We went for dinner to Magadhi after hearing a lot of praises about this place. Not only did the place live upto the praises but went beyond our expectations. There is a wait time to get a table (probably because it was a weekend). The food was super awesome - we ordered podi idli, curd vada, Medhu vada, Gobi 65, Ghee dosa & Channa batura - all of which were really good in terms of both quality & quantity. Falooda & coffee was also great. Very attentive service not just when ringing the service bell but otherwise too. Definitely a place we will come back to. The best part was the bill and it was a pleasant surprise- came to only 68.

No jain option. Dosa, coconut chutney, green chutney, tomato chutney was good. Sambhar was good. Flies while having food was bad experience.

One of the Best South Indian food in Brampton. Its my regular place to enjoy South Indian dishes.

We had lunch at Magadhi on Saturday. They weren’t too busy so it was nice to get a table pretty quick. We ordered a couple of idli and vada plates, and to our surprise they came out warm and quick. That was good. Not a fan of their sambhar. Cheese dosa had A LOT of cheese. Probably won’t be back here again. If they fix a few things I think this place will do very well! Thanks for having us though.

I went there to have dosa, which is decent, but their chutney is out of this world. I visited them again just because I liked their chutney so much.

Tasty food
Parota kurma (South Indian parota), sambar vada, chilli garlic masala dosa are my all time favourite. Quality of food is great. Very friendly staffs. We need to pay the bill in the counter, bill doesn’t come to our table.

Super fast service.order arrived within 3 mins of placing it.the servers are amazing.other places better watch out because a new competitor is in town!

Ordered 3 different types of doses and falooda. Everything was quite average. The best thing was their service. Food was served within 10mins of order even though it was quite busy on the weekend. Food was average. Prices were lesser as compared to other dosa places. Can go once in a while for a change.

Very poor customer service. Staff is not trained properly, Instead of making it right for customer they give you attitude. It is my humble request Please train your staff how to deal with customers before you put them on floor.

Never ever try there spring cheese dosa.its was lettuce dosa there is no cheese only lettuce, worst dosa I have ever tried in brampton. Don’t go this place

Tried their spring roll dosa and cheese dosa recently. Not that good as compared to their regular Dosas. Mango Lassi is too good. Masala Dosa is great.

Dine in first time here and the all dosa's were deliciously. I ordered Rava Masala Dosa and Chilli Garlic Dosa and it's was made well done by chef which is from South India. The taste of every chutney was very fresh and mouthwatering. The dine in atmosphere was nice and tidy. Customer service was also great. I really want to visit here again and full my belly with another special dosa. Must visited South Indian restaurant.

The best south indian cuisine in Brampton. Must must must try if you want to try indian taste of sambhar and different chutnies in Canada.

I visited with my friend here and we ordered masala dosa and chole bahutre. Taste of masala dosa is below average and no proper stuffing of potatoes were there and dosa is like soggy soggy.but chose bahture is okay.

It’s One of the restaurants in my list which I will never step in. Ordered Tamarind rice, shocked it was done with basmati, I’m not sure if only they do it with Basmati or other restaurants as well. Next item is highlight, poori with kuruma was a total disaster.could smell oil in poori & kuruma was bad & we ended up throwing all in garbage.
Usually i try maximum not to be harsh in comments & that’s the reason i was hesitant to post this, but then i will be doing injustice to my people who read my reviews hence my reviews are brutally honest.
Management pls take this positively and try to focus on your food quality.

Worst service. We've been sitting for 15 minutes and then when someone arrives to take our order, they say that they only serve that item till 3: 30, we've been sitting since 3: 15.

Food was great!

We had the mini idli dipped in Sambhar, chilli paneer dosa, pav bhaji dosa, and spring dosa. All were amazing. The taste of sambhar was really authentic.

Food was good, but the sitting arrangement for 2 people is not good at all. Was given a tiny table in corner where I couldn’t even fit my order.

I ordered biryani for takeout and they didn’t provide any cutlery or napkins. Now only question arise is how am I suppose to eat this. This kind of inconvenience happened twice I think I only taking any food just because it’s on my way to work.
Please either train your staff or make sure everyone is getting proper service regardless of ur so called cost cutting techniques.

I use to go to guru luxmi in Mississauga to eat dosa, but due to pandrmic they close their dining and i was very inconvenient even when they opened their dining waiting was the biggest issue, but after i came to magadi, i dont think so, i need to go to any other place for the dosa. Such an amazing south indian restaurant equivalent to guruluxmi and better, coz there is less waiting in this restaurant.

Ordered today on uber eats, the dosa was so good, tasted heaven and especially Sambar it was amazing.
I am definitely coming to try it in restaurant as well.

