.68 after 15% tip)

FLAVOUR
Overall the taste was good but it was sloppily wrapped. Once the foil was of the whole thing fell apart. The meat was a bit over cooked.

SERVICE
The lady seen i was struggling with a messy napkin and without me asking put extras on my table. That's good service.

Out of all the desi restaurants ive eaten from, this one is #1 in all categories. Food, service, rates, speed, and did i mention FOOD? ! The most delicious dishes ive ever had. My favorite was the lamb khirahi and the tikka. I came here 3x with my family and were never disappointed. I can see why they so busy. It can be hard to get a table, sometimes line is so long people waiting outside. But is it worth the wait? DEFINITELY!

We took two beef item, rice, nun, shrimp, pomfret fish. Each item was excellent. Although when we asked for more rice, they asked for 30 minutes for that!

Great food. We were a large party that ordered almost 10 different types of dishes, all were scrumptious. For our large order the wait wasn't long at all. Very friendly staff.

Great staff and customer service. Orderd chicken biryani, got rice and dry tandoori chicken. Fish fry was good. If you want to try biryani for sure not the right place.

The most disgusting and greedy management you will ever have in Toronto. If you plan for any party there, please avoid this place. No commitment, Gulishthan type fraud owner and management.
