Discriminatory service due to 12% tip on just under 50 dollars for lunch. Edit: Also provided generic prepackaged response to negative review, in spite of the fact that I'm never going back there again. Other customers have also noted potential health code violations in their food, including flies and hair, where they've provided photos. These generic prepackaged responses show how little they actually care about customer service, food, and experience. It would beneficial to everyone if this restaurant no longer exists.
My partner and I love coming here, it’s our favourite comfort food spot and the staff here is great! Eri & Rene always serve us with the smile, as well as other kind members of the staff. Fresh pulled noodles are to die for, 10/10. Highly recommend!
English name is Magic Noodle, tucked in a plaza this is a 24 hour noodle place to satisfy those late night cravings. Steady business when I was there around 1am after playing hockey. Noodles were tasty and a good size. Overall reasonable vale for price and a good late night uptown option.
I've been here once and it's enough. I won't go again. Everyone who went with me was very dissatisfied. Not even one bowl was finished, and there was no service at all. A few people wanted a few small bowls, and everyone could try different noodles. I was ignored so many times that no one responded, but there was still no small bowl.
5 stars. Daniel was our server and had a lot of attention to detail. I had a taste for a specific soup and he knew exactly what I was looking for. I got the Tomato with silk string noodle. It was so delicious. Great appetizers as well! Fresh and overall great service. We will be back and we are from Ohio (USA). Daniel was great!
Came here for the anniversary promo but have been to other locations in the past. Authentic homey taste and fast service. You order using the QR code on your table directly. Really can't go wrong here!
Magic Noodle is a fantastic find! Their hand-pulled noodles are deliciously satisfying, and the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup is a standout. The Dumplings are flavorful and a great accompaniment. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. They also close really late which is great.
Very good and fresh made-in restaurant noodles. Tried the Triple BBB noodle soup and their Curry Chicken fried noodle. Both tasted good and are good portions. Restaurant is nicely sized and is fairly clean. Service is also good. Repeat customer for sure.
Service was relatively quick. The noodles were very good and were made fresh to order. The broth was flavourful and not overly seasoned leaving you guzzling for water hours later on. I ordered extra noodles for $1 though it didnr appear to be more noodles than the other order. They should prob serve it in a separate bowl to make it more clear. Had a decent amount of meat but skimpy on veg. At $10ish per dish, worth the price.
This place is so good, way beyond my expectation. Noodle is big portion, it has eggs, beef slices, fried pork, and duck (I guess) for only 10.99. I don't know why the average review is below 4 stars.
One of my favorite noodles place. Thier speciality is hand pull noodles. They offer variety of noodles bowl. And best part of this restaurant chain is they open 24/7. Taste wise it is not bad choice when you are pretty hungry.
Delicious choice for a big bowl of noodles. Many flavours to choose from and a variety of noodle type options. I recommend the classic noodle type. There a some side dishes that are worth trying out but ultimately the value is in the noodles. Give the place a try!
Visited this Magic Noodle location on Sunday in the afternoon. The most important feature of this restaurant should be the noodles and only the noodles. We are expecting hand pulled noodles to meet minimum expectations which is to have each strand noodle of consistent size. Unfortunately this minimum expectation was not met as some strands are as thick as Shanghai fry noodles while others look like Angel hair pasta.and that alone says it all about a noodle shop.
In addition, our wait staff bringing our bowls of noodles to our table would claw the bowl at the top with a finger of lenghty nail, just grazing the top of the soup. It was relatively unappetizing as a start.
Lastly, the level of hygiene of a restaurant can be represented by the conditions of the bathrooms. We saw vomit and urine all over the bathroom and only to hear the staff while serving customers to argue who would clean up the bathrooms.
I do love when I go to the other locations, but the service at this location was just lousy.
Order noodles without bok choy, cabbage, or onions,
Received a plate of noodles with bok choy, cabbage, and onions.
Asked if they wouldn’t mind remaking it.
I saw them take it back to the kitchen, and pull off the things that I didn’t ask for and bring me back the same plate.
There was still some cabbage and onions mixed in with the noodles.
I asked again if they wouldn’t mind just making me a fresh plate please.
She kind of groaned, and went and made another plate.
Also didn’t bring any water until the very end of the meal, with our bill.
All that said and done, I do love their food, and the noodles tasted delicious. They always do. Just I find the service at this location isn’t the greatest…
A great open restaurant where they hand pulled the noodles in front of you. It is quite packed, but the turn around is quite fast as well.
We had the popcorn chicken which was really delicious. The beef friar was delicious too. The duck and pork noodle had a spicy taste, when asked they say it was peppers and gave us more soup as it was too spicy for the kids.
If I could give a no star rating I would surely do that! Last night we ordered noodles it came like 2 hours late and the food was the greasiest food we ever had and it wasn’t fresh
Dropped by on a holiday. The washrooms would use some work. Food was okay, came out fast. There are lots of tables. You can see the cooks hand make the noodles too.
The pork app was an English muffin and shredded pork.
They serve warm and cold water with lemon once seated.
I personally found the Yonge and finch location a bit better in terms of the taste of the food. Overall this location is quite busy and the food is decent for the price.
Taste and price are pretty good. They are open 24 hours now since February 2019. The reason I didn't give 5 starts is because I think the service still have room to improve.
