Food was ok ok, not amazing but not bad either, expensive though. The main thing which annoyed me is that the staff was so unresponsive. I don’t know how to explain it, they all were standing in corner talking while I had to wait for them to look at me.
Also they keep asking for Pani Puri first, even though we didn’t want to eat, as we came for thali only, they asked me 3 times. We understand you want people to eat that first so their stomach is full, but we came for dinner. (Also we told them, we don’t want to eat Pani Puri today maybe next time we will try).
I understand it’s unlimited but that’s the scam, you can never eat the worth you pay for food, and still pay it. Maybe people who eat too much is a good deal, but 90% cannot eat it.

I went there with my friends, otherwise I would never recommend to anyone personally.

I experienced an excellent experience. Food is fresh, served with smiles. Amazing experience. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

Honestly, I never tried this cuisine before, me and my fiance loved it.
The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and always on hand to answer any questions. And the setting is just stunning, you really do feel transported to royalty.

Our group of SIX was stuffed in a sofa enclosure seating for FOUR. I requested the lady at the counter that the last two people could not be served and they had to stretch their hand out all the time to beg for refills. She got agitated and very sternly said that that enclosure is for six and we have a long waiting line outside. Take it out leave it attitude. We had already started eating so did not leave and did not want to create a scene. IT WAS VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

If you are craving for the taste of authentic Gujarati Thali then your wait is over. Maharaja bhog is the perfect place to satisfy your quench for tasty home country like food away from home. Every single person at this outlet was super helpful and humble. Kudos to entire team for their service and their food. Owner himself paying attention to guests and checking what they need. Team is living upto their tag 'Atithi Devo Bhava' (Guest is like God)
Only thing is that looking at the demand of the place, one needs to reach this place quite early to be in queue. No online Reservations. Must place to visit.

Loads to mention
1) Restaurant opens at 6 pm on Sundays, we reached at 6 pm only to find a huge lineup to be seated. We were not early enough and were added to waitlist. We waited for an hour.
2) being a group of 5, we were asked to sit at a spot which clearly looked like for 4 people, the manager didn't help or accommodate and tried to argue back, that it is supposed to fit 6 people, yeh, maybe 4 adults and 2 kids. Horrible customer service.
3) the way tables are set up, some servers have to reach quite a bit to serve the people that are sitting further away, which is awkward and uncomfortable for both the server and for the customer. Some of the servers' uniform is not clean which is fine, but it touches the glass of water and chaas.
4) cleanliness is a huge miss, the water bottle had food stains, there were food remains in the newly served glass, food remains under the table from before, disgusting.
5) food is flavourful, but theres a lot that still needs to be improved such as food not being warm enough, not getting sufficient refills of lentils and vegetables and having to flag the servers.
6) not enough washrooms for the amount of people.

They charge $28 per person, would I visit this place again? Nope, unfortunately not, until they fix above issues.

I went there yesterday with my friends. Food was amazing and the service was too good. I came here after reading all reviews as it was 5 stars and about service as well. Everything was on point as I expected. But one thing was disappointing there was a guy working his name was Kapil, when we got done with our food he came up to our table and started saying how was the food this and that, at last he said everything was good soo just put a positive review under my name and my name is kapil. Like are you serious man…. You get reviewsike this. Before i thought kapil’s serive could be really as there was his name in all review… but now i know how his name is there.

Rest all the staff members were really good.

Stupid marketing strategy. Open only for three hours to create hipe. No reservations. Not enough space for parking for people. I reached there at 7 pm. And they were not taking any more customers.

Amazing vegetarian thali, service was great, servers were constantly serving with a big smile.

A little tight with parking, visited during weekday and found it getting busy around 7.30 ish.

The food is definitely leaning north India, however it was very delicious.

If you are looking for indian thali, this is the place to go in mississauga. Staff is friendly and the food was delicious. Since we were there on a weekday, there was no wait time.

Absolutely a 5-star establishment. Servers come around and fill your thali, AYCE-style. The service alone is enough reason to come here.

We had a large group of all vegans and they were incredibly accommodating to us, making non-dairy versions of anything we wanted and making sure we got the full experience. The manager was incredibly friendly and attentive, and so were the staff. Seriously some of the best service I’ve had in Canada.