If you like spicy south Indian food, Magdhi is your place. We were a group of 10. Ordered all types of dosa, rasam idli, uttapam. Food was nice as I said above spice level was at higher side. This place was very busy despite the Service was good and wait times were in acceptable range (10-15 mins). This place gets filled very quickly so plan accordingly. The sitting area is little congested if you have a big group (like us)

Below 0 level, girl in front is so rude, for everything she has one answer No.please visit some other south Indian restaurant like Guru laxmi and ajapar to learn some service etiquettes.

Amazing Food! Some seriously good South Indian food, preparation was nice, Sambar was authentic plus the chutneys were everything you need.

I personally recommend Mysore Masala Dosa + Rava Masala Dosa as my personal picks along with Medhu Vada. Vada was so crispy & extremely well done.

The only thing I personally felt was server could be more friendly.it seemed like the lady was throwing food at us lol! Apart from that it was great!

If you don’t care about service & just want some yummy South Indian food, this is your place.to mention prices are affordable too & it’s good quality clean place with nice Indian music playing in background! Highly recommended!

Simple restaurant nothing fancy, but great South Indian food. Try their variety of dosas or idili/wada combo. Quick and friendly service. Dosas are well prepared and crispy. The masala potato filling is good love this restaurant and their food preparation.

Usually the place to go to when Gurulakshmi has a long wait. The Dosas are almost as good. Decent idlis and vadas. Definitely worth a try

One of the most authentic South Indian restaurants. The restaurant recently got an ambience overhaul and is lot better than before. The taste is delicious as always. The service is super quick and the staff is well trained. They repeat your order, ask you to check the bill before you pay and quick to respond to your request. They also offer sambar at no extra cost.

I am a foodie and like to try out possibly all restaurants in the GTA. Being a north Indian, I have a special inclination towards south Indian dishes and therefore, was looking for a new good south Indian restaurant. Until today, we had been going to a restaurant in Mississauga. Today, we (a group of five) decided to try Magadhi restaurant located at a convenient location in Brampton. We were greeted by the staff at the entrance.
All of us had different needs and palate.
The server discussed various possible good and popular delicacies and then called the chef to explain further. The chef appeared to be quite professional and experienced.
I was impressed with the prompt service and good quality food.
The items were quite reasonably priced.
We enjoyed the food.
The manager and the chef took our feedback for continual improvement.
The cashier also thanked again for our visit.
I would like to recommend this restaurant to people who are looking for an option with cost-effective enjoyment with tasty food.
Of course, I shall be coming again here.

Loved the Dosas and Methu Vada. Best authentic south indian restaurant in Brampton West. I am surprised it isnt busy given all the 5 star reviews. Prices are very reasonable.

Spoke to chef personally who is from Chennai. Very polite and humble. Hopefully their business catches up soon. My family will be visiting very often.

Got masoore masala dosa with onion paid $11 but I guess I wasted my money dosa was ridiculous I end up throwing it in the garbage I told the girl clearly I need it spicy but there was no salt and peppe and even the potato has knots in it. If you spending that much money better to go to gurulaxmi will never return Back

We went almost 15 people first time and it was almost closing time, still they welcomed us and served really good authentic South Indian dishes. I really appreciated for that and if someone want to get good taste of South Indian then definitely try this one, you will be fan of this restaurant!

We are a regular here. The food is very good quality and the place is quiet and not usually crowded. The price is reasonable compared to similar restaurants.

Amazing! Never seen so many verity of Dosas in my life. Very quite environment and very professional, friendly and able staff. It is a “Must Visit” place. And about food “ITS FINGER LICKING GOOOOOOOODDDDDDD. ”.

Great place. Best dosa ever so far I had eaten in 50 different restaurants including many in South India, North India, America etc. Feeling blessed to have this awesome place for me to eat frequently here.

Dosa is packed with flavour and the chutneys taste so fresh. Sambar is very savoury and tastes just like how mom makes it.

Visited this new South Indian restaurant for dinner just now. Food had authentic South Indian flavours. Very pleased with the piping hot food and good, friendly service. Most of all very pleased with the portions and 3 types of chutneys.soooo yummy.

Taste amazing. We ordered medu vada, mini idly, chola masala dosa. They all came with white and green chutney, tomatoe chutney, as well as the sambar on the side. We also got the special thali which came with 2 veggie, yogurt, rasam, sambar, lime pickel, papadam, dessert, poori and chickpeas curry. Its alot of food and they were all so finger licking delicious. Will defntly go again. Reasonable price for the portions and service was quick too.
