I wanted pants to look form fitting. I asked for it to be tight and best accentuate my back. I went 3 times and each time were very slight changes. I didn't get the end result I wanted but I am not going back.
$85 for slimming pants down didn't seem right. I should have been more assertive.

I had a very tricky jumpsuit that needed extra fabric and tailoring. Magic Tailor met with me multiple times to figure out how to best problem-solve the garment so it would fit the best on me for my special event. I'm very appreciative of Magic Tailor!

Great work! Very impressed with the job they did on fixing a worn collar on my jacket! They also called me and let me know what they could and couldn’t do.

They called me while they were working on it to let me know that they needed to make a change to how they were going to fix it so there were no surprises which I really appreciate.

If I ever need something fixed or tailored, I’ll definitely come back!

I can't believe I've never written a review for one of my FAVE businesses ever! I've been getting my clothes tailored here for almost 10 years now- once a year, I'll bring a big garbage bag of clothes (bc I'm small and short, so nothing fits me) and it's like coming home. Baba and Cihan take care of their customers like family- if there are any pieces you need rushed, they'll make sure of it; if a piece is complicated and needs a bit more work, they'll tweak it for you again free of charge; they really have an eye for how things should fit (and I'm picky!) and do an amazing job every time.and they are just good people all around. I could not recommend them enough!

The quality of the tailoring here is excellent with very reasonable turnaround times and fair pricing. The customer service was really great. One of the pairs of pants I asked them to adjust had already been adjusted in the past in the opposite direction, but they were still able to do it. I'll definitely be coming back.

I had the most awful experience here. This place was recommended and I trusted the reviews but the employee body shamed my friend and was so disrespectful scrolling through his phone and Instagram while speaking to us. I would not recommend.

I am honestly so impressed with Magic Tailor. I had called around to multiple tailors asking if anyone could fix my cashmere cardigan. Everyone said no. I brought it into the store and they let me know they could do it but it wouldn't be invisible and I just decided to risk it. Upon picking it up yesterday I checked it and you can't even tell there was a hole! It was a pretty big hole too, about a cm or just less than. You can see a little shadow if you hold a light behind it, which I don't care about. It's honestly the best job ever and was a reasonable price. I'm so impressed I'm going to bring everything I have here. Great job!

The gentleman (whose name I did not get) was quick, efficient, friendly. Turn around time was less than a week it was perfect and not expensive. Exactly what I like in a tailor.

Excellent! Had three evening dresses taken in and hemmed. All three completed with a custom fit! Timely as well! My absolute got to!

Such a friendly personal and so good in what they do! Had my pair of jeans fixed (had a hole in the back). They fixed it right away and within a couple of minutes I was able to walk away with what felt like new pants to me! Highly recommend!

I had to get the zipper on my winter jacket fixed, and they were able to fix it quickly and for $10.

The most genuine honest and talented business! I have full confidence they can fix almost any tailoring problem and they do so after other tailors have told me it’s not possible or fixed something poorly! The fit is always great, and if I’m not happy they changed it for me until I was satisfied. Haven’t had a better customer service experience! 12/10 would recommend.

Went to get my trench coat tailored pretty much every way possible as it was way too big. It looked and fitted amazing after being altered and got it in a week. They charge a fair price for the amazing job they do. Definitely recommend.

Quick turnaround, fair pricing for the area, friendly and knowledgeable tailors. Never try to upsell you, if they think an alteration isn't worth the price, they'll let you know. My new go-to for alterations.

Amazing, friendly, quick service! I dropped off a dress that needed to be shortened on Tuesday and it was ready on Friday. Was perfect length and reasonably priced for the job, especially since it was rushed. 10/10 recommend.

Quick turnaround and great work I had 4 pair of slacks that much wider calf off sales rack and I wanted modern cut he did great job tailoring them to fit me cost was reasonable these pants fits like glove, now!

Very honest and creative person.
I needed help with my coat zip and I was supposed to get it fixed however the price of the coat zip and the mending fee was almost the same ie around 70-80$ hence I had to call them up and cancel.
Thankfully they were nice to understand and cancel it.
I bet they are always busy but they also do address your concerns very well.
They have a clean space and all the covid 19 mandatory rules are being followed.
They don’t have elevator or escalator so you gotta take the stairs on the church street right next to McDonalds.

I just noticed over time of going here that the size is always larger or baggier than when you try it on. I assume they're trying to be safe but at times that little gap makes all the difference

I went to repair my pants. The stitches at the bottom of one leg broke open. The guy stitched back in 2 minutes, and didn't take money from me.

Excellent service. I had the sleeves of a men's wool trench coat hemmed here, which was done in 3-4 business days. I am very satisfied with the work done!

I have had many t shirts and jeans altered at Magic Tailor and the experience that sticks out to me is one time I wanted to shorten the length of the t shirt and the tailor also suggested shortening the waist and sleeves, which made the proportions much better.

This guy is a pro.

I needed some work done that was a little different due to it being work uniform stuff. No issue. Took it in, knew what to do and did it at a very very fair price.

I have since recommended him to all my paramedic buddies who are envious of my new pants.

This is the best place in the city for alterations and repairs to garments. They're super friendly and are happy to do any fit preference.

They do a marvelous job at an affordable price. Only place I go to get my clothes tailored/repaired.