The food is also great. Everything I had was delicious, and there are so many different things to try! The place was also very nice. The price is a bit steep, but no different than other AYCE spots of the same calibre. In fact, I’ve seen worse quality for more money at other places.

This is a great spot to go, especially for a special occasion. Keep in mind, though, that it’s fast-paced, with servers whizzing around you asking what you want and adding to your thali. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this and thought it was quite an experience.

This place is ok to try but the food is very sweet. No matter what curry you take, everything has either sugar or jaggery in it.

First time tried Gujrati and Rajasthani cuisine. Also it was first time trying out on table buffet kind of service. Almost all the dishes were good. Quick service and staff was regularly asking for filling up anything.
One less star in rating because at some point it was obvious they wanted us to like chug everything in and empty the table for others. After every 2 minutes they were like “anything else, anything else”.

Variety in food but taste is ok, nothing outstanding.beware if you are going with family of 5 or more or big group, they charge you gratuity per person in that case. So if you are sole payor, you will end up paying much more than actual bill. Parking is too tight and there is long wait. Looting customers, and not paying tips to waiters, NEVER going back there!

Best place to have unlimited veg thali. The food is super yummy and authentic. The service is great. Had such a back home taste after really long time and would highly recommend this place.

Solid place for vegetarian thali. We went for Sunday lunch, delicious and plentiful options. They serve at the table directly, no wandering around at buffet stations.

A few words of caution. It's busy so show up early and put your name down, and the parking lot is incredibly busy and full so finding a spot can be hard. Lastly, since it's a one size fits all you really need to be a big eater to get value out of it.

One suggestion for the restaurant. The first thali for everyone should be made in the kitchen and delivered to each person so that everything is hot at least for the first round. It would also speed up the first plate.

Food is good, but without customer knowledge, they charge gratuity $5.00 if you were more than 5 persons…. (indirect way of gettting tip) Doesn’t make sense of this gratuity….
And also they dnt give this gratuity to employees…

And also manager girl is rude in behaviour….

While the experience is nice, the food isn't that great. There are lots of servers who'd make rounds to serve the dishes but the ones with Chapatis are less and you get to wait longer for them. The price doesn't justify the food quality. The ambience could definitely be improved.

Best of the best Gujarati food I have ever had. The service is utmost important part of restaurant for unlimited thali and Maharaja Bhog has came out to 100% satisfactory. Employees are working tireless to serve every table. I am going back again and again and again.

The masala chase needed more salt, black pepper and chilled a bit more, the food overall is really good and very fresh! No wonder there is an insane amount of people lined up to eat here. I had the same thing in Mumbai during my holidays and over there they come around to wash your hands prior to eating and after you finish but water they use is nice and warm, here it was cold

It was a really good experience. The food, staff and the atmosphere was really good. Live music with hot tasty food. Cant really go wrong with it. Karan and the whole team were amazing!

I recently visited Maharaja Bhog with my family and friends, and I must say that I was extremely disappointed with the service we received. As someone who has frequented this establishment many times before, I have always enjoyed excellent service. However, this time was a complete letdown.

Despite repeatedly informing two individuals, who seemed to be in charge, about our preferences for sweets and appetizers, they completely ignored us and failed to communicate our requests to the other servers. It was embarrassing to be left hanging in front of my friends. This level of negligence was far below the high standards I had come to expect from Maharaja Bhog.

To make matters worse, at the end of our meal, one of the individuals (I believe his name is Kapil) approached our table and claimed to have taken great care of us. He went so far as to ask us to leave a positive review about him and the restaurant. This self-centered behavior was not only distasteful but also disrespectful to his colleagues, as he failed to acknowledge their efforts. I found it to be a clear demonstration of selfishness.

It is imperative for the restaurant's owners to address this issue with the individual involved. Such selfish behavior should not be tolerated in a professional establishment. Unfortunately, based on this negative experience, I have decided that I will not be returning to Maharaja Bhog in the future.

I hope that the management takes my feedback seriously and implements measures to ensure a more positive and cohesive team environment. Upholding high standards of service and professionalism should be a priority for any reputable establishment.