Without a doubt, the best tailor in Toronto. 30 years ago my husband had an Italian custom made double breasted silk suit made which cost him $1500.00 for our wedding that he also wore three additional times. Rather than disposing of it, he decided to call the boutique where it was custom made for him. They were more interested in selling him a new suit that would cost him between $3,000 - $5,000. While surfing the internet for a tailor he came across “Magic Tailor” reviews were great and he decided to take the suit in to be tailored and restyled. Two weeks later he received a call indicating that the suit was ready for a fitting he went in and was amazed the suit that had an 80’s flare was modern and up-to-date style wise. The pants and jacket looked and fit amazing. A shout out to the tailor and the stylist that measured my husband and who did a fantastic job. If my husband could he would give them 10 stars.

Amazing service and skills. I brought Magic Tailor my wedding dress in a panic - less than one week before my wedding and my previous seamstress had left things to the last minute and then basically ruined my dress. Way too tight in places, loose in others, fabric bunching, just terrible. I didn't think it could be fixed, but somehow they fixed it. More than fixed it - it was absolutely perfect. And they rushed to get it done in time for me too. They are incredible. Their prices are reasonable too. My husband has taken several suits here for alterations as well and they always come out perfect. Highly recommend.

I showed up last night to drop off 2 pairs of shorts and a pair of pants, they were fixed by today. I'm very impressed with this place. It cost a total of 35 dollars cash (would have been 39 with card) they are all ready to be put back on! At a price of about $11.50 per garment!

Exceptional experience. I had a skirt and a jacket altered and they were done in less than 2 days, to a perfect fit! Great service. I found my new tailors!

I've been two separate times and the results were exceptional on each occasion. I had zips sewn into pockets for one of my coats, which was quite expensive, but the results were robust, in keeping with the look of the jacket and should last a long, long time. The second time I wanted straps from a worn out bag to be reattached. The tailor did it in 5-10 minutes for a minimal price, and yet the results look excellent. If I need any textile repairs or modifications, I will be back and would recommend Magic Tailor to others. Give them a try.

Brought 2 shirts to tailor he screwed it up and said I still have to pay.

High quality service, a little pricey however service is top notch. The main man working at the front is friendly, high expertise and genuinely cares for your needs. If he is away and a young man or an older woman is working at the front, they are arrogant and dont care for you. Luckily they are not there often.

This operation is frankly, a complete hackjob. Do not ever bring couture level clothing to this shop. Hemming pants is fine, but I wouldn't trust them with a more complex job.

I brought them a new pair of jeans to hem/taper and also provided them my old pair so that they could use it as a reference. The result, the length of the hem was too long and they only tapered below the knee when it should have been along the whole inseam. That resulted in a weird and baggy looking thigh. I now have to bring this to another tailer and hopefully they can salvage my $200 pair of jeans.

Fine for simple alternations. Do not go here for complicated dress alterations - they don't know what they're doing and will give you bad advice.

My first experience here was fantastic. Very professional service and work. Very happy with the work they did on my bridesmaid dress!

They did multiple alterations to my Hugo Boss suit and it came out beautifully and very fitted. They made the off-the-rack suit look like it's a custom suit. They are also fantastic people to deal with and very courteous. I will get all my future tailoring done here.

Sometimes the adjustment may be a little bit off, but their attitude towards achieving customer satisfaction is beyond reproach.they will redo the job if you are not satisfied.that is fair and good business ethics.

I've been going to Magic Tailor for many years and highly recommend them. Quality is great. Turnaround times are quick. Pricing is very fair, especially considering the location. Forget about the dry cleaner tailors. Come here instead - you'll be happy you did.

I recently went to magic tailor to get 3 suits and 2 suit pants altered. Overall, I had a great experience - the prices are fair (not cheap but is worth it in my opinion: costed me around $250 in total for the 5 pieces). The place definitely can get busy, especially on the weekend. So when I went in on a Saturday afternoon, the measurement process was very quick - you essentially have to flag them down as they're juggling between measuring other customers and running to the back, so make sure to be clear of exactly what you want.

When I went in for pickup, the pants turned out great, but my suit jackets were still too tight and needed to be loosened more. The owner took one look and immediately started marking up the jackets - he did not hesitate about taking the jackets back and making sure the fit is perfect. This dedication to making sure the clients are completely satisfied truly shows the integrity of the workers here - the biggest reason to why I would recommend magic tailor and also believe that the prices are justified

When I came back again to pick up the jackets after work, I came in with a small rip on the suit pants that I was wearing. I asked the owner if he can help me quickly fix it as I did not have another pair of pants and would have to wait in the change room - he did not hesitate to take it to the back and it was fixed in less than 5 minutes - again goes to show the dedication to serve the customer.

In conclusion, I had a great experience at magic tailor and definitely would return in the future.

Brought a suit in to have sleeves and legs shortened - after a 3 week wait, the sleeves were up to my forearms and the legs at my calves. Not sure how this could happen.

This guy is a straight up magician! His service comes through in the clutch! You'd think that with the speed combined with high quality the prices would be insanely high but it's actually fair and very affordable. I've gone to him for various short notice networking events and interviews and he's always delivered at a high level. I recommend this guy if you're looking for a lifelong tailor.

Fixed the broken zipper on my jacket in under 10 minutes for only 10 bucks. Had the exact same zipper slider in stock. The perfect fix quickly, and cheaply.
